• Sandra (2/5): - The 1st room I was in had no cold water only scalding hot water, the TV wouldn't connect with the internet, and the bed felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The next day I was moved to a room with both hot and cold water in the sink of the bathroom, but NO water in the shower and again the bed was awful. This time I could feel every spring in the mattress it was so old. Both rooms were run down and falling apart. I had to buy an air mattress to sleep on and take showers at my sons house. VERY disappointed!!

• Humphrey (8/5): - It is pretty much as described, an old rustic hotel with few modern updates. Operation with little or no onsite staff worked well but some might be uncomfortable with it. There were some plumbing issues that should be addressed. television was old CRT type, but it worked reasonably well.
• LORI (6/5): - Check in was self-service and that was fine. The window air conditioner worked well, and the room as clean. There were a few issues, but by evening, they had fixed them (refrigerator had leaked water, dirt on the wall by the bed) I felt safe. And the other people staying there were friendly and quiet too. The old house reminded me of my Grandma's farm house, so it was cozy to me.

The house is old with little rooms...you get what you pay for so it was worth the price! I would book there again if I traveled back to that area.

• Sarah (4/5): - No staff at reception for check-in or check-out, there was an envelope with my name on it when I arrived with a note and my room key. I did not receive the room I had booked, but I wasn’t fussed as it was only for the night. Fridge was off when I arrived so I had to turn it on and wait for it to cool down, as I am traveling I need to be able to cook my food asap as it has been in a cooler all day. Bathroom was shared and a mess. At one point I went to have a shower and there was a strange liquid all over the floor that I had to clean up myself. Somehow I felt dirtier after getting out of the shower. Parking was available, but limited. I got there late afternoon and found a spot on the street out the front. I left enough room for the car behind me to get out, but then someone practically blocked me in by parking an inch away from the front of my car. I don’t know how they did it without having someone get out of the car and have the driver move closer and closer. Who does that! Anyway, I was glad to be leaving in the morning to say the least.

• Julie (8/5): - It was what we expected. It is a very old place and the room was little but for the price, we knew it would not be that great. It was clean and that is what we wanted. The owner was very nice at check-in. The lobby is very pretty.

• Dennis (10/5): - Hotel has a lot of character. Like Nebraska.. it's not for everyone. If you need to be waited on, it's not for you. Some say its haunted, but I am not scared ( I ain't afraid of no ghost). Hahaha. I liked it. very quiet.
• Sarah (8/5): - This hotel is just what it seems. It is old. It is inexpensive. There are no frills. However, the room was clean. The service was friendly. It was located close to where we needed to be. It definitely worked for what we wanted. The only complaint that I have is that my hotels.com room choice said we would have a private bath. That was not the case. The restrooms are shared among residents on the floor. However, the bathroom was close to my room and it was clean.
• Matthew (6/5): Hotel California vibe - Just do not expect a normal hotel stay. If you want to try something quirky - go for it. Shared bath/shower. The room was tiny, but the bed was comfy and the a/c window unit worked well. I did not see any hotel employee the whole time! There was a hand-written note at the front desk and a key to get into my room. No one at check out either. I just left the key on the front desk.
• DANIEL (4/5): - First impression was disappointing but to put on a happy face and give it a try….. we found an envelope on the front desk and went to our less than expected room kind of unique, with great potential…. But sadly disappointed in the conditions so the shower was “out of order “ and was told via the note in our envelope had a shared shower down the hall. Not what we expected at all. But the bed was clean and comfortable.
• Darren (8/5): Basic accommodations in historical hotel building. - Barebones accommodations in a historic hotel that get the job done, at a good value. Check-in was easy and there were no issues. There were some cleanliness issues with the room - debris on the floor, sheets could probably be replaced, but once again - it's commensurate with the pricing of the property.

• Farrah (2/5): I want a refund - There was a blood stain on the sheets, the bed was sinking in towards the middle, and our fridge was leaking. And they won’t give me a refund even though I didn’t end up staying the night. We left and went to the sleep inn near the airport.

It is old, dirty, no showers in the rooms, no food, totally inconvenient. Opened the window to find a storage area with trash cans and junk piked high. No blinds on the windows for privacy as the curtains didn't completely cover the windows either. Refrigerator didn't work, Would not refer any one to this location. It needs to be completely remodeled and brought up to date to today's traveler's needs.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - If you want to visit Omaha, this is out of the way and a bit of a drive. The place, itself, wasn't terrible, but we had a tiny room to ourselves and a questionable lock. The place is definitely dated. The bathroom is communal and we didn't feel comfortable, so we actually didn't stay and left after a few hours. It's basically a big house with several rooms.

