The room had a smell to it and our bathroom door was broken and didnt shut. We called the front desk and the guy came up and told us it couldn't be fixed until the next day. We were only staying one night.

Megan (6/5): Okay but not worth the price. - The hotel is in a great location. The staff was excellent and the beds were comfortable. The curtains in our room were ripped, the ac and ice maker wouldn’t work. One of my rooms had a broken bathroom door that they taped off instead of replacing.

Karen (7/5): A practical, pet-friendly stop with free laundry—room could use TLC - I booked Candlewood Suites Omaha–Millard for a two-night reset on a long road trip, and it did exactly what I needed on the basics. The free guest laundry is a huge perk—machines were spotless and seemed newer, and being able to do a couple loads without coins was a gift. The in-room kitchen made it easy to meal-prep before getting back on the highway, and there’s a 24/7 Candlewood Cupboard on site for snacks and quick groceries. If you need extras, they also have the Lending Locker for things like slow cookers and blenders, plus outdoor grills in a gazebo area. Parking and Wi-Fi are complimentary, and housekeeping is on a weekly schedule, which fits the extended-stay style. The fitness room was impressively clean and had a good mix for a small hotel - cardio machines, free weights, and balance gear. I also appreciated that the hotel welcomes pets (I met several sweet travel companions in the halls). Note there’s a pet fee and weight guidelines. Location works well for a low-key reset - easy freeway access, with Zorinsky Lake Park and Henry Doorly Zoo among the local options if you’ve got time to explore. Bottom line: A budget-friendly, pet-friendly place to regroup with standout free laundry and kitchens - though the suite I had needed maintenance. If management tightens up room upkeep, this would be an easy repeat stop. (No pool on site, in case that matters.) Less great: my suite needed repairs. The toilet seat wasn’t secured on one side (nearly sent me flying), the exposed electrical/cord area under the cooktop interfered with the utensil drawer, and the tub had a crusty drain with a chip and paint drip. The queen bed was comfortable and the recliner was a nice touch, but finishes on some cabinetry were pretty worn. Hallway litter cropped up a couple of times; to their credit, staff cleared it quickly.

You have to take used towels to the front desk and they direct you to housekeeping to exchange them. Staff was very friendly. Hotel is in good condition and clean. Good location. REGARDLESS - WE DON'T HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE FACILITY.

Karen (8/5): - We rented a 1 bedroom suite for Th (Check-In)-Sun (checkout). TV in Master Bedroom did not work. After multiple calls to the Front Desk, they told us the remote for the living room ran both TV's and the hotel was full so they had no other remote. Turns out Rm 215 was the only room with the problem. They finally got us a remote on Saturday. As for housekeeping, they did NOT clean our room the entire stay. On Friday, we were gone before they came around, on Saturday we left 10-15 minutes after they tried to enter the room. My husband let them know we'd be leaving shortly but he said it was apparent she didn't speak English. As we went down the hallway, he let them know they were free to enter the room. Much later that day after we returned, we discovered they NEVER cleaned the room.

anchmer (6/5): Friendly staff; Pet Friendly - We stayed for one night passing through town. Parking is good for cars; not sure it would be as easy with a trailer or moving truck. Front desk staff were great - very friendly, especially to the dog (which we appreciate!). They were also celebrating the 8th anniversary of the opening, and had cupcakes in the lobby. The rooms were a bit dated … the first room we were given had a broken window, so we were moved to a second room down the hall. The second room had a window that would close (although it may still have had a broken latch), however there was no coffee pot or garbage disposal.

Comfortable, accommodating, and the staff, especially the one checking us in, I forgot his name, was so kind! Kind of a pain to get in and out of the location due to all the busy stores around. But being patient is key. Wish breakfast was included, they do help with a pantry area.

Verified traveler (6/5): Average - Nice rooms however Room 208 was so noisy. Not sure if it was a pipe or vent but it was an almost constant thumping sound coming from vent area in bathroom. Enough to keep you awake. The picture on 2nd floor by elevators was busted up. The bathroom door had a big hole in door covered up. Just easy fixes would make things look better. Remote was having a heck of a time working. All in all it wasnt bad but management should take care of some of the things I listed above for future guests.

Checkout via tv was efficient. I didn’t like all the bags of trash in front of other rooms from food take-out/delivery/cooking in hallways. They were removed by staff routinely but that didn’t change smells in hallway.

Carol (8/5): Very good - Rooms have kitchenettes with full size refrigerator, a two burner stovetop, microwave, dishwasher and toaster. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and utensils. Dishwasher soap is provided as well as dish towels. Also the hotel has free self laundry service, but you must bring your own detergent. It's a great place to be if you are on a long road trip. Bed was comfortable. I had to call the front desk to get the knob that is required to use the stovetop. I think the knobs should be in the room. I thought that was a bit annoying. You can make ice in the refrigerator freezer if you need ice. The hotel doesn't have an ice machine. Making ice that way is slow and the refrigerator is also noisy while making ice so we turned it off so it wouldn't wake us up during the night.
