Zuerst gab es schon mal Probleme mit dem Preis der Nächtigung, da sie einen sehr schlechten Umrechnungskurs verwendete vom angegeben US Dollar Preis zu Kenianische Schillinge. Ich konnte aber nicht vorab mit der Kreditkarte in US Dollar bezahlen! Das Zimmer war dermaßen verstaubt, das meine Freundin starke Allergische Reaktionen bekam! Im Appartement war nicht mal ein einziger Teebeutel zum Kochen einer Tasse Kaffee. Die Dame an der Reception gab an das ein Tee im Restaurant 300 Kenianische Schillinge kosten würde!!! Eine Frechheit! Dieses Hotel nie mehr!!

Quite my style too, as a creative being into boho fashion and decor, and!! Being from lamu, Sheila the style it’s just perfect for me. The area it’s very convenient and super market just at the door step!! The staff are very humble too❤️ A bit of paint around the block😊

Management rations things in a weird way, including toilet paper. After 1.5 weeks I had gone through 2 small rolls and I noticed it wasn't being replenished during cleanings. I went to the front desk and asked for more and they said no, that is their policy, after 2 I am on my own. For 3 weeks. Eventually they relinquished and gave me a roll. That should tell you everything you need to know about other things.

• Annemarieke (8/5): Lovely Swahili ambiance - The location and exterior of the King Post are incredible. Swahili ambiance in central Nairobi. The coffee bar was also lovely. The bathroom is somewhat outdated and could have been cleaner.

• Ngela (4/5): - Le cadre, un peu loin de la ville du coup, on avait un peu moins de bruits. L'hôtel est très vieux, les façades de l'immeuble part en miette. Je ne suis pas maniaque, mais le ménage est très très mal fait voire pas du tout. La sauce tomate sur le mur de la cuisine est là depuis plusieurs mois. Les moustiquaires sont sales, à vomir, jamais nettoyer depuis des années. La salle de bain, c'est immonde. En plus de cela, nous n'avons jamais eu de papiers toilettes ni savon. Heureusement que nous avons pensé en acheter. Le petit déjeuner, je vous déconseille. Tout est bas de gammes. Petit déjeuner médiocre et de très très mauvaise qualité. En plus de cela, on était servi au bout d'une heure puisque la serveuse était plus occupée avec son téléphone qu'à travailler. Je déconseille l'hôtel
• Marc (8/5): Cadre magnifique et équipements de qualité permettant de se relaxer. - Le cadre qui se mêle à la nature est juste magnifique, de même que la piscine chauffée qui se fond dans le paysage. Aussi le Coffee shop est appréciable dans un contexte de vacances où l’on ne veut pas travailler qui peut même nous servir dans nos chambres. Présence également d’un restaurant même si je ne l’ai pas essayé.

Everything was clean and well looked after. The TV didn’t work and a few more appliances like cooking utensils would have been helpful, but we enjoyed our stay a lot.

• Hassina (10/5): Absolutely fantastic!! - Everything!!!! We really had a fantastic time! Esther in particular was just amazing; friendly, helpful. Same with Micheal. Location was super, quiet and serene, yet so close to supermarkets and eateries. Units are so spacious. Balconies are awesome. Beds are comfy. It was a pleasure to celebrate our 3rd anniversary there. I will DEFINITELY be returning, and would actively recommend The King Post to others. I have zero complaints about the stay itself Although, I would recommend for King Post to do would be to paint the hotel. It looks quite dated from the outside, which might deter potential clients from booking this amazing hotel. Also, maybe install arabian showers in the toilets, which will be appreciated especially by your muslim clients

The waiting time in Tavern restaurant was over 1 hour even though we were one of the first guests. Probably better to order a food to the room next time (we saw other guests did that). But vibe and design of the room compensated it all!

My room was dusty everywhere, bedsheets were old and stained, TV didn't work, shower was faulty and was sprinkling water outside the bathroom over the door... the place is just rundown

The staff are friendly, and the property is conveniently located between supermarkets. The internet connection is excellent. The setting was pleasant and had great potential. However, I would recommend considering some renovation, as the apartments feel a bit dated. This is not related to cleanliness, which I would like to clarify. Additionally, providing universal power sockets or adapters for travelers coming from countries with different plug standards would be a real advantage.

The hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants and shopping malls, making it ideal for busy visitors. Breakfast was quite limited, and I often could not get my preferred options. The electrical plugs in the room were very old and could not accommodate my laptop and phone chargers. There were no adaptors available, so I had to go out to purchase one myself. Additionally, the room had a serious mosquito problem; I could barely sleep on the first night due to the number of mosquitoes.

• Wolf (9/5): Eine Unterkunft die Empfehlung verdient. - War schon 2mal da und wie immer zu empfehlen,besonders hervorzuheben ist die Lady vom Frühstück -resturant, sie war nicht nur sehr aufmerksam und freundlich sondern ,als ich mir eine leichte Erkältung eingefangen habe,brachte sie mich mit einem speziellen Drink auch auf die Straße der Genesung.Es ist wirklich empfehlenswert! Hinter dem Grundstück wurde ein neues Gebäude errichtet,was tagsüber Lärm verursacht hat,aber dafür kann King Post nichts dafür,wenn Mann tagsüber unterwegs ist fällt es fast nicht auf .

Die Bettwäsche war nicht frisch gewaschen (zerknittert & viele fremde Haare darin), der Boden war super staubig (ewig nicht geputzt!), komplett heruntergekommen, Putz kommt von der Decke im Bad etc. Außerdem Kakerlaken.

I would live here. The deck is awesome! There was construction right behind out unit, so not great to relax during the day.

• Dorina (5/5): Please save the King’s Post and renovate the place! - I know the place from 2017/2018 when I stayed there a lot. Since then, it is a quiet run down. No investments/renovations have been done since then. The pool was dirty, the paint falls in some area from the walls. I really loved the place and hope that I can love it soon again… The location is good and the combination of apartments and facilities.
