• Chris (1/5): - Location was good Everything about the place, it was smelly, staine's everywhere. The bedroom window was broken couldn't even close it. The bed was so uncomfortable, bedroom was horrible an smelly. It was not worth the money I paid for the two nights.

Wen ever we go to blackpool ,which is quite often , this time was awful , soon as we walled in we noticed a change , the smell Was almost unbearable , the male that was their spoke very little English yea no n 5-10 minutes after that it was painful to communicate , we waited for him to clean our room which really was 10 minutes after, we walked in it smelt of wacky backy , the toilet was filthy along with the whole bathroom , their was dirty sanitary towels In the bin , Cakes in the cupboard , someones jacket thrown on the wardrobe and teaspoon wasnt clean n i mean had something sticky on it , the bedding looked fresh n towels were ok , we had no internet our whole stay (2nights) , wen i went to see him about he sed sorry and laughed ,that was it . We contemplated coming home early but decided just to go out alday n night , i dont know was has happened in the last 6 mnths but what ever it is we will never stay here again , probs the worse stay we have ever had in blackpool Everything

• Rebecca (3/5): Dirty and unclean - The location of the hotel is great, unfortunately about the only thing going for it The rooms were very dirty and unclean. We opened the door to find the room tiny but this was fine as we only wanted someone to stay after a night out. The room had not been cleaned prior, there were used bars of soaps and an empty bottle top on the sink, toothpaste spit all over the sink. The shower was covered in dirt and mould and not the mould that's engrained into the silicone, it would wipe off easy enough so it clearly just never gets cleaned. There was even the plastic cover off a ladies shaver still in the shower tray so was obvious no one had even bothered cleaning it. There was dust all on the tea making tray and facilities too.

There were no towels, no toilet paper, and the hand soap in the bathroom was opened. The carpet was full of dust and colour that get off the walls. The bed was dirty with big stains on it. The door lock was broken, and there was a very bad smell. It is not worth it at all. It might is cheap but It is dangerusly dirty. Pay £20 more and go to a decent hotel. Worst hotel I ever stayed.

• Steph (1/5): Horrendous 🤮 - The only good thing was the location it was close to everything Everything!! The whole place smelled really bad of mould it hits you like a punch in the face as soon as you walk through the front door. There was mould in the bathroom, brown stains on the wall dirty toilet seat paper thin walls, we didn’t take pictures because it was that bad we left shortly after arriving and booked another hotel, I’m not one to usually leave reviews but please take my advice and save your money because this is by far the worst place I have ever booked as we didn’t stay the night
• David (2/5): We would never ever stay here again. - We have nothing good to say about the property except that it is near the beach, the Blackpool Tower, entertainment areas and the town centre. On arriving, some people were waiting to get in because they thought the door was locked but it wasn’t, it jams when closed over. We had two rooms and for us both rooms in this property were very dirty, with filthy carpets and looked run down showing very little sign of care and maintenance. Doors were difficult to lock and unlock, one room needed a shoulder push to open the door and a hefty slam to close it.

• Becky (1/5): Horrendous - The manager was rude he gave us a room where the head board wasn’t attached to the bed screws sticking out and expected disabled infant to sleep on it put on a top floor where the window had no window on it to close it which is a health & safety risk for young children the whole hotel was filthy the hotel room had no lights in the room or the bathroom we had to use the torches on our phone the bedding was stained so brought sheets in town the WiFi don’t work unless ur in reception u have to pay for ur room before u see it & don’t get a refund if ur in happy with the room! • Michael (1/5): The only positive about this place was the location. Right by coral island. Everything else was abysmal.  - The location, close to everything the property looks ok outside. I’m not sure whereto start, poor customer service. Shower was filthy and full of grime. Toilet was filthy with brown stains . The shower did not work. There was no light in toilet or room and staff just put a small lamp in the room which barely lit up. The window would not close properly so it was freezing and the heating was switched off at night. The carpets in the rooms look like they have never been cleaned . All the furniture looks outdated and nothing matched. They do not offer breakfast which might actually be a blessing because if the rooms are this bad I’m wouldn’t like to see the kitchen.

