- Jan (8/5): Really comfortable well appointed room, very happy with our stay, owners friendly & helpful - Location in the center of town was excellent, we arrived early and the owner was happy to come down and let us in with no issues, very friendly and helpful, right next door to an extremely we’d stocked supermarket. Room was clean, beds and pillows very comfortable, tea, coffee and water available (could have had a little more milk). Bathroom could have been a little cleaner, and shower head was difficult to direct, could have had a little more milk for the coffee. Lacking any usb ports for charging phones.

Ended up leaving a day early.

- Leah (8/5): Great and appreciate the stay but would maybe charge a little less as it was expensive for two nights for what you get. - Was clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable and the staff were great The heating was on all night and not able to turn it down on the dial. The restaurant wasn’t open when we were there which meant we had to eat out while we were there a lot. No reception so all communication was through phone. Staff were very helpful though

Disappointing - The location was close to my meeting the next day The whole town was closed including our accommodation. There was nowhere to eat at all, unless you take in to account the local convivences store as it was the only thing open, not even a takeaway was open! The hotel bar and restaurant was closed, so no dinner or breakfast. This was not mentioned on Booking.com site. It also says there is parking available but this is on street parking, not secure. Although the rooms were clean, there was a strong odour of wet-dog!

Was a bit hesitant initially given it's not local to Belfast or any of the so called main places but we knew the food was going to be top tier give the chef was on Masterchef and it never disappointed. £10 for a full breakfast with a latte each morning as well was excellent value. The local pub a minute up the road was good for a night in as well. That it wasn't open on the last morning for another breakfast

However, no code left for lock box, and when i arrived i couldnt get into the property. We fell asleep in the car outside, waiting for hours. Terrible experience.

No mention of this in the description on the Hotels.com site when I booked therefore I was a bit annoyed when arriving at a locked and empty establishment after a long day.

I said, "But I did pay already." She said the money you paid through booking was on hold, so you would be getting your money back. I never got my money back. I tried to contact them several times, but it was a waste of time. No one knows anything.

The check-in was quick and straight forward and we booked a meal for the evening as well. The room was perfect and when we arrived it was nice and warm with everything we needed. The meal we had was excellent as well and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. A very nice place to stay.

Little extras like sewing kits & chocolates in room were a nice addition. All staff very friendly & helpful. Rooms very warm during the night is only complaint I would have and that may not be something someone else would complain about!

Eventually managed to speak to someone who talked me through how to get in after I'd called 4 times and been left hanging around for a half hour. Room was OK but on the small side. Freezing cold, weak shower on my first morning. No breakfast available and the bar / restaurant was shut on both nights I stayed (according to website, it's only open Thursday to Sunday) I did sleep very well for the 2 nights I was there but I definitely won't be back. Very disappointed bearing in mind the great reviews!

- Jennifer (4/5): It's not nice, but not horrible. If you're young, care free, and on a budget, it is fine. - You have your own private apartment with a washing machine. The free breakfast at the pub was good and the staff were really nice! It was VERY dirty. To be honest, it's owned by the pub and I'm pretty sure people just use it as a place to crash and smash after a night of drinking. The couch was so disgusting and stained, you couldn't pay me to sit on it. The fridge was damaged badly on the inside. Also, it was absolutely freezing and I had no idea how to turn the heat on. That part could be my fault though as I am not from Ireland, maybe I just overlooked the thermostat? It was also really late when I arrived and I didn't want to disturb anyone. I'm not entirely convinced we had fresh clean sheets, but I hadn't slept in 36hrs after traveling so at that point I didn't care, and just dealt with it. I did check thoroughly for bugs and there were none in case you are wondering.

Incredible! The lighting in the bathroom/shower was a bit dim - the ceiling light didn't reach the shower cubicle...but not a really big thing.
