Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall a great stay. A bit far but nice and tranquil. The advert indicated we would have access to wifi which we did not (it would have been great since we were a bit far from everything). Very nice accommodations otherwise
- Jennifer (8/5): Great break with friends - We spent a lovely few days at the Log Cabin at Waterwoods - our second stay this year. This is a great spot to unwind as a family, and much care was taken to ensure we were comfortable in spite of loadshedding. The Cabin could do with a bit of housekeeping and maintenance, but only minor ones.
- GF (10/5): Sunset 🌅 in the Midlands - The view and ambience is breathtaking
- Francis (8/5): - The Cottage need air conditioning. Being a cold area it would be nice to put on aircon before leaving for the evening and returning to a warm room.
- Robert (8/5): Comfortable and quiet - We stayed for 2 nights, mostly to relax and to bird watch in the area. We stayed in one of the barn suites. The room was very nice and comfortable, and had a homely feel about it. We were the only guests at the time, which made it lovely and quiet. The property is great to walk around with a large lake. Shops and restaurants not too far away in Nottingham road.
A few negatives, the bathroom had a drain smell that was not pleasant. It was probably due to the room not being used for some time. Then the coffee granules provided in the room were the cheapest chicory brand available, and there was no fridge. Small details like this can easily be improved.
Overall this accommodation was comfortable, and at R650/night the value for money was good.
