• Tracey (8/5): Out of the main huddle and bustle. - Nice enough - we were the only people staying at that location - obvious that the great Orange buffoon (DJT) is making it difficult for some of the world’s economy to thrive. Breakfast included - freshly prepared.

• Daniel (10/5): - What a wonderful hotel, beautiful views of the lake, monkeys swinging in the trees close by, a breakfast that had more food than I could eat but best of all was how friendly all of the staff were throughout my stay. They are a credit to the hotel and Sri Lanka Showers take 5 minutes to warm up so plan accordingly

• Daria (10/5): Отличное место для осмотра города при случае вернусь - Роскошное место положения прям рядом с смотровой площадкой вид бесподобный на канди, спуститься ногами к озеру и к дворцу легко наверх ездили на тук туке, отель делает завтрак все нашли и для детей и для вегетарианцев, чай кофе. Можно заказать ужин и мы после долгого пути заказали обед который нам очень быстро приготовили. Кари, рис быстро и вкусно. Номер большой светлый, утром приходили на балкон обезьяны. У нас был номер с 3 кроватями для меня и 2их детей.

• John (8/5): Budget friendly & in good location - Good location, great view of the lake. Really friendly staff who went out of their way to help. We basically got what we paid for, so breakfast was ok, nothing special.

• Krzysztof (7/5): Good - Just good place for one night in Kandy, but to be honest with great view on lake and city. Breakfast basic, but fresh and tasty. Be aware of monkeys - for sure reception team will remaind it to you. Good price and quality ratio.

The behavior of the Manager was not good as we reached at hotel at 1 pm before speaking to hi hotel and confirmation to visit by 1 pm. We were not allowed to stay by the Manager. He was so rude with kids.

• Dr (2/5): worse service with scam - worse experience with this hotel. as we were mentioned in the booking they didn’t give breakfast. they didn’t mention the breakfast is not given two person. all of sudden when we went for breakfast the manager said no breakfast for two person. the food also average and over priced. please better avoid or if you can’t better ask everything in detail before checking in.

• Pavel (8/5): Nice stay in Kandy - Beautiful view on the lake. The opportunity for late check-in, because we have arrived at 10 pm. Nice breakfast. Free laundry! But the quality of washing was not so good, the spots on the clothes were still there after washing. One of the managers knew English well. There were no rooms with full beds on the second floor so we decided to stay on the first floor. The view was still pretty good. But wi-fi almost didn't work on the first floor because the wi-fi router was on the second floor. There was no shampoo and shower gel. And by the way, it was a bit difficult to go up the hill to get to the hotel from the city center. But the view was definitely worth it. One of the managers didn't know English well.
• Eran_australia (1/5): Check with the property about room beddings before you go there - Nothing special Rooms they advertised in booking.com are not exists in real. Rooms haven't got right number of beds. They blamed to booking.com but I don't think the mistake has done by the booking.com.

• Joy (8/5): Nice Views - The best thing about this place is the view overlooking the lake and city. We caught the train from Colombo to Kandy and decided to take a tuk tuk to the hotel. Make sure you don’t pay anymore than 300 Rupees. (It’s all uphill so I think they charge more) The people at the hotel said it should be 200 rupees going to the train station. People in the hotel were very friendly & helpful. We were allowed to check into our room early, which was really good. Overall the hotel is in an ‘ok condition’ Very basic rooms, seemed clean with A/C (thankfully) Bathroom was a little rundown, with an open shower style (Basically can have a shower while sitting on the toilet) Basic Breakfast included and served on the rooftop which has a nice view. For the price we paid, it’s actually not too bad. Would give a 3.5 to 4 star rating out 5. Don’t expect too much, I think that’s better. Stayed only 1 night in Kandy. We didn’t really enjoy the city too much. Found the locals quite rude & harassing us all the time. Not really any good places to eat either.
• Leif (10/5): Høyt og fritt med flott utsikt. - Vi var veldig fornøyd med oppholdet. Fra balkongen var det flott utsikt over byen.det var stille og rolig, og lett vei ned til byen. Maten var god og servicen upåklagelig. Rommet var rent og pent. Kan absolutt anbefale dette hotellet til andre.

