Faites attention aux vieux carreaux de ciment au sol! 🌙⭐ Chambre confortable et colorée avec petit coin salon et salle de bain carrelée. Parfait pour une escapade à Essaouira ! Le personnel est au top, absolument adorable ! Latifa et sa collègue sont aux petits soins! 🤍 Une belle terrasse sur toit avec une vue à 360 sur la mer et la Médina. • Anabelle (3/5): Bad stay, don't recommend. - The apartment was spacious with working fridge, gas stove and hot water. The private balcony gets good sun when it's out. There were electric heaters available. This is NOT a beachfront property. It is diagonally at the far end to the medina gate that leads to the beach, about 20-30 min walk depending on how busy the streets are. There were two storms during my stay, as can be expected on the Atlantic coast. There are several leaks in the roof so on the first night I woke up to lots of dripping and stepped in two big puddles on the floor. There were 4 leaks in the bedroom and one big pool in the hall outside the kitchen. I placed bowls where I could and the next morning staff put lots of towels everywhere as the rain continued. This happened again on the last night. I received no apology despite this clearly not being a new problem. When I later made a complaint directly to the property I received a very dismissive and rude reply that leaking roofs are expected during heavy rain all over the world and that I just have to adapt to nature (I'm not making this up). I had saved up a long time for my first trip to Morocco but made the wrong choice of where to stay which I regret now. Additionally, I had to put up with an uncomfortable bed with plastic covers under the sheets. The views from the apartment are hideous so ignore them. The chairs are hard and uncomfortable. The towels are old and tatty. The pots and pans in the kitchen are old and the coffee pot was gross.

• Catharine (9/5): Super! - L’accueil et la gentillesse de Latifa et la femme de chambre qui, malheureusement, je ne me rappelle pas de son prénom. Le Riad est très chaleureux et bien décoré, emplacement idéal. La chambre était spacieuse et très confortable. J’ai fait un hammam et massage avec Latifa, c’était super et à faire! La balade à dromadaires au coucher de soleil était une belle expérience avec Rachid.

• Susanne (8/5): - Das Riad hat eine traumhafte Lage in der Medina und befindet sich in fußläufiger Nähe zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten und dem Strand. Es gibt zahlreiche Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Die Unterkunft bzw. das Appartement ist hübsch eingerichtet, individuell und versprüht einen nostalgischen Charme. Das Frühstück wird schnell und zur vereinbarten Zeit zubereitet - das ist toll! Das Appartement mit eigener Küche und Terrasse bietet viel Platz und macht einen längeren Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Manches ist in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Renovierung vertragen - aber es ist halt auch Riad-typischer Charme. Die Vorabbezahlung ist ungewöhnlich, hat aber zuverlässig geklappt.
• Steve (10/5): A beautiful Riad in a good location with a warm welcome - Riad Lunetoile was a beautiful Riad. Our room was lovely and very clean. The roof terrace is perfect for relaxing in the sunshine, with views of the town and the sea. The location was perfect and well placed within the Medina. The breakfasts were freshly prepared and delicious. The ladies who looked after the Riad were so lively, polite and helpful. There was nothing that we disliked. Would highly recommend.

Ein anderer Gast hat sich an unseren Kindern gestört. Wir wurden ohne Rückfrage von der Besitzerin aus England per Sprachnachricht kritisiert. Dies machte unseren weiteren Aufenthalt eher schwierig.

• Simone (9/5): Sehr schöne Unterkunft-toll gelegen! - Geschmackvolles und sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Riad. Toller Meerblick, ruhig und doch zentral gelegen. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen mit guten Tipps! In der Nähe befinden sich viele Läden und Restaurants, der Strand ist fussläufig gut erreichbar. Unser gebuchtes Zimmer war sehr geräumig und hatte alles was Mann/Frau braucht! Für mich war die Matratze und das Kissen etwas zu hart. War aber kein wirkliches Problem.

