Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren schon zum 2. Mal hier (Feb 26) und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

• Jake (10/5): A quiet, comfortable and modern homestay with friendly hosts in central Chiang Mai - We initially only booked for one night, but having found lots to do in Chiang Rai, decided to stay for two. The quiet, spacious and comfortable room we enjoyed at Baan Jaru definitely contributed to this decision. It's a great place to stay in central Chiang Rai. The homestay is a 10 minute walk from the central bus station and clocktower areas of Chiang Rai. This means there are plenty of food and drink options nearby. Our lovely host - Tony(?), sorry for bad spelling - gave us a map on arrival with several recommendations in the local area and further afield which were all great. The facilities at the homestay were great. Room was light, spacious and modern with a nice seating area at the front. The breakfast buffet was fresh, healthy and tasty, and we enjoyed the freshly made eggs that accompanied it. No complaints - everything was great.

Lo mejor fueron los mapas e información que nos entregó su dueño, muy dedicado a explicar todo y buena recomendaciones de restaurantes. Tiene un perrito muy tierno y educado ! Sin duda volvería. .

L'ambiance est particulièrement agréable, le personnel est très aimable et disponible tout en étant discret. Nous avons eu plein d'excellents conseils et avons pu découvrir des endroits que nous n'aurions pas trouvés seuls.

L'accoglienza, la cortesia, le indicazioni sulle cose da vedere e sui servizi, il sorriso sempre presente e la disponibilità per qualsiasi richiesta. Dovessi tornare a Chiang Rai prenoterei di nuovo qui. Un "semplice" B&B come questo aiuta ad entrare nell'atmosfera di un posto delizioso come Chiang Rai molto meglio di un hotel a 5 stelle. Nulla.

Das Kissen war mir persönlich zu hoch, aber das ist individuell … Es war sauber, es gab einen Föhn und Duschgel etc. Der Besitzer und das Personal waren alle sehr hilfsbereit. Auch beim Buchen von Ausflügen. Nichts, es war gut wie es war! Traut keinem bettelnden Mönch in der Frühe! Die ziehen von Hotel zu Hotel … Mönche betteln aber nicht!!!!

• Urszula (9/5): Bardzo polecam to miejsce zamiast dużego hotelu - Bardzo fajne miejsce, położone w samym centrum a jednak trochę na uboczu tak że nie słyszy się hałasów z ulicy. Pokój bardzo czysty, dobrze urządzony, duże i wygodne łóżko. Dla mnie poduszki ciut za twarde ale myślę że to kwestia preferencji. W pokoju jest wszytko co porzecza, czajnik, filiżanki, kawa i herbata, suszarka do włosów, ręczniki, płyn pod prysznic i szampon. Pokój bardzo czysty i codziennie sprzątany na życzenie. Wystarczy powiesić na klamce życzenie posprzątania pokoju. W okolicy znajdzie się wszystko: masaże, sklepy, targ. Wszystko w takich odległościach że spokojnie można przejść na nogach. Śniadania podstawowe: 3 zestawy do wyboru: 2 jajka sadzone lub jajecznica lub omlet. Do tego zawsze w zestawie podane są duszone warzywa, dwa duże tosty z białego pieczywa, masło, dżem. Oprócz tego do śniadania są przynajmniej 2-3 rodzaje owoców, które nakłada się samemu. Oprócz tego sok, woda, kawa i herbata. Porcję nie są ograniczone inne ale mi w zupełności wystarczyły i czułam się bardzo najedzona. W pokoju jest oczywiście klimatyzacja którą można regulować. Gdybym się miała tak na siłę do czegoś przyczepić to pokój jest trochę ciemny ( pokój 3/2 na parterze) ale mi osobiście to nie przeszkadzało bo przy panujących obecnie upałach to że nie wpadało do niego bezpośrednio słońce było zbawienne, poza tym w pokoju jest bardzo dobre oświetlenie. Telewizor - niestety nie ma zaprogramowanych żadnych kanałów i nie da się ich ustawić. I piszę to nie dla tego że chciałam coś specjalnego oglądać ale zawsze przy pobytach w hotelach sprawdzam wszystko żeby dać ewentualnie wskazówki dla innych podróżnych. Przy biurku/blacie krzesło które tam jest jest tak niskie że nie dało się na nim siedzieć żeby swobodnie dosięgnąć blatu i popracować na komputerze. Ale ostatecznie przeniosłam się z komputerem na tarasik przed jadalnią gdzie rano serwowane są śniadania.

I wanted to custom my own half day trip tour instead of those, then he kindly helped me to conduct the plan and how to explain to the grab driver.

Conveniently located and easy walking distance to Sat night market and Night Bazaar. The staired bed was a bit awkward for me to get up. I'd like to see a hand soap dispenser in the bathroom.

There is also seating outside on a balcony for relaxing, with great plants all around. We were given a very warm welcome and lots of useful information about the area. All the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good and included in the price. The accomodation is good value for money and we would recommend.
