• Pauly69 (3/5): - Large size bedroom & comfortable beds. Reception staff, felt like I was in a concentration camp. I have never experienced so many rules & regulations. Signs everywhere threatening corkage fees will apply if you bring any food or drink in from outside of resort but you only get 1 small bottle of water per day ! They even had a sign saying which type of shorts you can & can't wear as swimming pool attire. No foreigners at hotel, just mainly locals from outside using the pool all day. LOUD karaoke early in the morning's. I would never return here. Thankfully I only booked 2 nights.
• RichardGH (9/5): My stay was practically perfect and I wish I had booked to stay for longer. - The Espacio Verde is a first class hotel with a swimming pool and poolside restaurant. I first visited the hotel in August 2019 and enjoyed the lush garden and peaceful ambience as I did again this week. As a visitor to Roxas to meet my local wife and her family I need somewhere comfortable, calm and quiet in order to relax. Thank you. A lighter weight bed cover/duvet would be better than the heavy covers provided. As a British person, I get hot easily in thr tropics and sleep better under a lightweight cover.

• Anonymous (9/5): Probably the best hotel in Roxas - Quiet location opposite 7-11 and laundry. Room size generous with balcony on to attractive gardens. English breakfast cooked to perfection (till 10:30) and evening meal excellent too. Free courtesy van to-from airport. Housekeeping came daily during breakfast. Resort is closer to Baybay than city centre. Pool with 2 slides and poolside restaurant. Trikes pass all day long. Extra person P300/day. Beds very comfortable... ...but pillows hard. Shower lukewarm and no bath. Safe a little small. Little to fault.

Staff is very welcoming and fulfilling orders swiftly. The food at the pool side is great and affordable. Very large pool is perfect for swimming, the kids enjoyed this quite a lot.

The terrible wifi connection from our room (121) which was not that super important and some broken parts in the bathtub and shower.
• Marymay (10/5): Perfect location for transit, helpful and friendly staff. - Location is perfect for family getaway and transit 15 minutes away from the Culasi Port. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Food is okay, not great. you have to order an hour in advanced because they take a long time to serve. there are ants in our sink. i asked to move to another room, but housekeeping just cleaned and sprayed it, the next day, there are ants again. be careful when housekeeping clean your room, make sure they dont take any of your towels and robes. they charged us 1,800 for a missing bath robe which we didnt take, we didnt take it out the room either. and upon check out, it was missing. Keep an eye on the staff when they clean the room. there was one time also that someone was trying to get in our door. There is no microwave and small space for fridge. Only the great part is the huge pool that’s it. Will not come back again to this hotel.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The resort is an older facility but clean and everything I expected. Highly recommended. Coffee wasn't included in the bed and breakfast offer. It should be included in the deal.

• Deo (8/5): - Great amenities for family with young kids, and room is sizable with a large bath. The beds and bedding are 5-star quality. The kids loved the large pool with 2 slides. Although the breakfast buffet is just ok, the restaurant food selections for lunch and dinner are affordable and very tasty. We suggest that the free breakfast be ala carte rather than buffet. Also, the rooms and patio area should be cleared of mosquitos daily.

• LUZCEL (8/5): - Th resort is aesthetically beautiful. The rooms are meticulously designed. The surroundings are clean. They have a big pool, though we didn’t use it, is a good amenity to have for families traveling with kids. The staff are very courteous and accommodating. We enjoyed dining at Abuelo, one of the 2 restaurants on site. Having a free shuttle to and from the airport is a plus. You can also avail of their drop off and pick up service to different sites for a fee.

• Harvey (10/5): Serene, cozy, and exquisite -- a must try when in Roxas. - My suite was facing the mangrove lagoon. Lounging by the veranda was a very serene experience. You could hear the soft raindrops, birds chirping, and the river slowly flowing. The room was extra cozy and comfy. The bathroom was exquisite. The coffee pod machine was an extra added bonus for my already very satisfied experience. All the staff and interns were also very kind and accommodating. Just one tiny bit that could be improved is the bath tub. The lock of the drain was not working and so I wasn't able to use the tub.

Once was room service and other was a call to achedule massage services. I also know they are under renovations in some areas. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Good amenities offered and breakfast was worth it as well
• Kara (10/5): Excellent hotel; highly recommend!! - Booked an overnight stay as part of a family trip to the Philippines. Excellent location, friendly and efficient staff! The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, and the rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was excellent, air conditioning worked well, and satellite TV had lots of choices. There was a small refrigerator and coffee machine in the room and bottled water was provided as well. Restaurant located on the property had a decent selection of good food. Swimming pool and kayaking available on-site, although I did not use these facilities. Overall, I highly recommend this resort! I liked everything!!