• Kaj (8/5): Perfect Stay Inn has character and good value - The Perfect Stay Inn has character, is quiet and is a good value. They let me into my room 3 hours before they were supposed to. Thanks! Every room is different. I have only been there twice and seen a third room. It is ideally located in the middle of a cute town (however, trucks continually roll down the middle of town, spewing diesel exhaust). It is within 2 or 3 blocks of a number of decent restaurants and a couple of blocks from the residential section of Blair. The sheets were clean and the beds were firm in the rooms Tombstone and Billy the Kid. If you are a neat freak, this may not be your place. The first time I stayed, everything was clean. This last time there was dust and a little detritus in the dresser drawers and on shelves. I don't know if that was because I got there early. I am sure that they would have cleaned things if I had asked them to but it was easier for me to give things a quick wipe. Some rooms have their own bathroom. I took a shared bathroom both times. The last time it worked out well but this time not so well. The other user(s) did not flush the toilet (at least twice?) and the sink was not so clean. It could have been cleaned out more often. The rest of the bathroom was clean. There were some stains on the towels and linen but they looked clean. Tombstone had no closet and no place to hang your clothes. A simple clothes hook on the back of the door would have been good. Warning: rooms are smaller than they look in the photos.

My room had a totally inadequate window a/c unit; I was able to get by because I carry a fan with me in my travels. The room had definitely been smoked in; I used up two cans of Glade during my 2 night stay.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - It's a classic. Soap is nowhere in the bathroom. Smokers leave their packets behind. Its in a quiet neighborhood so sleeping is comfortable.
• Verified traveler (2/5): - The property is old and they did not have anybody around to ask questions. Had to go outside in the hallway to use the bathroom. They told me over the phone and a little note they left with the key that said the shower and tub was on the other side of the headway. I looked for it but did not find it. There is no marking on the few rooms thsy had on the other side of the hallway. Please take this one off your list to avoid future companies.

I figured that I could handle that because I would have a sink in my room for water, brushing teeth & etc. But, my sink was out of order so it was extremely inconvenient. I stayed 4 nights and my room was never cleaned and no new towels brought up. Would I stay there again? Maybe. The price is hard to beat. Next time I’ll know what to expect.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Very old style hotel, it was a unique experience! Never saw any staff members which was fine, there was a phone number to call if you needed anything and notes left also, where to find items you might need.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - If you like staying hotels that are out of the norm, then this is perfect for you. Having been burned in the past, trying to save a dollar or two on a nights lodging, I was a bit hesitant about this stay. BUT, it could have not been better. It was great. Would definitely stay here again should the need arise.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Tv was old and made horrible sounds. The shower took forever to heat up and barely dripped. The bed was hard. The sign at front desk said to call a number to have someone come up front to check us in. Aside from that two minute exchange, we were there two days and never saw another employee. Strange experience to say the least. Will never return.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - This is an old building that has been redone bit by bit. Rooms are efficient with bed, tv and sink. The bathroom is shared. I only stayed one night, but never encountered any other guests or competition for the bathroom. I think the bed was pretty comfortable, but probably a bad judge since I had been driving many hours and was tired enough to sleep on a concrete slab! There is an old radiator for heat, but I did not see any way to control it.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - The building was build in the mid 1800's which makes it a cool place to stay, it was old but clean but not a place for everyone. If you are on of the many whiny travelers that prefer the upper end hotels this is not for you.

• Thalia (10/5): - The personal service and going the extra mile for me to leave my key and directions after hours for a late checkin. The old Hotel was very clean and freshly painted. The continental breakfast was awesome! Never had such a pleasant place to stay for the price. Water pressure was not good and the a/c unit in suites was too small for the area.

• Thalia (8/5): - A very reasonably.priced place to stay. Manager Wendy ALWAYS exceeds our expectations in service, cleanliness, continental breakfast and going above and beyond what any other Motel Manager would. I would reccomend this hotel as one of the best places to stay for the price. Yes some rooms dont have their own bathroom but are close to one in the hallway. Other guests are curteous and respectful. All in all a clean quiet place to stay.