The bathroom was dirty and not well maintained or cleaned often. And the bed was covered in what seemed to be pubic hairs. We left strait away asking for a refund and was told booking. • Stacey (1/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Wish I could add all the photos - The room was dark at night This dosnt even deserve 1 star!! I would never stay at the Stone House Hotel again. The room was in a terrible state — dirty, unsafe, and nothing like what was advertised. The radiator was hanging off the wall, the toilet wasn’t attached properly, the windows were filthy, and there were holes in the doors covered with sticky vinyl. There was even a blood stain and somthing brown on the bedding, and I stood on something sharp on the floor. Someone tried to get in the room in the middle of the night. The listing said there would be towels, toiletries, a bath, and a coffee/tea machine — none of these were provided. We only had one towel between two people, no toiletries, and the shower looked unhygienic to use. This place is completely misrepresented online, and I had to leave early because of the poor and unsafe conditions. I’ve contacted Booking.com to request a full refund and I contacted the manager who is refusing a refund at all even a partial one. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Looked at rooms they had 2 available room 4 had a headboard that was leaning right across the bed and room 8 had a leak from the ceiling it was like a big balloon ready to drop on us. Lucky we didn’t pay until we got there and seen the rooms and had to find somewhere else to stay because I was not having kids in that hotel or my family but for this when we explained there was a 1 year old and a 9 year old staying is absolutely disgusting! This place needs closed down!!!

• Natalie (1/5): Horrible place, do not stay here - The location was great. The beds were ok and the bedding did smell and look clean. Everything else. We had a family room with bunk beds, which looked nothing like the pictures at all. We were expecting somwthing white and clean looking with nice bunk beds. The room was blue with mish mash wallpaper and paint. Stains all over the carpets. The bunk beds the top one had missing slats across the side and was very rickety and was unsafe to use for my 2 year old. So we had to put take the top maytress and put it on the floor. The en suite was bright yellow and walls unclean. The shower had mould and mildew in it. The toilet stained from God only know what. There were no toiletries actually included. The towels were dirty, tea and coffee facilities were dire, and one little milk pot was there. It's like it had already been used and not replaced. There was a TV with no remote and wouldnt work. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything. The window wouldn't close, so we heard everything from outside. We found an earring near the side table and a nose stud under one of the bed sheets, really not comfortable or hygienic to sleep on. The whole building just smelt musty and in real need of improvement.

• Keiron (6/5): Great weekend away with family - Close to the centre of town, the staff were super friendly, and I had a view of the tower from my room which was very nice for the Illuminations The room was a little tired and not the biggest but very fair for the price

• Baseley (1/5): Not impressed - Nothing, we actually left a day early The hotel was dated, needed doing up. The rooms were unclean. The tv didnt work. There was a kettle and cups but no spoons. The mirrors were cracked.
• Ben (1/5): Shit - The door on the way out After check in could not get hold of staff for any think for 4 days toilet paper or clean towels yes it was cheap but no excuse for the stuff what was bad like toilet didn’t flush had a kettle with only sugar in room and lots of other hygiene problems in room do not use this place booking.com are inorging my complaint aswell

• Laura Novoa (4/5): Affordable place for hardcore travellers - The hotel is very near to the city center and the harbour. Evrything! It's an out dated hotel, not very clean, smelly, and that street where it's located didn't make me feel safe. I came with my kids and really felt unsafe. The pictures provided here are nothing like the real place (or at least my room).
• Clarke (1/5): Absolutely awful - Absolutely nothing good about this property This hotel is AWFUL!! We requested a late check in as we were arriving late to blackpool… The staff there were rude to us and almost didnt let us in. It is unclean and smells awful! The radiator was hanging off the wall, Bed sheets were stained and was just not pleasant. The walls are sooo thin and can hear everyone and everything around! AVOID AVOID AVOID

• 💕Kerry💞 (1/5): - Location was close to everything. Cleanliness the bathroom was dirty, decriating was very poor grubby looked dirty. Carpets were in priced together & not secured properly, toilet was dirt, all walls were dirty how room felt dirty, bed was uncomfortable, quilt was thin, heating did not work room was freezing, did not sleep well, was only given 2x coffee sachets, grubby mugs, no milk, no sugar, door would close properly into the latch so we had to lick ourselves in to feel safe & privacy, tv was tiny would not stand up as still on brackets but bodged to stand up against a wall. 2nd night had no sleep due to room above having 7 guests in untill 6am screaming, shouting, laughing, having sex running up & down the halls & stairs till earlier hours, this has wrecked our whole experience with visiting my family & will not be returning to the area. Extremely disappointed as the pictures on booking.com look completely different different to what we got. Room was tiny with a bed & unit I more room to swing a cat to be honest.
