- Gorham (10/5): Quiet, clean, comfortable, and friendly. - Very friendly staff, a quiet room even though it wasn’t far from the elevator, and a free breakfast with a good variety of choices all contributed to a very comfortable stay. I would definitely go back.

- James (9/5): Best Sleep Of My Life - Something about the bed and bed sheets here are amazing. I had the best sleep of my life here. Showers were strong, and big. Rooms were a good size. I liked being here. Some towels were yellow? They were clean but just yellow and old. Rooms felt old but fine. Breakfast was all eggs nothing else. I still ate it and it was good but was hoping for more meats and veggies

- Paulo (4/5): It didn't worth the value paid - The hotel is very near to I-95, so it was an easy exit/access. Also it is not a far drive from areas with restaurants. Easy parking. In overall, the return value for what I paid to stay in this hotel was really poor. I stayed in room 203 and would not recommend that. The shower was really bad and it was not working properly. There was a broken piece and the pressure of water was ridiculous low. Usually I'm not "picky" on breakfast, but the one on this hotel was below the expectations.

- Jennifer (10/5): Great place to stay! - Spotless, comfortable and secure. I fell asleep to quickly to get photos of my room so that says a lot! Nothing to complain about at all.
- JJDamonte1 (10/5): Nice, new, modern hotel with great food. - My flight home from EWR to TPA was cancelled at the last minute (at boarding time) so I had to rent a car & drive 19 hrs. I needed to stop along the way. The hotel is new and modern, with modern, clean rooms with all the amenities. The main floor has a bar, the breakfast was included and was excellent. Every member of the staff was very pleasant. It was great. There wasn't anything about it I didn't like.

Breakfast was also great both mornings we were there. The beds were a little worn and uncomfortable but our only real complaint was the indoor pool. We were really hoping to use it more, but it was freezing.

Lots of food options nearby and nicer dining options within a ten minute drive. Perfect stop for our road trip from CT to SC. Would DEF stay here again.

Upon arrival the front desk clerk did not treat me the same as she did the person ahead of me. She seems to have been very attentive to him. She wasn’t friendly to me. Very robotic. Did not tell me about breakfast the next morning as she told the other person just asked me to swipe my card and handed me the key. The front desk clerk the next morning was very friendly when I checked out. The water in pool was extremely cold. The bed and pillows were hard.

- Amber (10/5): Exceptional service! - When we first checked in and got our room it smelled like cigarettes, my son has asthma so we brought it up to the front desk and they were very accommodating and moved us fast even though it was no fault of theirs just people suck and don't follow the rules! However they handled it so well and breakfast was great. Very clean. The pool was cold but very nice area.
- peterdD1156NV (6/5): Maintenance issues safety hazard - This hotel appears nice from the outside and the lobby was attractive. Check in staff was friendly. We received a handicap room not by request. The room itself was in poor condition. Specifically, the bathroom floor tiles were broken and lifted in large areas as they met the acrylic handicap shower base. It was a safety issue. I did report it. Staff said they would "make a note" The next morning we decided it would be best not to attempt run water in the shower as it was seeping down into the loose tiles. Additionally, very strange but the two queen beds were extremely low. You felt like the mattress was barely off the floor. How would a handicapped person even use the bed? I noted upon check out about the tiles again. We couldn't even shower. I was told the hotel had undergone a complete renovation in May! I wrote Marriott with no reply? This is the 4th incident in Fairfield Marriott locations with maintenance issues. Pretty disappointed in what was our "go to" brand. We are Vacation Club Owners as well. What is happening with Marriott?

- Jennifer (3/5): Room not ready - Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Front desk was rude and lazy. Room wasn’t ready at check in time of 3:00. I needed to get into the hotel room to get ready for an event. I ended up running late . We didn’t get into the room until 3:25. Rooms should be ready by check in time. I am paying for a room from 3pm- 11am then the room needs to be ready. Hire more housekeeping if you can’t make the check in deadline for the rooms to be ready! A lack of planning on your part is not the customer’s problem. You knew the hotel was sold out and didn’t plan accordingly. I could say a few choice words about the lazy worker at the front desk but I won’t.

