Guest Reviews
- PAUL (10/5): - Great and quiet place.
- William (8/5): - The property and restaurant are both really good, but the area around it is largely dilapidated and not much to do.
- James (10/5): - The lady at front desk with braces, she is so sweet. All the time smiling and happy. God bless her.
- James (10/5): - Excellent place to stay and staff is great and very helpful. Thanks Sagara.
- Pierre (6/5): Weekend trip - Hotel is quiet old not up to date.
The stuff was very friendly and pool is clean.
The free breakfast was a typical Philipino style. Dry fish with rice and terrible coffee.
As European I not recommend this hotel
Because of food.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Private facility along private road; only slight inconvenience was the restaurant last order was until 7pm only.
- michael (10/5): Gem in Subic Bay - Nice location. Exceptional staff. Very clean and up to date. Subic can be hit and miss. Segara is a hit. Special recognition to Janice at the front desk for her professionalism and caring attitude.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I really liked that it was quiet and secure space
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Property is near relatives residencies and accessible to church, restaurants.
- Dean (8/5): - Room is nice size, bed is comfortable, flat screen t.v. is older and the screen has ghosting, so not good. Mostly clean except a HUGE cockroach ran across the floor when we entered the room after going to dinner. Dinner at the reataurant was nice... good food. We ate at the outside bar next to the pool. Very nice little pool bar.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Overall, the facility is nice. If you want a peace and tranquility, then its a suitable place to stay. However, my issue is not about the facility but with expedia on which i booked a room w/ 2 double beds, then suddenly a receptionist at the hotel called me, informing that the room i booked and paid was no longer available and instead, offered me a room with queen sized bed.
- Rachelle (10/5): - This will definitely be our go-to-place whenever we are in Subic. Love love it! :-)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Within walking distance to shopping area like Harbour Point Mall and others within Subic Bay Free Zone. Also, Victoria Liner bus will bring you drop you at Harbour Point Mall.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved the stay, staff are amazing. Place is beautiful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Limited food choices - The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. The bedroom that we got was nice and big. Our room and other hotel facilities are always kept clean and well-maintained. I was looking forward to a much-awaited, well-deserved massage in their Balinese-inspired spa, only to find out that it's now closed. We booked for a double deluxe room, but our 2 kids were still charged around P900/head per night even though we didn't avail of their extra bed nor extra breakfast. The package included breakfast for 2, though, so hubby & I had no choice but to take our breakfast there. We didn't avail of their set breakfast for our kids anymore after our first day as they offer very limited choices (which our kids didn't like), and I thought paying P412 for a simple plate of bland bacon, egg & rice is pricey. Breakfast is normally just a set meal. They only serve buffet if they have enough occupancy for the day, but the food choices are almost the same everyday. I think their lunch & dinner restaurant menu is also somewhat pricey. Overall, our stay in Segara was ok, but I hope they could do something about their limited food choices and pricing.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice place - I really liked my stay there the staff was really friendly and inviting! I wish it was closer to my friends house i would have spent my whole time there.
- Joanne (10/5): Comfy hotel at a great price. - The hotel is so clean and smells good all the time. The room is so nice and the beds are comfy.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice and Quite Stay at Segara Suites. - Segara Suites was a nicely located resort hotel tucked away in one end of Subic Bay freeport along a private road by the port. Generally comfortable accommodations with good sized rooms and bath. Pool was a big plus in a quite section among the villas. Another plus factor were the shaded parking slots given the hot and humid summer weather when we were there. Location is perfect for short drives to restaurants and shopping stores nearby. Breakfast at hotel was standard and for a place trying to be upscale, it didn't serve the objective of offering coffee with plastic stirrers instead of regular teaspoons. We could have had a nice view of the pool from the restaurant except for the table beside the window with a high back cover couch obstructing the whole view.
- bernadette (10/5): - segara is a very nice boutique hotel. the interiors are nice and the food served was in generous quantity. the pool is also nice because my 3yo can walk on the kiddie pool as her feet touch the ground. will definitely come back. its just a little bit pricey. i think 5k flat would be a reasonable price for the suites
- Paresh (6/5): - Overall Nice property and clean and good room. However I was entitled to two complimentary breakfast. I had mentioned in my booking that I would prefer some vegan options however on checking at the Buffet apart from steamed rice and toast there was nothing vegan...on asking if they could serve me something else...it was declined but politely so I went out to another hotel for breakfast. We did inform the cashier at check out about this . Overall 10,000/- pesos for a room with no proper breakfast ...and no options given...I am not sure if its ready for vegan International customers.
