- Marta (1/5): - Nada de nada Moquetas con mierda de no haberse limpiado en siglos, el alojamiento era antiguo pero eso no es excusa para la falta de limpieza que había en baño y habitación, yo dudo de que limpiasen entre el anterior inquilino y nosotros, había restos de envoltorios por el suelo, pelusas y pelos..un asco tremendo por más de 100 euros un alojamiento!! Era para salir corriendo de allí, no recomiendo este lugar a nadie, asquerosooooo

- Maria Amparo (7/5): Pleasant but can improve - We ask for a pet friendly room, the size of the room was surprisingly small than expected, it was clean but a bit disappointing for the ugly views from the window and the size of de room. Also it was cold in the window side of the bed. To get in to the room from reception it was also a confusing way to follow with many stairs up and down. The stay was pleasant, the location amazing, the staff was friendly. Better room, less stairs and better views
- Diane (7/5): Good for the money - The bed was comfy and the food was delicious(especially the Indian curries). My room was clean, the shower was fine, staff nice The noise of other people late at night, the blaring volume of the music on the Friday night! Id request a room on a higher floor next time. Staff nice enough in a professional manner but not overly friendly. Car park a good size but fills up fast so be good to have a separate bit for motorbikes so more cars could get in. Lifts were out of order.

- Leanne (5/5): Fine for one night but that’s all. - Great location and staff really friendly Staircases were dirty, carpets really shabby. Curtains in the room didn’t meet in the middle so no privacy and I was overlooked. The quilt inside the cover was disgustingly dirty. One flat pillow.
- carole (6/5): Short stay - The dinning room was very fresh, looked completely different to the rooms and the staff were very helpful there. The breakfast was ok. The room had a good tv. The entrance was nice , i think it had all undergone a revamp. The receptionist was very abrupt.she plonked the key on the counter and said our room was on the 3rd floor and motioned to the stairs. We were very late due to a holdup on the way and i rang ahead to explain.The Lift wasn't working and the stairs were steep . There was no offer to help even though my partner was visibly limping.Carpets all the way up the stairs were very worn. The room was very hot. Mismatched crockery and the bathroom wasn't very clean. Very small towels but we were only there for ONE night. If it had been more than that we would have been very disappointed with the room.

My room was above the main reception room and for 2 of the 3 nights there was music and party noise.....not their fault but not a peaceful stay. The bed linen although clean did not fit the bed and the pillows were not good.

- Matthew (4/5): Cheap price but still a disappointing experience - Location and price The bathroom was mouldy and very, very poorly installed tiling and fittings, room was small and dirty, wasn’t a pleasant place to spend time, the bar was underwhelming. The whole hotel smelt bad and was dirty from coming in. The cleaners were all very friendly but not so much the front of house staff

Skirting boards were filthy the tiles in the bathroom were bodged. The window sills were dirty. The shower cubicle floor was not clean.

Could have been from dogs and/ or products used to disguise the smell. The car park was not in good condition due to potholes.

- McCullagh (6/5): Spectacular food. Grimey hotel. - The Indian food for dinner in the restaurant was outstanding. Some of the best I’ve ever had. Well worth a visit just for the food. Strange odour in room. Curtains didn’t span the entire window. Bed was two singles pushed together to make for an uncomfortable sleep. Cleanliness and condition of room and furniture was poor.

- peter (1/5): Our only poor stay in 3 wonderful weeks. - we had a reasonable evening meal It was shocking, our room overlooked the car park, the lights were on all night so our room was fully lit. Our shower door only closed if you lent on it. Neither the lift or spa facilities were working. The worst part were the residents drinking and shouting and swearing until 3am. Sadly the management do not appearto take any notice of continues complaint and video.

- Ryan (8/5): Dated hotel, but good value for money - Nice location, good value for money The hotel is in need of a refresh. It is dated, the beds are old and a bit uncomfortable, and there are signs of age. My bathroom door didn’t close as the bottom had swelled up.

Our original booking was cancelled due to the hotel having emergency works done We had booked a loch view deluxe room at what we felt was a reasonably cheap out of season price. The room was definitely not deluxe. If I had a cat I wouldn’t have been able to swing it. Also the Loch view is nothing to write home about. A very rusty old caravan! Bed mattress was poor. We arrived early and were sent away even though he said room was ready??? Also told the restaurant was closed, only bar meals available but (I presume due to the large number of construction workers staying) there was no capacity for us. Thankfully a great fish and chip shop over the road. We just got up and left at 7.30 no one on reception to hand the key to.