- SusieTrow (10/5): Great hotel with the warmest of welcomes ! - We received the warmest of welcomes at the Fairfield Inn & Suites from Emily (Emily Boone) ! Having travelled up from Miami, it's fair to say that this was the best welcome that we received at any of the hotels that we checked into on our way up to Washington DC. The room was clean and ample for our needs. The hotel was ideally located with eateries nearby and was not too far from Busch Gardens in Williamsburg (approx 1 hours drive). We did have a rather noisy neighbour who decided that he was going to play his music at full blast just before 6am ! However, a trip down to reception and the lovely lady on reception followed me back upstairs and spoke to the guy next door. The music stopped after that ! All in all a faultless stay, we would definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it !

We were ASKED upon check in if we wanted room to be serviced and I said yes. We were there three nights. When it had not been served by last day we asked about it and were told there was no service and if I wanted towels I had to come to front desk. Which I did. This was not same person who checked us in. The staff taking care of breakfast and rooms were wonderful and helpful. Needed a fresh bath mat and upstairs worker who was cleaning another room gave me one. Pool was NOT heated. Perhaps tell people that. Pool room was freezing.

Every single member of the staff was kind and friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay amazing. I would stay here over and over again.

- FF5050 (8/5): Good place to stay while on the road. - Just a quick note. First time at this Fairfield but wanted to note the room is much better than the room I just stayed in at the AC Hotel in Columbus. Clean and bright. It’s also relatively quiet being just off of 95. The front desk person was nice and very helpful with dinner ideas. Good place to stay while on the road.

- Melissa (8/5): - The biggest disappointment was that after a long day of driving, the reason we booked this hotel was because of the pool for the kids to enjoy but they were SO disappointed that it was closed for renovations. This was not listed anywhere when booking, so if you care about the pool, inquire first. Otherwise the room was mostly clean (a dead bug on the carpet, crumbs on the sofa bed). Front desk staff were excellent and so kind. Location was perfect, right off I95.

- Micky (7/5): Just okay. Not bad, not great. - Quick access to I95 and handicapped room What could've been better is better sound barrier between rooms. Noisy next door guests were annoying. I could hear them talking clearly enough to understand what they were saying. Possibly if my room wasn't "connected" to next door it might've been quieter. Also, the heating/ac unit made a lot of disturbing noises as if it was on its last leg. (room 121). The front ran out of creamer for the coffee and it was 6am.

- Peggy S (10/5): Thanksgiving away from home trip - An extended stay over Thanksgiving to see friends. The property was nice but had some places under construction. The pool was out of order and that was a small disappointment . Overall April at the front desk was lovely and helpful with a good sense of humor!
- Hawley (7/5): Good - Bed was comfortable abd room was clean. The morning front desk person was very nice. The evening front desk person was not a happy person. There was a very large group in the lobby lounging area having a party and you could tell that she wasn't happy. My room had no trash bags in any of the trash cans, the pool was closed, so my grandson could not swim, and I had no hot water in my room. I did tell the woman in the morning, and they did adjust my bill, but still very still did not meet my basic needs of being able to shower.

No apologies or anything. I go to Richmond area for biz quite often. Never going back to this hotel again.
- Jamielisse (10/5): - Stayed here for the night for a quick rest stop on our drive up from Florida. The front desk woman was very welcoming and nice. Our room was clean and comfy. Large walk-in shower. I also had my dog with me and the area outside was perfect for her. There were a couple of places to grab a quick bite around the hotel as well. Overall, would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. Staff were friendly. Great breakfast in the morning. Great option for an overnight stay. Walked to the excellent mexican restraunt next door.
