- Alex Wolf (7/5): Typical backpacker’s location. - Typical backpacker’s accomodation. Julian and staff are relaxed people. From the bar nice view on the street below. Kitchen good do with a good cleaning!

- Beejai (8/5): - The staff. Accommodation. Safety. Utilities.
- Toshihiro (8/5): -
- Christian (10/5): - Julian was a magnificent host. He helped me arrange an excellent taxi driver who got me to the airport safely and quickly for less money than I was expecting. I got mugged (at 11 am) in Georgetown, so be mindful that it isn't the safest place. Don't travel with lots of valuables on you. I was able to fight off my attackers, so I kept the money and phone I was carrying. Anyway, Julian was a great place to stay.
- Scholz (3/5): - Sehr schlecht ausgestattet. Zu teuer für das Zimmer
- Sandeep (2/5): Worse - Nothing Everything
- Edwards (2/5): - Nothing Stained sheets and towels, no shower head, no TV, a/c dirty an is barley colding the room
- De Freitas (3/5): - The place is clean, with no cockroaches seen. The guest house is like a Ghost house. I didn't see any other guest staying there. No staff around, just the owner. No coffee is available.
Make sure to ask for instructions on how to exit the building because the lobby is closed after midnight and opens late the next morning.

- zoharon (7/5): Too much $ for too little - Room was fine.
Good WiFi.
Mini fridge Water stream in shower is a Disgrace.
Tap is broken.
Fan is noisy.
- Mario (1/5): The worst part is that the water coming out of the taps is dirty and trickles out, not even enough f - I liked the hotel's location because it's in the city center, and I also liked the restaurant area because it was convenient as I didn't have to leave the hotel to find food. I didn't like the hotel rooms because all the windows are closed, there are no openings to let in air, and the air conditioning is in terrible condition; some don't even cool the rooms.
- Marijn (3/5): Another no value for money in Guyana - Friendly owner and central location It’s outdated and not clean at all, too expensive for this low quality
- Georg (5/5): For Georgetown it seems to be a cheap place to stay and if your standards are super low, it’s ok. Otherwise I would sugg - It’s within easy walking distance to the city center and has some markets, a supermarket and shops and restaurants around.
The staff was very friendly with me and helped me with whatever I needed. It could definitely have been cleaner and on a Friday night it was super noisy because of the karaoke upstairs in the bar. The bathroom was quite adventurous, as everything was loose…the toilet itself, the sink etc..
- Nicolas (1/5): Absolutely horrible - A big dump was waiting for me in the toilet. Nasty. The place was nasty as hell. Even fire couldn’t sanitize that dirty place. During the whole stay, I kept wondering if sleeping on the streets would be any better. Just nasty. Even if they are paying you to stay there, don’t go.
- Safa Enes (2/5): Uncomfortable and so dirty - Uncomfortable and so dirty.
- Pujada (10/5): -
- IKRAMULLAH (10/5): -
- Bawi (8/5): We have a great time - I like the fact all the supermarkets are very closed to the hotel so you can go shopping anytime Needed a bigger trash can since it alway full and I got to pull it down when I throw trash
- Shizuki (7/5): -
- Laîné (6/5): -
- Diego (9/5): - All good, Mr. JULIAN a great person No hot water for rhe shower
- RUPERTO ANTONIO (5/5): -
- Komal (8/5): -
- Vincent (4/5): -
- Rudolph (10/5): I was comfortable. - There was no breakfast served. security, clean building, and friend staff.
- Maharaj (1/5): Very bad experience - No breakfast included in package
Location was convient The water pressure was very löw
The fan was not powerful enough for croking the room ,it was stuffy
The room was not sound proof to drown out the loud noises from outside
- Atkins (6/5): Pleasant -
- ALWYN (6/5): - No one to welcome me at the front desk and the quality of service was rotten
- Dario (7/5): Good -
- Debbie (4/5): Disappointing - The location. Surrounded by shops and a market. Easy access to public transport and taxi services. Mr Julian is friendly and helpful. The room smells . Needs to air out the room before guests check in. The room is clean but the towels weren't much more than rags and the bed rugs were worse . It's difficult to get in and out once the guests house's front door is closed
The code system doesn't work properly so I was locked out twice. Booking. Com also need to advise guests of the extra charges. 10 US dollars extra service charge , and 4% extra for paying with a debt or credit card.
- Sidra (4/5): Review of backpackers room - Location is close to sites and good food places. The host was friendly. The sheets, towels, and pillow cases were dirty and had yellow and red marks/ stains. There is no insulation, so you hear everything from outside, and the cockroaches easily get it. On the second day, the bathroom light stopped working. There was only cold water to shower with. There is a karaoke late on friday nights, so don't plan on sleeping then.
The rooms are in need of renovation since there are big gaps in an outside door that let's cockroaches in. The room gets warmer than the outdoor temperature.
There is apparently a kitchen area, but guests basically never have access to it. The host warned us the first day to not be out after dark since it is "dangerous," so we mostly took dinner back to our room and ate with the utensils provided by the restaurants.
When you are booking this room, you are booking a place to sleep. Don't expect cleanliness.
- Esther (1/5): Bad -
- Jurgen (3/5): Very bad - It was near the location i need to be A had to paid cash
- Sibylle (8/5): Would stay there again. - Perfect location, close to town centre. Nice balcony to sit outside. Clean, quiet. Wifi is only really working on the balcony, not inside the room.
- Rampersaud (6/5): Pleasant -
I want to share my experience at the **Posada Juliann**. From the first moment, I felt at home. Juliann's friendly service and the entire staff were exceptional. The rooms were adequate for all my needs, which made my stay even more pleasant. I recommend this place **100%**! I will definitely return. Thank you for everything!
