The room wasn't quite ready when I arrived, but the staff was helpful with no issues. My sons met me in the car park in morning, and was told they couldn't park. They was not staying they was just waiting for me to check out. I think the check out is a little early.

Sally (7/5): Great hospitality, tasty food, traditional charm, spotless bathroom. - The staff were absolutely lovely. The bathroom was spotless, as was everything else as far as I could see. The building has a lot of charm and character. I had dinner in the evening and the food was really tasty. Everything you could need in the room was provided, iron and board, hairdryer, tea / coffee / biscuits, loads of pillows, lots of plug sockets, a nice desk and chair. The bathroom was a good size and nice to have both a bath and shower to choose from. Nothing major, some of the paintwork in the bathroom looked half done or finished in a rush. I can see some work has gone into freshening things up in some areas, and more of that would make a nice difference, but it's not a big thing. The bed was not comfortable though, I did wake up pretty frequently throughout the night. Other than that it was good value for money and a warm, welcoming place.

Clare-bear (9/5): - I don't know how valid my comments on the value for money as I live in London and have a skewed idea of how much things cost but I thought it was fantastic for the price. Exceptionally comfy bed, i wish i could have stayed there all day - excellent shower, homely room. They advised if you book direct you can get early check in automatically. We were still given early check-in which was really kind of Paul as we had to get ready for a wedding. It really made our stay easier. The stairs were fine for me but maybe a little steep for some people so if you struggle with mobility or have really heavy cases ask for a ground floor room - I think they have them. 10am check out is a bit early but considering they let many customers check in at 12 it's very reasonable.

The family use the bar/restaurant area for sitting in sometimes, which makes it feel like you're in someone's home rather than a hotel. Homely things like school photos adorn the walls. Breakfast was big and very filling. The room (with slopy floor) was quite large and the bed was comfortable. Some guests may not like the blurred line between family accommodation and public areas, but I did.

Webster (9/5): Welcoming, very clean, well organised lovely stay. - Paul greeted us when we arrived, very polite, helpful and gave us lots of handy information, then he took us to our room. This was very very clean, very well equipped , we were very happy with everything that was available to us. We were amazed at the extent of the breakfast menu, honestly they have all your dietary needs covered , so much choice! The breakfast was piping hot , very fresh and the sausages that are hand made are so good, a must try. All the staff were lovely , nothing was too much trouble and we will return. Great location, massive car park too. Thank you Paul and the team. The only tiny thing and it’s not a criticism, I just found the room very warm but I used the fans provided and that sorted it, greatly appreciated.

Trimble (6/5): - The staff were friendly. The room was clean. The room was tried, and the shower cubicle was too small. The stairs, although partitioned off, were part of my room, which was very noisy with footsteps and chatter. I could hear machinery buzzing all night of one type or another. The guests should be warned to be mindful of other guests. The guests going to their rooms late at night were too noisy with chatter and slamming their room doors. The rooms by no means soundproofed.

Off-road parking more than adequate. The only difficulty was exiting the car park onto the road close by the junction but with care, or turn left only, this was negotiated. The Landlord has done all he can to make the exit safe & easy.

Schmer (10/5): Charming Inn - This is a gem! I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are extremely clean and very nicely decorated. Everything you need is there. The staff are amazing, and the food is 5 star quality. I only stayed one nite, so I enjoyed a wonderful dinner, perfectly prepared and an excellent breakfast! I would highly recommend this, the hospitality was incredible, and authentic feel and charm of an inn is everywhere. Totally my cup of tea! There was nothing I did not like

Kathy (9/5): Extremely comfortable, friendly and helpful staff as well as a cosy sitting room area in the bar. - Plenty of choice for all tastes at breakfast. Lovely clean room equipped with fridge, complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits, powerful shower etc. Evening meal in the bar was delicious and good value. For one of us the pillows were a little too firm but didn't ask for them to be replaced.
Clare (10/5): This was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay and we would certainly stay here again. - The room was very good and particularly was spotlessly clean. It was serviced daily. The food was excellent with good choice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is nothing to comment about here.

Lindsay (8/5): Comfortable, friendly would stay again. - Beautiful family run hotel with the most delicious food. The bedrooms are impeccable. Just a suggestion that the family apartment we stayed in could have the living room upgraded to match the beautiful bedrooms.
Victoria (10/5): Wonderful stay, just a shame it was not for longer! - The family that run the Beaumond Cross are lovely, helpful and so knowledgeable on the local area. We have stayed multiple times and are often unable to book the Beaumond Cross due to their popularity and regulars staying.

Scott (1/5): Not a pleasant experience - Cosy pub I was basically accused of not paying for a drink . Even after I produced evidence on my phone . No apology nothing . The old saying the customer is always right doesn't exist here . We won't be staying again that's for sure. I would advise avoiding this place .

Breakfast serving a little tricky. Ordered food night before which is not always great. It was not ready. No buffet which was understandable but would have been nice to have had some fruit and pastries on the table

Pringle (10/5): I want to come back for more - The welcoming feel. The Beaumont Cross Inn has pulled off the rare feat of combining family comfort with the correct level of professional hospitality . Next time I will make sure my visit is long enough to try the homemade food. Both the breakfast and lunch menus made my mouth water! Nothing

beppu (10/5): It’s a place that feels cozy and familiar, even on your first visit. - The owner is such a warm and wonderful person, and the room is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay — a refrigerator, tea set, iron, and more. I also stayed in central London for a while, but the breakfast here was my favorite of the entire trip. There were no negative points. Although the building only has stairs, the kind staff helped me carry my suitcase.
