The 500 year old building has kept its charm and the rooms and the hotel common areas were clean and tastefully renovated. The friendly staff were very professional and helpful with our first visit to Florence. The mattress on the bed was very firm and uncomfortable for us and the terrace could do with a sprucing up. Other than that the hotel and staff were wonderful.

Nous avons adoré l’emplacement, idéal pour découvrir la ville à pied, ainsi que l’atmosphère élégante et raffinée du lieu. L’extérieur comme l’intérieur sont magnifiques, avec une décoration chic et chaleureuse qui respecte parfaitement l’esprit du palais. La chambre était très belle, spacieuse et parfaitement calme grâce à sa vue sur la cour intérieure. Le personnel, discret mais toujours disponible, a été particulièrement agréable tout au long du séjour. L’arrivée dans le palais est déjà une expérience : on franchit une grande porte majestueuse avant de découvrir une superbe cour intérieure ornée de peintures murales. L’hôtel se situe à l’étage et l’on y accède grâce à un magnifique petit ascenseur ancien qui ajoute encore plus de charme à l’endroit. La prise en charge de notre véhicule à notre arrivée jusqu'à notre départ a été un vrai plus. Un lieu authentique, romantique et plein de caractère, qui a largement contribué à rendre notre week-end à Florence inoubliable. Le seul point plus décevant concernait le petit-déjeuner. L’idée du plateau proposant un petit-déjeuner sucré complet était pourtant très séduisante, avec fruits frais, jus de fruits, confitures, pain et gâteaux. Malheureusement, la qualité des produits n’était pas vraiment à la hauteur du standing du lieu. Le croissant, notamment, ne semblait pas du jour et l’ensemble manquait un peu de raffinement. De plus, les serviettes de table étaient en papier et non en tissu, un détail certes, mais qui contraste avec l’élégance et le niveau de prestation attendu dans ce type d’établissement. Compte tenu du prix de la chambre et du niveau général de l’hôtel, on peut légitimement s’attendre à une expérience petit-déjeuner plus soignée et qualitative. Autre point à améliorer : l’équipement de la salle de bain, qui semblait assez minimaliste pour un établissement de cette catégorie. Seuls deux petits flacons de gel douche et de shampoing étaient mis à disposition, sans autres produits ou attentions particulières auxquels on pourrait légitimement s’attendre dans un hôtel de ce standing. L’absence de chaussons et de peignoirs a également été un peu surprenante et contraste avec le raffinement général du lieu.

Nine rooms in total which lead to a personal experience. The decor was pleasant on the eye and the attention to detail was tasteful. The breakfast (sweet) was very pleasant which varied each day. The staff were friendly and extremely attentive There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like it was an amazing stay

Excellent old Florence building, with courtyard w/ frescoes, statues and fountain. The terrace off of the breakfast room was relaxing in the afternoons and a nice place to start our days. Coffee/tea available around the clock. The property offers a personal feel. I’d definitely stay here again. Half shower door caused the bathroom floor to get wet.

Det var ellers et stort og pænt værelse med et flot badeværelse, men det føltes lidt afkoblet. Vi vil en anden gang vælge et af de regulære værelser oppe på hotellets gange (for vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage)

Staff told me the morning off the booking that the baby got wont fit in the room I’ve booked despite my cot request being approved. Which was an inconvenience, I was happy to upgrade the room but it was fully booked, staff didn’t help to provide any solution.

Good communication from the property in the days before and during our stay. Very clean. A little fur coat, no knickers. Beautiful building but room was a little tired (marks on walls, skirting boards broken, light fittings loose on wall, tv didn’t work, no shower door). Extremely clean though in room - bathroom was lovely (except the missing door), and the room was cleaned every day.

- Olivia (9/5): Parfait ! Merci nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. - L'emplacement est très bien ni trop central donc calme mais à proximité de tout. La décoration est magnifique, beaucoup de cachet. C'est bien insonorisé. La musique classique dans les couloirs donne un charme supplémentaire. Ça sent toujours très bon dans les couloirs avec les diffuseurs de parfum. Le personnel est agréable, discret mais présent. Le ménage dans la chambre est vraiment impeccable. La mise à disposition d'une bouilloire et de café en permanence dans la salle des petits déjeuners est très agréable ainsi que la petite terrasse. Le manque de rangements dans la salle de bains, le miroir placé beaucoup trop haut. Idem une petite tablette dans la douche serait la bienvenue. Quatre cintres c'est un peu juste. L'ascenseur est superbe d'époque malheureusement souvent une des deux portes mal fermée le bloque à un étage et plusieurs soirs de suite nous avons dû monter à pied ces escaliers assez ardus et après une journée où l'on marche énormément c'est un peu hard... mais ça ce n'est pas le fait de l'hôtel par contre bien que ce soit mentionné sur la porte, il faudrait peut-être une signalisation encore plus efficace (elle n'est qu'en Italien) sur l'ascenseur même et verbale auprès des clients.

- Marina (5/5): Not worth the money, there are better alternatives. - The location as well as the staff was really good. The Building itself beautiful. The standard room was EXTREMELY small (ca. 12 sq.m). For two people is a no go. Maybe dirt/usage spots on the walls; small closet; tiny bathroom, which was smelly and loud. Shower had weird dark spots on the bottom. Carpet in the corridor was smelling like wet dogs, and the hotel is trying to cover the smells with all kind of aroma sticks.

And the room temperature control was quite bright through the night and a way to dim the lights would have only added to the otherwise excellent accommodation.

- Geertje (10/5): - Mooie kamer, vanuit de toren schitterend uitzicht over Firenze. Vriendelijk onthaal. Prachtige lift uit de Belle epoque.
- Cecile (9/5): La classe fiorentine - Raffiné et palazzo fiorentin. Bien situé avec jolie boutique. Service voiturage pratique même s'il faut appeler un peu à l avance. Très réactif sur whatsapp Ascenseur d époque magnifique mais petit... une indication écrite ou fleche pour indiquer endroit ou ouvrir la porte serait un plus... surtout pour les anxieux sinon il y a les escaliers!

- Silvia (9/5): Alojarte en un palacio - Ubicación perfecta. Dentro de un palacio precioso. Nos alijamos en la habitacion de la torre. Las vistas desde arriba fantásticas. Lo malo q hacia frío, las escaleras para subir son largas y estrechas (pensaba que estaba más cerca de la habitación) y no pude disfrutar ese espacio como me hubiera gustado. El personal muy amable Las almohadas muy incómodas. El baño tenía radiador pero no conseguimos q funcionara y hacia frio. Lo comuniqué, pero no hicieron nada. El colchón muy duro El desayuno bien. No hay salado, ni es buffet, pero suficiente.
- Sopranzi (9/5): Bel palazzo d’epoca in centro storico ! - Accoglienza, struttura vicino a tutti i luoghi di interesse, pulizia. Se dovessi trovare una cosa negativa ( ma è la mia opinione ) cambierei il materasso , un pochino poco accogliente.
