• Arky (8/5): Loved staying here, pard'ner! - The room was awesome and the bed was super comfortable. I loved how the aesthetic and vibe of the old west was kept intact while also being modern, comfortable, and clean. The canteen was awesome, the shower was perfect, and I didn't miss not having a TV at all. Lots of mosquito hawks in the room and they kept on coming in, no matter what we did. It was springtime, so I get that everything is in bloom, but could definitely use a screen on the windows or some sort of deterrent to keep those buggies out.

• Sarah (10/5): A grand time spent here seeing at show and exploring the area. - What a unique experience. Certainly better than expected. The room was delightfully updated but still had a retro vibe. Tom greeted us in genuine way and even gave us some cookies. Cannot think of anything.

• Robert (6/5): Neat spot adjacent to a historic Western film set but the experience could have been better. - Cute renovated motel with modern bathrooms and nice products. Communal canteen with free coffee and hot chocolate, fruit and pastries in the morning. Concrete floors in the guest rooms that were not clean when we arrived. Requested cleaning on the second day with no improvement.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a nice rustic charm. However, at $400+ per night, I expected more comprehensive amenities. The morning offerings consisted of grocery store donuts and muffins, with an outside vendor selling bagels separately. At this price point, I would have expected a complimentary breakfast included rather than additional charges for basic hotel offerings.

I paid for a room and did not get reimbursed Remote and desolate. Motel faces bar. No TV. 4 miles off main road. Loose door lock. Dimly lit room/bathroom. No 24 hr staff. Did not feel safe or secure. I guess good if going with family or group to “rough it”. I would never have booked it if websites were more descriptive.

• Precilla (10/5): A memorable experience with a friendly atmosphere - Perfect if you plan on going to an event at Pappy and Harriots, the stay at the motel adds to such a memorable time with your loved ones
• Lancaster (10/5): Nice place - A very stylish motel, with stunning views of the mountains and desert, beautifully decorated rooms, and a large, soft bed. The small refrigerator was also handy. But the most important thing was the guitar, which sounded great.

Set on the end of the street of the little town, right across from Pappy & Harriet’s down the road from little shops and Red Dogs, we met some of the coolest people. Definitely going worth the trip!

They went out of their way to ensure that my friend and I were comfortable, had everything we needed, and took the time to chat about the motel and surrounding area. They gave recommendations to other small businesses, and talked to us about the lore of Pioneertown. Just a pleasant experience all around. Nothing. The charm and friendliness of this place and its staff far outshine the location and rustic aesthetic.

• Stefse (10/5): Perfect stay in Pioneertown! - We had a fantastic stay in the Red Cabin It was much more spacious than we thought and the back yard was enormous. Parking is available right beside the cabin. It is also located on the main street in Pioneertown. Perfect for a family!

• Dainius (10/5): Marvelous experience with wild west feelong - Everything! We dressed up and we to the saloon and had a blast with live music. Motel is very well kept up, hosts are incredible, atmosphere is through the roof. Even got to taste some bagels in the morning, in additional to coffee and pastries provided by the Motel. Also spent some time walking around and met a few city residents, loved the talks and laughs Price could be a tiny bit cheaper

Lo staff molto gentile, la signora che ci ha accolto è stata super disponibile. Carina l'idea di una sala comune dove poter prendere l'acqua, caffè e qualche dolcetto se si arriva presto. La posizione è centrale, essendo l'unico motel. Da provare assolutamente!

Il Motel si trova proprio nella piccola Pioneertown e merita assolutamente una visita se di passaggio dalla Yucca Valley. Bellissimo poter guardare il cielo stellato nel silenzio e nel buio più totale. Molto suggestivo.

• KL_Hedberg (10/5): A Peek into the Old West - We are frequent visitors to Pioneertown, but this was our first stay at the Motel. Love the history and location so much. Exceptional spot if you have a show to see at Pappy & Harriet’s too. Walking distance to Main Street and my favorite hi desert bar/eatery Red Dog Saloon. Even caught some of the meteor showers that were happening this week. Stayed in a nice king room. Perfect size. Comfy bed. Great bathroom and amenities and even a mini fridge. We will be back for sure. We love Pioneertown!