- Gail (8/5): Comfortable and pleasant, thanks to the owner - I liked having the cost of my first night removed as it was closed when I arrived at 2 a.m. I had to go to my tour hotel and wait until 4 a.m. to even get registered due to so many bookings there. In the end I just stayed in the lobby until I could book a taxi to buy postcards and stamps and then went to Julian Guesthouse.
My flight was delayed and processing the passengers took an inordinate amount of time such that I could not reach Julian Guesthouse before closure at midnight. Upon arrival there I could not get in despite my driver trying every conceivable number to reach the owner. I had to pay an extra taxi charge to return the next day for my booking of the second night. There were no rooms at my tour hotel given the Easter holiday and full occupancy there before my tour began the following day, so I was thankful that I had that booking at Julian's Guesthouse. Julian automatically offered to remove that charge for the first night given my attempt to honour my booking but the impossibility to do so given the lack of 24-hour staffing. I enjoyed my conversation with other personnel at the hotel. I could write postcards while waiting for a taxi the next day and enjoy a complimentary coffee. Julian was an agreeable host. 24-hour entry possibility
- Claudette (6/5): - The property was near the market and shopping area.
- Ljiljana (5/5): Passable -
- Drew (10/5): Book it. Outstanding host who responds to needs. Clean sheets. - The host/owner is outstanding. I was coming in after hours and he set up a self check in for me.
After he sent me the info, he personally called me on WhatsApp to make sure I got it and to ask if I had questions.
What great service. Listen, it's not a hotel. It's more like typical house with rooms accessed from the outside. So, the bathroom wasn't nice looking, but that's real life there; it was clean. Sheets and towel were clean.
- Jeremiah (4/5): Disappointing - the room was clean The staff wasn't very welcoming thought it was a restaurant but we weren't allowed to order food or anything room hadn't much of the normal amenities you'd expect the owner was a little irritable
- Felipe (8/5): Very good -
- Bertram (7/5): Good place -
- Joseph (8/5): - Julian was very helpful.
- Antony (8/5): A peaceful haven, close to the city! - Very friendly, conveniently located.
- Emmanuel (1/5): Never again - Location There were mice coming under the door and entering the room. Also, there isn't any ventilation in the room
- Odejobi (3/5): It wasnt worth the cost at all -
- Canion (10/5): Great Guesthouse for Backpackers - Julian is a nice man who was very flexible with my late night check-in. The guesthouse is located around various restaurants and shops. While the rooms are not luxurious, they are great for backpackers and budget travelers.
- Ewa (10/5): Exceptional - We really enjoyed our stay at Julians guesthouse. We took the Backpackers room which was a really good price for what you got. Location is close to a Supermarket and a good Cafe, you can Walk from there almost everywhere.
- Rampersaud (7/5): Good -
- Dhiru (10/5): Exceptional - Julian provides a good stay in Georgetown.
- Franklin (4/5): You get what you pay for - The owner is very nice and the location is very good where you can walk to most attractions and restaurants. Our room number 2 was in need of simple upgrades. The toilet seat was very loose, no hooks, it was very humid, the electric plugs were so loose my cord wouldn't stay in, barely any water pressure, bathroom light was super dim, missing door handle, and no shelving for your belongings.
- Atkins (6/5): Pleasant -
- Wilma (8/5): - Nice place, lovely owner.
Just the matras is thin, good enough for few nights.
- Kwame (8/5): Everything was up to my satisfaction. Good location to explore the city. - The warm welcome of Julian and good service.
He made me feel at home and gave me all the directions to explored the city.Great guy. No complaints.
- Mickey (8/5): - thanks for your willingness to help. blessings to you
- Waldron (1/5): Bad - Nothing Poor customer service, and the room was bad had to move to a different hotel.
- Manso (10/5): Everything were perfect - Everything excelente Everything good
- Virginia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sheldon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melena (4/5): Disappointing - Location was passable A, fan not working, bathroom dirty, toilet leaking
- Jenni (8/5): Good location with good price - Wifi and location are good. Staff was helpful; my flight was delayed and they had left the key in my roomdoor and sent me advice how to find it. They have mosquito nets. Room was quite worndown. I hadn’t yet been in other Georgetown hotels so this was minus.
- Dennis (9/5): Superb -
- Winston (6/5): Relaxing -
- Allsop (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nigela (7/5): Great location and very friendly host - Julian was very friendly. The location was great. There is grocery 5 min walk and farmers market 2 min away. The city was very safe overall. There was a refrigerator. The WiFi worked great. I really liked Georgetown overall. There not many options for booking at Georgetown. The only thing didn’t like, there was no hot shower there is the a/c. But there is a fan..
- Thandarsoe (9/5): I enjoyed my stay. Great location, friendly, safe and the rooms are fine for the price -
- Earl (9/5): Superb - I liked mr. Julian's hospitality. Very welcoming and helpful. Giving good advice and information needed. A mishap with the water on the last day, but mr. Julian was quick to respond to the issue and made up for it.
- Lourens (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sherry (5/5): Passable -
- Pedro (5/5): Value for money - The owner has good customer service but the staff is very sloppy
- Neil (2/5): - This place has no hot water the water not going down in the shower the toilet not flushing dirty sheets bed mad shaky
- Johnston (6/5): Reasonable stay. - The location was perfect. Close to stores and market walking distance. At least they could have serve Breakfast.
- Khalid (1/5): Bad -
- Rosalin (8/5): Ideal - Cheap Cold water available only
- Vora (4/5): Disappointing -
- Rhuturaj (7/5): Good -
- Jason (8/5): Close enough to downtown, but just right - Strategic Location, multiple rooms to facilitate a large group Slim stairwells