• richard (4/5): - The hotel is too remote and lacks outside facilities to walk or sit. In fact I was banned by an over zealous staff from walking on the track around the golf course There is no where for residents to stroll outside. The hotel has many restrictive rules and is not value for money.

• Jhon (6/5): Its okay but not the 4.X/5 claimed. - Cons: Every time our group ordered our meals, they would forget at least 1 of the items we ordered. A few time they charged us extra. They were also often out of ingredients so we could never get everything our party of 4 wanted (e.g no Halo Halo, no crab, no certain fish, etc.). The shower glass only covered less than half the shower length and no sliding door so the floor outside the shower always got wet. Not much to do in the vicinity of the resort area unless you take a tricycle or other vehicle to the city center (~20p). Pros: The room was spacious and felt very homey. The beds were also very comfy. The pool was great and not too cold. There is rentable space if you need to bring a large group.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - Terrible service = went for a swim at their pool and asked for a towel was told they did not have any but will get one for me. Enjoyed a swim in their extra large pool area and after 1/2 hour decided to lay out b the pool. Asked again for a towel was told they did not have any. Decided to leave the pool area and return to our suite. Half way back to the room and a girl came running up to me with a towel, I told her it was too late and I had asked for one over 30 minutes ago. She just laughed and l told her that is was not funny and they have provided horrible service to a registered quest. Upon return to the suite the room key did not work had to call the front desk and had to wait for over 30 minutes for maintenance to come by to repair and reset the door lock. For a newer establishment you would think they would provide better service. Very nice hotel but terrible service!!

The amenities are good.we loved the abaca slippers, the good smelling toiletries, and the CBTL coffee and tea !!! They have a bathtub ! THe food is good, ranked 3rd in the vicinity! THe place is private enough. love this place, plan to go back .

THIS is a VERY well...manicured, quiet, friendly, & above all, sensually appealing villa-style hotel in the region of the Philippines that, honestly, does not get visited all that much...AS for me, I'll CERTAINLY be back...& staying a LOT longer than 3 days as I did this time!!! TOTALLY the kind of place that makes the memories...Unforgettable!

• Eunice (10/5): Great Resort in the city of Roxas City - There was nothing much to fault about this hotel. My partner and I were booked on a flight to Kalibo, but did not realised Boracay was still closed on our dates there. So we researched and found this resort in Roxas City about 2 hours away from Kalibo. The Reservations Manager, Frankie, responded to us promptly and quickly when asked how to get there from Kalibo. When we arrived early in Kalibo and got on a van earlier than expected, I sent an email to them again asking to be picked up at about 1230pm instead of the initial 1pm in Pueblo Terminal, he responded quickly again and to our pleasant surprise, the van was there at 1205pm when we arrived! Check in was super fast, the fastest I ever experienced! The room was extremely clean and well-kept. The whole resort surroundings was quiet and peaceful. Even when the pool area receives guests from the public over the weekend, it was not overly crowded and the music played was good. Food was good, and staff were all polite n not overly so. There were a few outstanding ones, and the restaurants serve great food too. It was truly a great place to get away for the weekend from busy Manila. We are so happy with the place that my partner and I are planning when to go back back next! Well done, Espacio Verde, you are truly a gem in the provinces of Philippines. I highly recommend the resort to anyone who wants to have a peaceful break from the city.

• Verified traveler (8/5): ゆったり快適 - 今回で５、６回目の滞在になります。 場所は空港から車で10～15分程で、しない中心から少し西の外れに位置します。 ホテル周辺にはコンビニもなければお店も有りません。 ホテルは名前の通り、リゾート施設となっており、プールやラグーンを併設したヴィラタイプの施設です。 レストランを３つ要し、プールサイドに有り、食事や飲み物をオーダーしながらゆったりとした時間を過ごせます。 ホテルスタッフはフレンドリーで、フロントを要したエントランス建物は天井も高く、貝殻を使った伝統的な工芸品で溢れ、シャンデリアも必見です。 チェックインは非常にスムーズで、冷たいお絞りとウェルカムドリンクでもてなされます。 今回案内されたら部屋はラグーン側で、広目のバルコニーに２台のキングサイズベッド(ベッドは柔らかくなく私には非常に快適な寝心地)で、清潔なリネンで整えられています。 空調も自由に調節でき、テレビも多数チャンネル、テーブルセット、コーヒーメーカー等もあり充実しています。 独立したシャワーとバスタブを要しており、清潔でアメニティも充実しています。 朝食はブッフェスタイルで品数は多くないですが、ガーリックライス、スープ、カルボナーラ、ロンガニーザ、白身のフライ、スクランブルエッグ、コンビーフ、シリアル、フレッシュフルーツ、コーヒー、ホットチョコレート、紅茶、ミルク、フレッシュジュース等々。 早朝にチェックアウトされる場合、事前に伝えれば、ボリュームあるサンドイッチ等のリクエストが出来ます。 空港への送迎サービスも有ります。 カップル、ファミリーには非常におすすめのホテルです。