Bon petit-déjeuner qui peut être pris sur la terrasse tout en haut du ryad. Terrasse rooftop vue sur mer, très agréable et calme. Nous avions l'appartement au dernier étage avec terrasse, transats et draps de plage pour nous reposer si besoin. Petit détail mais qui a son importance : le sèche-serviette électrique dans la salle de bains pour sécher les serviettes de toilette pendant le séjour car elles ne sont pas changées chaque jour, appréciable. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Unser Zimmer war klein, gepflegt und hübsch eingerichtet; der Empfang verlief unkompliziert und ein Frühstück um 7 Uhr war kein Problem. Etwas hellhörig, sowohl im Haus als auch von der Straße, aber mit Oropax kein Problem und nicht unüblich innerhalb der Medina. Insgesamt ein schönes Riad mit freundlichen Mitarbeitenden – wer unkomplizierte Buchungsprozesse bevorzugt, sollte dies im Hinterkopf behalten. Weniger angenehm war der Buchungsprozess: Direkt nach der Reservierung erhielten wir zahlreiche Nachrichten via booking und WhatsApp mit der Aufforderung, 50 % des Betrags auf ein ausländisches Konto zu überweisen. Für Vielreisende wie uns ist diese Zahlungsweise eher unüblich und bei einer kurzfristigen Buchung 24h vor Anreise kaum umsetzbar. Nach einem kurzen Telefonat wurde dies jedoch gelöst und wir konnten nach mündlicher Garantie unserer Anreise auf die Anzahlung vorab verzichten.

Iemand stond ons ook op te wachten toen we aankwamen (hadden via whatsapp contact gehad wannneer we zouden aankomen). Heel lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Heel leuke en ruime kamer. Ook zeer klantvriendelijk en toplocatie.

La méfiance affichée alors que nous avions rencontré depuis 3 semaines des marocains accueillants , généreux et confiants , à introduit une inutile tension des notre arrivée. et a perturbé notre séjour à essaouira .

Également dans les prestations proposées, j'ai choisi le cours de cuisine que je recommande, belle expérience ❤️ J'ai réservé une chambre avec salle de bain partagée qui pourrait être rafraîchie. Attention à l'extra hammam, c'est une activité un peu hors du temps mais aussi un peu hors du commun par rapport aux hammams dans les hôtels. N'hésitez pas à demander plus de détails sur la présentation (ce que je n'ai pas fait)

• Greta (9/5): Schönes, gemütliches Riad mit fantastischen Meerblick! - Unser Aufenthalt im Riad war rundum gelungen. Die Lage ist perfekt – mitten in der Medina, sodass man direkt in das lebendige Treiben eintauchen kann, aber dennoch genug Ruhe findet, um zu entspannen. Das Riad selbst ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und dekoriert, was sofort für eine besondere Atmosphäre sorgt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal: alle waren außerordentlich freundlich, zuvorkommend und flexibel, was unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Ein Highlight war definitiv die Dachterrasse – mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf das Meer, ideal zum Entspannen nach einem Tag voller Eindrücke. Auch das Frühstück war sehr liebevoll zubereitet und abwechslungsreich. Unser Zimmer war sauber, die Schlafmöglichkeiten bequem. Die zentralen Sehenswürdigkeiten waren schnell fußläufig zu erreichen.

• Alexandra Frick (10/5): - This beautiful Riad is in the middle of the Medina and extremely peaceful. It is run by some caring women. The rooms are decorated with love, and we had real cotton sheets. The terrace is overlooking the sea, and you can sunbathe there. We got some good rest here, and one of the ladies took us to a local Hammam. That was a special experience. Thank you for a beautiful stay, Alexandra & Jutta

• Marianne levavasseur (10/5): Lunetoile que du bonheur - Le riad est magnifique, l'emplacement parfait, en plein centre de la medina sans être bruyant, le personnel est remarquable de gentillesse et de dévouement. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et excellents. Le hammam et massage de Latifa est une expérience à ne pas manquer. Mon mari a également pu faire le hammam chez les hommes avec Mohamed en même temps que moi. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Essaouira et comptons bien partagé notre expérience et donner les coordonnées de Lunetoile à nos amis, et peut être revenir pour un autre séjour. • Fabienne (8/5): 2 nuits dans le centre de Essaouira - Un charmant accueil dans ce riad très bien placé. Très propre . Pdj copieux pouvant être pris sur la terrasse vue mer ( 2 escaliers toutefois à monter avec son plateau mais ça en vaut le coup!!). La terrasse peut faire solarium aussi. Un petit coup de neuf serait bienvenu surtout la sdb .

• MELANIE (10/5): Parfait - Le riad Lunetoile est très bien situé dans la médina avec accès très facilement à tous les commerces ainsi qu'à la plage. Pas de bruit une fois les fenêtres fermées. Le personnel du riad est exceptionnel, ils sont au petit soin pour vous. Merci encore à eux pour leur accueil! Notre séjour à Essaouira a été un vrai plaisir. Je recommande vivement ce riad. Réglage de douche à revoir ( eau chaude difficile à régler)

La literie est à changer , il y a une odeur de renfermé dans tout l établissement , la salle de bain est plus que vétuste …. L accès à la terrasse ferme par des cadenas ne donne pas envie d’y aller du tout ! Et la déco des fleurs en plastiques est à bannir !!

