- Samantha (10/5): I will go back for sure - This property was great. It was in the heart of Cavendish so close to everything. You could walk to sandspit you could walk to the grocery store or the liquor store and there was a delicious restaurant right next-door as well. Inside was spacious, clean and we had access to the "backyard" from inside our room. Plus there was a BBQ outside and a back porch. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had lots of towels and face cloths, the kitchen had utensils and dishes for us to use. It was great. There's nothing I didn't like. If I was going to be critical I would say it would look even nicer and less outdated with new fresh paint and new floors throughout but it's not necessary to enjoy the stay. I prefer keeping the price low and I will note the beds were clearly new mattresses. They were nice and comfortable.

- Kristi (3/5): Ghetto motel but made the best of it - How close it was to all the main attractions Room smelled bad, beds were uncomfortable beyond measure, did not look clean, earwigs, only gave 1 towel a person for the 2 nights we stayed. The pool was not as advertised, I think they consider “heated” because the sun shines on it. Freezing cold. Not worth the money.

- Amy (6/5): We were happy enough with the facility, dated but functional - The location was great. The staff worked hard and were lovely. We loved having an area to cook and store food. We had what we needed, but there certainly was not any bells and whistles The rooms were dated which was OK, but the bathtub really needed new sealing around it as it was discolored. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable,functional but really not great. The chairs inside the room and on the deck area were also uncomfortable, was not really pleasant to sit and eat/chat.

Lots of great food options but may have to make reservations at suppertime. The room climate central air conditioning was great to escape the afternoon heat.

La première nuit, il y avait beaucoup bruit dans la chambre a coté dehors. C'était après 11h et on a pas pu vous contacter. Mais ça va pas nous empêcher d'y retourner car vous m'avez écrit le lendemain.

Nothing they could do other than an air spray. Nobody came to clean the room. For the price we paid it’s not worth it. It’s acceptable /ok otherwise. Close to the cavendish beach.

In the bathroom the towel bar was loose, there was mold behind the toilet, the tap for the shower was not working properly. The outside of the property needs some TLC

The place was quiet even though there were children in other units. The proximity to attractions, beaches, shopping and all areas of PEI was excellent.. I will definitely return.

- Roongrat (6/5): - The property is quite old even though it's renovated. This was the only night we stayed in Cavendish and it was quite a surprise that the office only open until 6 PM and the check in time starts at 3 PM. It seems quite short hours for a motel. Also there was only a small soap provided and we could not request for additional soap once the office is closed. But the motel is located in a convenient location.
- Jenny (6/5): Great location, comfy beds - Comfy beds, they had a rollaway bed for us when we asked, for an extra 30 a night though which is kind of steep. Ground coffee, sugar, coffee mate available with a little coffee maker. Bathroom seemed newly tiled/renovated. Wifi was pretty good. Location is great, right next door to chez Yvonne restaurant and on the other side it's very close to the entrance to shining waters. Right opposite the convenience and souvenir store Could've been cleaner. There was dust on the baseboards and debris under the beds and tables. The bath only filled a third of the way before the hot water ran out and after waiting 20 mins to try and top up the water was still only lukewarm coming from the tap so had to abandon the bath altogether. Not the motels fault but there were loud guests banging and shouting next door that woke us up very early in the morning. Again not the motels fault but the road is very busy during tourist season so it's extremely hard to cross with children if you're on foot to go to sandspit or the attractions that are across the road. We had to walk down a ways towards the fish and chip shop to cross more safely where we could see the traffic better and we didn't have the entrances and exits of the motel, restaurant and convenience store. Still took about 5 mins each time to wait for a safe spot to cross unless someone takes mercy and stops for you!

- Teresa (5/5): Very outdated, needs lots of updates and repairs. - I liked the location The buildings need lots of repairs, stairs were rotted to our upstairs unit, unsafe.... very outdated, bbqs are very old, ours didn't work so asked to have it fixed, they did but only one side worked. The beds were hard as a rock. stove in room only one burner worked, and only if set on high. Some electrical outlets had burn marks like it set a fire in a plug. Had to have hair dryer replaced it only blew cold air. Check in is 3pm Office closes at 6pm and check out is 10am. Didn't recieve fresh towels until 3pm. Randomn stains on the walls, we tried to scrub them off ourselves.

- Kaleigh (8/5): Family trip - Great location of a patio. Nice patio, spacious. Would be best if the mattresses could be updated and the cushions on the chairs as they were stained. First time check-in was handled like this- a phone call and explanation with the key left in the room. This was smooth after a long day of travel. Would stay again!
- Francois (8/5): - Overall a good property. Only 2 minor nitpicks: 1. For a place for 6 people, there was only 4 chairs for the dinner table, only 3 butter knives, etc. 2. Only one bed had access to the tv. A second tv in the second room would be welcomed.

