• Wolff (7/5): Awesome location, quiet and secluded. - After-hours key collection was efficient and hassle-free. Super quiet location. Bowlo right next door was great for dinner and trivia quiz. Cabin was clean and comfortable. There was no local info in the room so we walked off into the darkness to track down dinner somewhere. Luckily, the Bowlo was right there. The TV reception was dodgy and unwatchable. Some milk for cuppas would have been good.

Entry code number for key box was not sent early enough for us to enter when on arrival. Had to make several attempts to contact them. Walking tracks to the beach need to be cleared and not enough tracks for the area. Shower curtain drips all over the floor. Kitchen too small for two people let alone a family of 4-6.

• Joanne (8/5): - I entered the address into maps, followed the directions & ended up on the wrong side of the river & at Harrington. I had to enter the actual name into maps to find the correct location, then drive another 40mins to arrive. When I expressed my experience to the welcoming staff member, she replied, I am not the first person who has mentioned this problem. Clearly staff don't care about weary travellers finding their establishment with ease. I was low on petrol, the local shop petrol pump was dry. Other than that, the accommodation was very good value and presented well. Nice kitchen, nice big fridge, comfortable bed & great shower pressure.

• James (9/5): Excellent stopover or longer term stay at a lovely secluded destination - I found the cabin better than I expected. Refurbished, clean, and quiet. Taylor, the Manager was very helpful, friendly, and courteous. The car parking was easy to navigate, and adjacent to the cabin. No complaints. The shower fitting was loose at the wall, which I reported to Taylor upon leaving the next day.

• John (4/5): Rubbish - Location Run down, the bed moves around the floor on wheels. The bed was cheap and small and rock hard. The lounge was cheap and nasty, no numbers on the cabins only on the gutters making it imposable to see in a SUV. The cups were stained, with unflushed toilet paper in the toilet. The bathroom is barely big enough to enter.

• TsTatiana (8/5): - We have rented 2 villas during our stay: Standard Poolside Two-Bedroom Villa (69) & Deluxe Balcony Three-Bedroom Villa (132A). Deluxe villa was absolutely fabulous - very spacious, modern & clean, loved everything about it. Highly recommend! Holiday park itself has nice amenities (showers, camp kitchen, games room), kids loved the pool area with a slide and jacuzzi. Its super close to the beach which is a bonus. We were checking in late (around 10 pm) and staff made it very easy for us to find the keys and directions to cottages which we really appreciated. Standard Villa was a let down, it is EXTREMELY dated, there wasn`t any reno done in the last 20 years there probably. Furniture, bathroom & kitchen were all screaming old and stained. So definitely wouldn`t recommend getting the standard one especially for the price that they are asking. We were checking in late and finding cottage numbers was a real challenge as there were no lights next to the numbers at all and the road itself was poorly lit. Would be great to put a small light next to the number on each house to make life easier.

General toilets were also neat n clean but someone locked them from inside. Arcade was also good Access to ocean was not appropriate. Secondly accommodation for campers and those renting units were together which made it more crowded. Internet was pathetic

• Tara (5/5): Location for the win, but wished I packed ear plugs - Proximity to the beach was fantastic. Problem with the smoke detector, meant that we were subjected to ear piercing beeping every 20 seconds! Every. 20. Seconds!!! The sound of the waves crashing on the beach was wonderful, and the kookaburras laughing was great too. (In between the high pitched beeping). Hubby was able to reset it temporarily, however, the beeping recommenced at 5am waking us all and continued until we checked out. The only number available to contact was in case of emergency- it wasn’t an emergency, just highly annoying and totally ruined our stay. Accomodation was smaller than expected and dated.
• Georgina (8/5): Great place! Worth checking out - The amazing beautiful property itself is great! The staff members I talked to were so lovely. It was awesome having lights on when we arrived. While not to fault the roads to get there are pretty bad. There were little things about it (such as door being a pain to lock, the blind falling on me when I closed it at front , and the very extra small shower) which is the reason for an 8 not a 10.

• Michelle (8/5): Great holiday park with friendly helpful staff in a beautiful area. - Super friendly staff, clean comfortable cabins, great pool area, direct access to bowling club ( only place open for dinner in the immediate area), great place for families, poolside cabin directly opposite pool and kids play ground so can watch them from deck. Nice deck with table for eating/sitting outside, Air conditioner works very well cooling whole cabin. Direct beach access from park. Cabins reasonably sound proof once doors/windows closed. Only very minor negatives .... An info pack on what is located in park, opening hours for pool etc and local area info like dinner/lunch venues would have been nice to be available in cabins. The numbers for cabins hard to see from the car as they are painted on the ground.
• Meagan (8/5): A great little spot for relaxing and fun for the kids. - We stayed in a one bedroom economy cabin, it was great for the one night stay. Pool facilities were incredible. Bowling club is a very very short walk and they have a selection of Chinese/Malaysian food with some Aussie meals. Our cabin was great, very clean and tidy. The beach is nice and close and a short walk away. We strolled down in the late afternoon and it was just beautiful. We stayed in a one bedroom cabin with bunks bed for our girls, we arrived and they weren’t made, so we had to make them. It’s not a big problem but on holiday you don’t really wanna make beds. Bring supplies with you as there is only really a general store and not much else.

There were ants everywhere. We came back to our cabin and the ants were in the sink, the benches, etc. Good thing we had washed all our dishes beforehand and put all the food away!

• Kate (7/5): Adequate for a night - Close to the beach and river These econo cabins are in desperate need of an update, there was a funky smell and the bed was not comfortable - bathroom was tiny to the point you have to go sideways to get past the sink to the toilet - fine for a one night stay on the way somewhere but wouldn’t like to stay longer Not on them, but the road in is awful, especially if you’re in a 2wd..