• David (10/5): - We had 4 nights at the Kandy Supreme, it has a great location and a fantastic view of the lake. It’s a 10 minute walk into town via a short cut. The staff were very friendly and would go out of their way to help you. The buffet breakfast was great, the room spacious and clean with WiFi and hot water. I would definitely recommend this budget hotel.
• Gopinath (10/5): Pricey but worth it. - Location was good. 1km from tooth Relic temple. View point is just 200 mts away. You can see the Kandyan dance at YMBA which is 5 minutes walk. The 2 floors are below ground. There are no lifts. Breakfast was good and is served at the restaurant on first floor. Rooms are clean. Each room has electric kettle. 2 booties of water,coffee and tea bags are provided. Staff are very helpful.

• Ken (8/5): 学校が目の前の立地のため、現地を感じたいなら早朝の騒音も気にならないでしょう。 - レイクビューであれば、仏歯寺が望める素晴らしい景観。 ウエルカムドリンクは、ちょっと甘いけど疲れたところにありがたいですね。 エレベータが無いので、スーツケースは運んでくれました。(チップは不要でよかった？) まずまず清潔で、エアコンも快適。ホットシャワーの湯量もGood。但し翌朝はお湯が出ず。。。 朝食は普通に美味しかった。スリランカオムレツと沢山のフルーツ。セイロンティーかな？ バイキングでなくても十分お腹になりました。 但し、ここからは要注意な周辺環境を。 ホテルから丸見えの目の前に、女子校があり、朝7時過ぎからブラスバンドの練習が鳴り響き、7時半からは全校朝礼やらダンスやら、合掌やらで賑やかで、とても寝れる状況ではありません。 私達は幸いにも、日本から到着翌朝の時差が3時間半もあったので、7時前には起きて、逆にスリランカの学校風景を眺めることができて、逆に騒音とは感じずに、その環境を楽しむことができました。 平日に朝を迎える宿泊の方はご注意くださいませ。 周囲には、お猿さんが出てきて、私は楽しめました。

• Verified traveler (6/5): Dated with views - The hotel is perched on a hill so it has a good view from the restaurant and some rooms. It's a fairly quick albeit steep walk up a shortcut from the lake. However, it seems to be popular with Arab tourists who smoke in their rooms and hallways are filled with cigarette smoke. The decor is very dated and feels like a hotel out of the 70s but it's reasonably priced and I suppose it's okay for a night. We had a monkey break-in and enter situation so make sure you keep balcony doors locked, not just closed - they'll rifle though luggage, open bags and create a mess. The Burmese office manager is friendly and chatty.

• Janina (8/5): Excellent view of Kandy and Lake. - Excellent staff and great continental breakfast. Staff went over and above duties even ironed my clothes free of charge. Monkeys come right on to the hotel balcony so if you like monkeys its a get up personal and close experience
• Verified traveler (6/5): マネージャーのプロ意識がない - ホテルのレストランではアルコール類は扱っていないとのことで夕食は他のレストランにした。 朝食は初日は注文を聞きに来ていろいろ選択した。かなりの待ち時間がかかった。2日目の朝食はブッフェスタイルだったが、従業員が言わないので昨日のように待っていたら後からの客がきたら各料理のふたを開けてブッフェスタイルとわかった。不愉快であった。 バスシャワールームでシャワーカーテンがなくて便器の方までシャワーがかかるので困る 洗面台で排水しないので担当者を呼んで排水溝に石鹸がつまっていたことがわかったので担当者が除去しよう作業していたらマネージャーが少し流れるようになったので中止させた。こういうことだから、サービスが改善しない。

• Tom (8/5): Decent budget hotel in a good location - Stayed two separate times in the same week. The first time it was excellent. The second time the room was not as clean and the service was was not as good. A tale of two stays.

• Tamara (4/5): Not impressed - Do not recommend. The service was terrible. We requested a basic Sri Lankan breakfast of coconut sambol, fried egg and bread and they grumbled. The place is dirty and smelly. Not value for money. Too expensive for what you recveive.