- Ross (6/5): Overall a fine stay. Motel would benefit from some upgrading outside and inside. - Great location, beds very comfortable and clean. The door lock was old and hard to open and the bathroom door got stuck every time you closed it. The shower temperature was fincky.
- Mark (10/5): - The staff were incredible! Very hard working, super pleasant, very helpful with any questions or needs. The grounds were neat and tidy. I realize that the property is old and you can see that they are working to make the required upgrades and refresh's to each room. This will take time, however, for the new owners only taking possession for a year. It is apparent that they are trying their best to make sure everyone is taken care of during the upgrades. It was great to have wireless internet available, what is now a must have, it's still nice to see that they are doing what they can to keep everyone happy. I spoke with a guest that has been staying for the past 21 years and she's very happy with the changes as well. I will be happy to suggest this location to anyone who inquires about it. Keep up the great work and I hope to see you again soon!

- MP0721 (10/5): Affordable and conveniently located - Very helpful and conveniently located. We got a room with a kitchen in it which helps us save a lot on food. We did find the internet in the evenings to be slow but we weren't on vacation to use the internet so we rolled with it.
- Meeta (6/5): - Its a basic 3 star motel. Typical motel smell. Found some bugs in bathroom.
- Amanda (4/5): - Our toilet has issues flushing anything. We did not flush even toilet paper. It backed up and my son put his hand all the way down the toilet to see if there was a clog he could remove and he did. I notified the front desk that this persisted and was very unnecessary for my son to ned to deal with. There is one toilet and it should work and would have been easily identifiable by staff who cleaned the toilet, if they did clean the toilet. I went to the front desk that is only staffed from 4:30-6 pm and told them that I would like to receive a refund for one or both nights. I was told that would happen and never received this, but rather returned home, after dinner, in our second night to find a trash can with a used and feces covered toilet plunger in it in front of our motel room. This is unacceptable service and I would still like to have at least one night reimbursed to me as a result of having to deal with the toilet for nearly the full duration of our two night stay.
- Darlene (4/5): - Well where do I begin. This was my sixth time staying at this place. Upon arrivial I asked the women at the desk is this the same owner her reply was I dont know . Then I paid just under 600 for a 2 night stay with a kitchenette. After paying all I got was a receipt no enjoy your stay nothing except if you need clean towels put in laundry basket and put it outside your door. Got to the room the furniture was old ,beds older than heck and not comfortable at all . The burners on the stove very rusted there was mold all around rubber on the fridge, the cushions on the chairs at the table were so stained and filthy. Then was greeted with a sign which said if there was any strong odors left in room from cooking u would be charged additionally. Therefore u pretty much are told to cook outside so there was no reason to get a kitchenette. Even baseboards were dirty. There were four of us none of us were pleased but room was paid in full. No staff approached to us to ask how are stay was or if anything was needed. There was no phone in room to call office so if anything was needed u had to find staff. The TV was a 32 in or smaller as well. The outside of building was also in need of TLC. Would I stay here again absolutely "No". It was not worth the money we spent.

- 334melissat (2/5): - This place was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! The pictures are very miss leading . It is horribly run down. The Pool is in a field in the back yard and there is a broken down old home with a broken toilet outside right in the yard of the motel. I booked 3 nights this week. When we arrived I was shocked by the state of the place. Then when I was given my key and went to our room it smelt like sewage !!! I went to the front desk to complain and there solution was to spray air freshener and put a wall plug in air freshener. It worked for a while. Then after we came back from supper the room smelled like horrible sewage again! At this time it was 8pm and my family and I were very tired of all this (my husband and I were travelling with our to young kids 6 & 9) I called the front desk and again their solution was to spray air freshener then I said that it was unacceptable and we needed a new room. I was told that they did not have one then I stated I am not sleeping in a room that smells like sewage! They did end up giving us a full refund (which I was very grateful for) but then at that point it was 10pm and we had to struggle to find another place to sleep!
- Shawn (5/5): - Location The floor was in bad shape, the kitchen sink didn’t hold water, the ac wasn’t any good , constantly killing ants and earwigs.
- Chelsea-Anne (8/5): - Walkable to shops and restaurants. No frills and exterior is pretty weathered and discouraging to look at when you arrive - the rooms is clean and well kept. Air conditioner is very loud. Good cost for location. Fine times your head.

However, the room had a noticeable moldy smell that made the stay less comfortable. With a bit of attention to air quality and cleanliness, this place could be much more enjoyable.
