Guest Reviews
- Stephen (9/5): - Marcus was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and went to great effort to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable
- Val (10/5): Great location, very friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful house, room was very nice - Great location, very friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful house, room was very nice
- Tiffany (10/5): - Had a lovely stay thanks to Markus and Kyoko. The B&B was clean, spacious and convenient. Easily walkable to Echoland (even with lots of snow everywhere) and also close walk to 2 bus options (the free shuttle to resorts and hakuba valley). Breakfast was delicious and it was great getting to know Markus and his family. Even though there are set times to use the showers (to be mindful to the other guests) as someone who usually showers late, it was very manageable especially with my room having its own toilet and basin. The showers were also very clean and not once was it not free when I wanted to use it. Markus also provided a lot of useful information to make my Hakuba ski trip as smooth as possible and Kyoko helped booked a taxi when I was leaving so everything was smooth from beginning to end
- Paul (10/5): Great hosts and great spot - Great spot. Just a short walk to everything we needed
- Amanda (10/5): Will definitely be back - Location and size of rooms
- Cherri (8/5): Great cultural experience for
younger folk. - This is a simply marvellous alpine home, pristine cleanliness and totally organised The Japanese style room didn't suit me as an older person with some mobility issues. I would prefer to talk to Marcus directly
- Sarah (10/5): Would definitely stay here again if traveling/skiing Hakuba :-) - Markus and family made us feel very welcome, and were very helpful with information about the local area. Breakfast was a great time to chat with them and the other guests. Lovely accommodation in a pretty and quiet area but also very accessible.
- Mia (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Hakuba, will definitely return - Very clean, great location. Mark and his wife were extremely accommodating and friendly.
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grant (10/5): We had a brilliant time, beautiful property and really friendly B&B. - The breakfast was simple and excellent set us up perfectly for a days skiing.
Very friendly host that went out of there way to help us with anything we needed like organising taxis, transfers etc. Nothing
- Jake (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious room and a great location. The hosts were very nice and welcoming and were great help. If I’m back in Hakuba I would definitely stay here again!
- Marcus (9/5): Superb - Markus and Koyuki were exceptional hosts. Informed, caring and earnest, they really made us feel at home.
- Jason (8/5): Traditional friendly stay - Traditional Japanese home style stay was really nice. Markus and his wife were lovely hosts and provided us with lots of tips and advice around navigating hakuba. Delicious breakfast Showering times limited to certain hours sometimes made plans a little inflexible.
Room was a little cold.
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Morgan (10/5): Exceptional - A great place to stay - super comfortable room with a toilet. Showers are separate from the room but are very clean and private. Breakfast each morning was incredible, and enough to fill us up for a full day on the slopes. Hosts were very friendly and accomodating and assisted with making sure we got correct busses for the different ski fields.
- Nicole (9/5): Will be returning - Nice asthetic, exceptionally clean, well maintained and organised property
Close to ski shuttle stops and short walk to Echoland area.
Breakfast included
Quiet property
- Seamus (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, great owners and very comfortable
- Jake (10/5): Great stay! - Exceptional stay with Markus. It was great to have a loft room with a seperate private sitting area and the space was better than photos. All the facilities you need - hot showers, locks/keycodes, drying room etc. Included breakfast was a lovely addition each morning and a chance to socialise with other guests. The location may be the best part - few minute walk to the heart of echoland, ski rentals and all shuttle pick-up locations. Markus was helpful and knowledgable; organising us lessons and a taxi at one stage too. Will definitely return! Probably wouldn't recommend for people looking to party or solo travellers looking to meet people - although this wasn't an issue for us.
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): Wonderful stay in Hakuba! - We had a lovely time. The location was wonderful and Markus was very helpful with recommendations for ski/board hire etc. Our room was gorgeous and the it is a beautiful B&B with lovely amenities. They are very well set up for snow sports, with a separate entrance and a place to store all your gear. Very close to all the restaurants in Echoland, but was quiet at night. The perfect blend! We would love to stay again if we go back to Hakuba.
- Weili (10/5): Exceptional - Markus and Kyoko are exceptional "Super Host". I really appreciated the warm friendly chats and useful tips given about getting around Hakuba ski slopes, etc. Its a spacious and well kept B&B. Timely email responses were also provided by the host prior to my trip. Definitely recommend and will stay again in my next trip to Hakuba.
- Natalya (10/5): Excellent stay in a beautiful home with perfect weather conditions:-) - The hotel is small and lovely with the most welcoming hosts. It’s conveniently located near several bus stops from where you can get a bus to different skiing spots.
Our room with a loft had plenty of space for the two of us and was warm and comfortable in a traditional Japanese style. Everything was perfect
- Aidan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mijal (10/5): Exceptional - I really enjoyed my stay at B&B Koyuki. Markus and Kyoko were exceptional hosts! They were so friendly, welcoming, and offered great tips and advice for how to make the most of Hakuba. The hotel itself is clean and in a great location. Very easy to get to various bus stops that will take you to the different ski resorts. You can’t do better for the price than B&B Koyuki. I’d stay there again and would highly recommend it!
- Teegan (10/5): Exceptional - We loved staying at B&B Koyuki. The room was traditional, a welcomed introduction to the start of our holiday in Japan. Our hosts were warm, friendly, and attentive. Always there to offer advice or insights into our plans for our stay. We hired ski gear through their recommended affiliation and it was incredibly easy and smooth to organise. Nothing, in particular, to comment on our stay with Koyuki. It was great.
- Thomas (10/5): Very pleasant - Incredibly friendly staff, Markus and Koyuki were super helpful with organising lift tickets, rentals, suggesting food places and more - and were great to chat to. The accomodation itself was clean, well looked after and provided everything necessary. Will be staying here on future trips, thanks! Nothing. Everything was to satisfaction
- Graham (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thai (8/5): Very good -
- Charlie (8/5): Very good -
- Ilke (9/5): Traditional Japanese - Swiss Stay - It’s a great location and easy to walk to the ski shuttles and restaurants. The place is pristine, very clean and so well looked after. Markus (the husband) has everything well thought out with the dry room and the house being eco friendly. The wife is super sweet and helpful.
It was great learning more about the area and Japan from them as they are locals. we really liked that the property was so pristine but we did feel bad to dirty anything or scared that we may damage something cause everything was so well done and perfect inside.
- Seth (10/5): Exceptional -