• Pilar (6/5): - El trato del personal, tanto de Oussama como de Kabira y Latifa. El desayuno regular y que hubiese que recogerlo en la recepción y llevarlo uno mismo a la habitación o la terraza. Aunque en nuestro caso se ofrecieron a hacerlo ellas pero nos hacía sentir un poco incómodas con esa situación porque había que subir dos pisos con una bandeja por una escalera estrecha. Debo decir que fueron muy amables porque para nosotras era un problema....

En uitgebreid ontbijt. Keuken was wel erg sober ingericht. Maar daarom zijn we veel buiten de deur gaan eten wat ons heel goed beviel.

La décoration des chambres est magnifique.Nous avons pu partir faire du hammam et c'était une très belle découverte. Petit déjeuner très bon.

• Radoslaw (7/5): A place with a potential but needs a decent makeover and some imagination - Great view from the top terrace , the vibe of the second floor apartament is good but the whole place needs a decent makeover. Staff were really nice but note that mainly French and Darija are spoken - forget a small talk in English , not possible WiFi is strong and reliable !! The flat’s ‘private’ terrace is overlooked by 2 cameras ( I don’t think they don’t trust the guests - it’s more a security reason) but still - when you are at the terrace you are being watched , The breakfast is reaaaaly basic for this price (€90/ night) - a bit of bread , spread cheese , msemen ( Moroccan pancake) not fresh only warmed up , one egg omelet , fresh juice though ! Coffee was ok but everything exactly the same everyday . I arrived earlier so the cleaning was just a bit rushed so I forgive these cheeky hair here and there .. One more thing - I checked if these are local standards and apparently are sometimes - the staff will enter your room in the afternoon to close the window blinds - I wasn’t warned , just left the room in the afternoon and discoverer that one of the ladies did the blinds. The decor is also not the best - it’s lacking the taste in some areas - things are random or don’t match ! Terrace furniture is old plastic beds , some pieces of concrete suport the umbrella etc - it looks good on the pics but the reality is different . I’ve been to Morocco many times and for this price I would expect much more. I didn’t mind the loud music from the Sisterhood bar opposite - DJs were playing from around 1pm - 6pm - good music and I’m not sure if that was part of the festival Remember they expect you to pay half of the fee just after booking to their British bank account - Susan was communicating nicely but after money was sent she would stop replying passing you over to her local person in Essaouira.
• Susanne (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft in zentraler Lage - Es hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen. Wir hattendas Appartement mit eigener Terrasse und einer Küchenzeile. Die Lage war zentral in der Medina. Die Mitarbeiter sehe freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch der Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer per WhatsApp hat sehr gut geklappt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Alles war so wie wir uns es vorgestellt hatten.
• Maike (9/5): Wohlfühlen mitten in Essaouira - Die Lage wer direkt mitten in der Medina und die Dachterrasse war ein absolutes Highlight mit Blick aufs Meer!!
• Valeria (10/5): Molto carino questo posto - La posizione va bene, la terrazza è molto carina ma lo è tutto il Riad in generale. La cosa più bella lo staff gentile e amorevole in tutto, le 2 signore sono fantastiche . Lo consiglio Niente
• Veronica (10/5): Volveremos! - El alojamiento está muy bien, los desayunos muy buenos, situado cerca de todo, pero lo mejor la amabilidad de las mujeres que trabajan en el Riad, Latifa gracias por todo, os recomiendo hacer con ella un hamman tradicional, el mejor de todos los que me he dado en mi vida, maravilloso. • THIERRY (9/5): Riad reposant et idéalement situé - La localisation le rooftop et la grande chambre N4 Très agréable Un peu d attente à notre arrivée Un petit déjeuner sans fruit
• Peter (7/5): Bis auf die Zwangsbeschallung ok - Die Lage ist sehr gut , sofort im Riad Die permanente Musik Beschallung
• Petra Domres (9/5): Nettes Riad - Sehr schöne Lage mit Blick aufs Meer von der Dachterasse. Außer auf der Dachterasse, gab es aber keine Möglichkeit an einem Tisch zu frühstücken. Bei schlechtem Wetter muss man dann schon auf dem Zimmer essen.
• sandrine (7/5): riad Lunetoite : entre lune et étoiles - riad charmant et les dames de maison sont charmantes et très attentionnées Un peu vieillot au niveau de la salle de bain
• Manu Gatot (10/5): - Le Riad LunÉtoile et joliment décoré nous avions une chambre très agréable avec canapé et la salle de bain. La dame de maison était vraiment sympathique et nous a donné les meilleures adresses d'Essaouira. Le Riad est super bien placé dans la médina. Le rooftop du riad est magnifique Rien
