• KIYOMI (8/5): 美味しい海鮮料理がリーズナブル - お風呂は、男女別で清潔だった 駐車場も無料であった エアコンは無かったが、稚内は涼しいので扇風機でじゅうぶんでした。エアコンが無いことは事前に知っていたし、問題ないです。

• toshihiro (3/5): ここは旅館ではなく、民宿だ - 部屋に何もない。トイレ、洗面所、コップ、風呂、冷蔵庫、ドライヤー、湯沸かし器…コップに至ってはなんと共用！風呂は家庭用の少し大きくした感じで、湯船はだれがどういう状態で入ったのかわからないので、やめた。なのに、口コミ等の評価があまりにも高すぎるのは何故か？

• KAZUHIKO (8/5): 旅費目当てに行くのも良いと思います。 - 晩御飯が食べきれないほどの量が出て来て，すごかったです。刺身もタコしゃぶも他の料理と美味しかったです。 初日がタコしゃぶ，二日目はタラ鍋。 毛蟹が毎晩半身出て来て，二泊で一杯食べた事になりました。 旅館に入った瞬間にかび臭いがしました。翌日には慣れましたけど。 タオルの交換が無かったのが残念です、連泊したけど。

• TT (5/5): - 夕食は、たこしゃぶ、刺身、天ぷら、煮魚、酢の物、焼き物、毛ガニ半身・・と非常に美味しかった。 ・クーラーの設備はありません ・扇風機1台がありますが、2025年夏は異常気象で暑く、扇風機で過ごす一晩は厳しいものがあります ・駐車場は砂利です。スペースは広くありますが、大型バイクは沈み込む為駐車に気を使います ・旅館との連絡でメールをしても返事は帰ってきません。

• Jon (10/5): Exceptional - Great hotel. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. They served a great diner (quantity and quality wise) even though I had not booked it in advance and even lent me a pair of shoes for the day, adapted to the abundant snow. The room and bathroom are simple but impeccably clean. If I go through Wakkanai again I will renew my stay there without hesitation.

• Khek (9/5): Superb - Very homely ryokan manned mainly by a friendly and adorable granny! Home-style Japanese breakfast was provided. The room a traditional tatami room which was spacious and clean. Walking distance from the main train station and a bus stop just a few walks away. An onsen was nearby, and wild deer could be spotted around the neighborhood as well. Oh, they're not proficient in English but will try their best to convey their messages to you. Nil.

There is only 1 common bathroom to share if your room doesn't come with it. And maybe abit of roadside noise during summer as you would open the windows.