- Jessy (1/5): - The receptionist were very nice tho Avoid! Booked a family room, as soon as I entered the room I just wanted to leave. It was dirty, dusty and smelly. Went to the reception to ask for a different room, without hesitation they checked and offered us a different room. It was slightly better but still very dirty, filthy carpets, dirty towels and a very bad smell again, in fact the entire hotel had a very bad smell. We meant to stay for 3 nights but after 2 nights I could not stay a night longer and booked somewhere else.

From reception up to the room, carpet was dirty, all very scruffy looking. We stayed on the 2nd floor but we heard all the music from downstairs. It was very loud and we couldn't fall asleep until bar stopped serving and closed.

- Teal (10/5): Loch long hotel - The room was great for me.I had a single room I stayed for two nights. The first nights stay was in a double room on the fourth floor and was quite a trek to get to. The lift is out of operation for some unknown reason. The second night I stayed on the ground floor in a single room which was much better and I must say a better room than the he first.It still involved going up stairs to come back down on to the ground floor🤔 The building on the hole is a bit tied, but well adequate for me. I would stay again

- Hang (1/5): Totally disaster experience of living - Very disappointed. Such messy facility, careless staff, and poor managrmnet. The reception doesn't even answer call during daytime. Left some personal belonging there and have to make more than 20 calls to get an answer says they didn't find anything in the room. Double bed was combined with 2 single mattress which when you turnover during the night, you will stuck in the middle. Also only overhead shower available as the adjust part for the handhold shower is broken. Be carefull that their check out time is 10am. If you forget this they will use fire alarm to wake you up.
- Rebecca (4/5): Pay for what you get. - The location was ideal for traveling to Oban for the ferry or hiking Munros. Wasn’t the cleanest . Cups were dirty, and around sink and shower had grime. Duvet had seen better day. The walls were thin and had to endure listing to a neighbouring rooms loud snoring at night and told there was nothing that hotel could do!
- Rory (4/5): Basic and inconvenient. - Standard and basic but appeared clean enough. Very poor parking facilities. Even mid afternoon when arriving at hotel the car park facility was completely full. No bay parking lines present so guests are allowed to park as they please leaving minimal spaces and risk of bumps and scrapes. When I asked the receptionist where I could park as it was full, he said I could park in the private spaces at the rear of the hotel if I paid extra money, even after already having paid to be a guest here. Then when I asked if they would cover the costs for the private car park, another worker was made aware and appeared very uninterested. They advised me to park outside the local convenience store up on the pavement and asked how early I’d be leaving the following morning to make sure that I’d get away with parking there. Proved to make this a poorer experience than if there were suitable parking facilities.

- Louise (3/5): - Lovely location next to the Loch, short drive to Loch Lomand and surrounding areas. Breakfast was good value We had a family room which was ok size. The window faced onto a different part of the hotel so the view was onto another wall and roof of the lower floor, no view of anything outside at all, therefore it felt very oppressive and dark. The curtains were too small for the window. The beds were small and uncomfortable and bedding was poor quality. Hairs on the bed. The floors were squeaky with holes in the carpet. The bathroom was a good size but with a bath only, shower fitted but not working. The room was noisy with sounds from the kitchen/restaurant below including a loud extractor fan, so a poor night's sleep. We asked if there were other rooms available but unfortunately all other rooms were booked. The hotel itself feels in need of an update. Parking available outside but lots of potholes to avoid. We booked for two nights but left early and only stayed one.

- Hollie (2/5): - The team member who checked us in was lovely The photos make the hotel look a bit dated but clean and fine for a night. The reality is the hotel is run down. The advertised hot tub is not pictured because it’s in the car park out front. Our room was unlocked when we got there with other guests in the hotel. The sink was cracked, the sheets had a stain on, and the remote control had marks on which looked like lipstick? We were told we had the best view in the hotel, and although there was a view of the lake, in between and a lot of the view was an abandoned caravan. Admittedly not their fault but fits with the place. We went out for dinner and mentioned to a local the hotel we were staying in, to which we were told that the hotel is known for complaints because customers are often offered drugs. Again although we weren’t offered drugs, it fits with the feeling of the hotel. We were also told that a disgruntled employee had quit recently and released a video showing how they never clean the hot tub. We checked out without staying the night and the man t the desk wasnt even surprised. All in all for the price of the place you can get a lot nicer.