• Verified traveler (10/5): My first choice for future trips to Roxas City. - Great place to stay and relax if not for the occasional loud and irritating sound from loudspeakers coming from the community outside the resort/hotel. It appears that management can not do anything to stop or control the events outside the resort area.
• kamal (6/5): Good hotel, but... - 1. Location is in the middle of nowhere 2. The air conditioner is placed directly facing the bed. It blasts cold air on you. If you shut it, it is too hot to sleep, if left on , it is cold air blasts you...I had 4 sleepless nights 3. I complained to the front desk...they said the Manager will get back to you. Nobody did. After the 3rd sleepless I went looking for the manager. Nice guy, came to the room and made ineffective adjustments which did not solve the issue. He did not offer to change my room. Or offer any other form of token compensation...or offer to waive my early check in charge......but did say sorry....he did say that other guests have complained about this too.

• Sharon (10/5): Review of Espaco Verde - The staff was so nice and accommodating. The location of the hotel was back so you can't hear the traffic of the main road. The hotel has a spa and exercise room under construction which will be great to use when we come back to the hotel.
• Aleden (8/5): Very spacious and comfortable - Aside from miscommunication between staffs regarding airport pick up (failed to pick us up) and a big heavy tile dropping onto my foot from a loose fitting bathtub tile, the service by staff members are very good and the room otherwise is the biggest room I've ever seen compared to many other 4 or 5 stars hotel I've been. Aside from the initial mishaps, overall the our stay was pleasant. I would still come back.

• Verified traveler (10/5): ゆったり、清潔 - 3回目の滞在ですが。roxasに来た時の常宿としてます。 スタッフは皆親切で、今回携帯充電器を忘れた為、リクエストしたら直ぐに部屋まで届けに来てくれました。また、予めサービスのミネラルウオーター2本が有りますが、水をリクエストした時もピッチャーで用意してくれました。 部屋は清潔で快適。広さも十分で4人掛けのテーブルセットが有ります。 ベッドはキングサイズで寝心地も良かったです。 テレビはケーブルテレビで多数チャンネルが楽しめます。 ホテル自体はプール併設のリゾート施設で、部屋はコテージ風となっていて、とても静かな環境です。 町の中心からは少し離れていますが、非常にお勧めなホテルです。
• Verified traveler (8/5): 食事以外は大満足 - 場所は空港からトライシクルで10分程。 周りには何もありません。コンビニも有りませんので，チョコレートなど夜に甘いものが欲しくなる様な方は事前に購入される事をおすすめします。 とは言っても10~15程の所にRobinsonがあります。 ホテルの部屋はゆったりとした造りで清潔感もありアメニティやドライヤーも整っています。 エリア内にはプールやスライダーがあり子供達が遊べる設備が整っています。 敷地内にラグーンが有り，その周りをぐるっと回れるようになっており，ちょっとした庭園もあります。 スタッフはフレンドリーでもあり礼儀も正しく，部屋に設置してある珈琲メーカーの使い方が分からなく電話した所，直ぐに駆けつけて対応して頂きました。 また空港への送迎は無料でした。 設備やスタッフなどは申し分無かったですが，唯一食事はあまり評価出来ないです。 私がRoxasに行く際は必ず宿泊したいと思いますが，食事は外で摂ると思います。 他にも宿泊した事はありま有りますが，Roxasでは一番のホテルだと思います。 ご家族連れで行かれる事をお勧めします。

The staff were always helpful, the rooms were very clean with beautiful decor, the scenery and swimming were great too. A great stay and was more than happy with the price. Fun novelty for kids of seeing the frogs come out at night

My only issues were that the electricity and wifi kept going out due to a storm which was very frustrating; not the hotel fault. The cost of the shuttle van is very expensive if you want to leave the property. Definitely felt taken advantage of for the prices they charged; almost NYC cab fares which was a bit disappointing. The bright side is that the hotel is very comfortable and by far the best on the island. As a Western traveler, this is a great choice as it has all the modern day comforts. Also, the staff is very helpful and warm. The food is pretty good.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome Place - Maybe there should be a pool just for adults and a nice jacuzzi spa also just for adults. But great for families which that is who I brought. I would like to see a golf cart for seniors, like one of my family members.
