Brenda (1/5): - They cancel my reservation without my knowledge and I was not wanting it canceled so when I arrived at the holiday tears motel in Houston Mississippi they inform me that it had been canceled didn't know why and didn't have a reason to explain I didn't like anything at all

Tamara (8/5): - The hotel was a nice enough place to crash for a night. There's no coffee maker in the rooms and there is no breakfast or coffee in the office. The gas station next door had pretty good coffee and breakfast.

Thomas (8/5): You get what you pay for. - This motel is definitely showing its age. The pool is no longer open and service is at a minimum. But as the only hotel for 20 miles around (except for private B&Bs) convenience is a big factor. We were in town for a funeral and wanted to be close. On the plus side, everything was clean and it worked. On the minus side, I saw 2 roaches on the floor. None were in the bed.

Should h - Smoking room Dirty, no breakfast, when asked for towels people were rude. Killed 2 roaches in bathroom. Asked for turndown and all they did was pull covers over bed and take trash. Also, the second day left and came back all they did was take towels and empty trash. So why even come in Room. Plus, we left at 7:30 came back at 9 and trash had been taken but nothing else had been done. So they just come in room whenever. Not happy about that.

Thomas (6/5): A decent place to stay in Houston, Ms - It was pretty much the only motel in Houston, Ms. If you're staying there, it's a good deal. It was comfortable and quiet. They had a cricket problem. A better sealing around the door could have prevented this. It's an older motel that has been redone multiple times in a small town that doesn't get much traffic.

And it’s clear that the motel bought new furniture and redid the floors, but completely failed in cleanliness. There was mold and spider webs above the shower, and the room had a funny snell.