Brak miejsc parkingowych dla gości hotelowych. Labirynt korytarzy. Nieposprzątany prysznic. Nieobecny personel podczas check-outu.

The price and location were perfect for our stay The bed was uncomfortable and the room was fine but there were little things like cleaning under the bed and small cosmetic issues which if addressed would make things better.

- BeaDro (7/5): Jedna noc w tranzycie - Lokalizacja - dogodna w czasie objazdówki. Czysta łazienka, miękkie ręczniki, podstawowe kosmetyki. Ciepło w pokoju. Dobre śniadania na ciepło i zimno. Ciasny parking - brak możliwości zaparkowania, ale w okolicy ok. 100 m parking publiczny. Brak czystości w przestrzeniach wspólnych - nieodkurzone korytarze, brudne ściany i drzwi, bardzo brudne ramy okienne w pokoju.

- williamson (4/5): Very disappointed with the direction it has taken - Stayed Stayed here previously and really enjoyed it , it's a shame coming back to see it going backwards in my opinion, the seating in the lounge bar area is badly stained a distanced odour is apparent wherever you sit( it stinks )stair carpet is filthy and needs binning .waste bi in bathroom is red ripe with rust , all easily fixed but definitely needs some attention to detail

- Kevin (2/5): Dissatisfaction and won’t stay there again. - Breakfast was ok Evening meal was not good, I just had a simple scampi which frankly was burnt and I only ate half of it. Had been on the road all day and was too tired to complain and have to wait for a replacement meal. The room in my opinion was not good at all and would say it was only 2 star at best. Mould in the shower, dirty skirting boards, cobwebs on the ceiling, damaged door, cheap, very cheap carpet, cracks in walls, plaster falling from the ceiling, worst bit was I spilt a little bit of water when making a cup of tea, wiped up with a small piece of tissue and the tissue was filthy so the top hadn’t been properly cleaned. Lift was broken too, that didn’t bother me as I am fit and healthy. One last thing which is a safety issue, the wall panel heater had not been PAT tested since 2023, the expiration date of the one on the fused spur was 2024. They need to know about this.

Book somewhere else! - Location The mattress on the bed was saggy, lumpy and we could feel every lump, they’d tried to disguise this with a quilt over the mattress but not fit to sleep on, the pillows were slither thin and had no hygiene cover. The bathroom tap was broken and the toilet so close to the wall you had to sit sideways. Black mould in the bathroom and windows that you couldn’t open in the bedroom, stair carpet to the room was absolutely disgusting and filthy! Thank god we’d only booked one night! Couldn’t wait to leave!
- Michael (4/5): Soort van F1 hotel, ooit prachtig opgeleverd, maar daarna nog nauwelijks iets aan onderhoud gepleegd - Douchekop zat los, wij terug naar receptie, konden we ruim 20 minuten wachten voor een andere kamer; deze was én veel kleiner dan de eerste, had ook geen groot flat screen tv, waar we wel voor betaald hadden. De kamer was niet écht schoon, tapijt (ook honden en andere huisdieren mogen hier mee) vies, bed had geen ombouw laken, erg vies, sanitair (wc en douche) daarentegen wel schoon en warme douche! Er had wel een extraatje (flesje wijn of ontbijtje) vanaf gekund, i.v.m. "downgrade" kamer en lang wachten. Om de kamers te bereiken, mag je een soort van marathon door het hotel lopen, "upstairs/downstairs", gangen in en uit, vreselijk.....;-(

- Jack (5/5): Average - Location was good for what I needed it for Friday night stay was fine but on the Saturday a live band was on from 9pm onwards which I was not aware of when I booked and from the room I was staying in it was very loud and prevented me from getting to sleep till later than I wanted as I was up early again on Sunday The heating in the room was ok but I found it a bit cold on the Saturday evening with the thermostat on the radiator up full (there was no actual heat coming from the radiator unlike the Friday)

- Christopher (7/5): Great location and lovely little spot. - Rally good location and right near the loch. Scenic views. Chip shop across the road is good too. Staff need to stop rowdy stays when the bar closes at night because it ca be a little noisy.

- Dan (8/5): Stunning location - Location is stunning. Food was good. Parking good. I had a single bed room. Had a great view of the loch and mountains. The only issue I had was it had a very worn sprung mattress. Slightly uncomfortable
