• Prakash (8/5): - The food was good. The Chef is excellent. We had food of our choice on order. That is why we feel at home at this place. Keep it up! Some issues for housekeeping as they had to be told to make arrangements to provide towels n tea mugs for two as per booking. These could have been done without our telling them. They obliged though.

Chef Ajay is very good with food. He gives a lot of variety and the taste is fabulous. Staff is also very hospitable and friendly.

• Nomad37960323468 (8/5): Omar and Fel’s Review - The front of house staff are absolutely amazing. They will help and assist with the smallest of requests. The staff doing the house keeping are superb, they kept our room well organised and even arranged the shoes and trainers by the door, they always gave us a fresh set of linens and towels. The breakfast provided was plentiful and delicious, there is a fresh set of foods every day so no two days are the same. The breakfast buffet is definitely a highlight. Location of the the hotel is in Prime Dar es Salaam, you are 20min car journey to the ferry port to go Zanzibar, you are 10min walking distance to TWO big malls in Dar es Salaam (Mlimani City and the recently opened Dar Village), you are 10 - 15min car journey to high end restaurants in the area. To say the least it’s a good location to be in in-terms of getting around the city. However it is a far from the airport, as the airport is located on the outskirts of the city. The WiFi connection is by far the best we’ve had, you can stream movies and scroll on your phone with no issues at all. Kudos to the team for investing in a reliable internet connection. The parking on site is guarded so you can have a peace of mind if you have your own vehicle or renting a vehicle it will be safe. We stayed for a total of 9days 10 nights (went to Zanzibar and came back to the same hotel before our international flights). However not all places are perfect, a few things to point out. The hotel overall could do with modernisation and a face lift to say the least. In terms of value overall, I would happily return again. Good job Seashells Team.
• Alice (6/5): Good location - The hotel located near everything. There's free parking and security guard. TV has only 4 channels and the TV signal was very bad. Its not smart TV therefore no Netflix or any App. Secondly, there was a electricity kettle but no socket fits to connect the kettle.
• Extraordinary823807 (10/5): Quite Place for Couple - I have been in Seashells hotel Two times with my lady Donna for business at the first time, and the second time we visited in dar es salaam for shopping. Both times we slept the same hotel with the same room no 401, it’s our favorite room because it’s huge nice angle at the corner, great view and it’s Extremely beautiful although it’s an Executive Suite so I like the bathtub of the room because it’s big for couple as you can be into it and chill😅 Rose aka mama Rose from the Reception is a one of the professional one I ever met in the country, always she has been so helpful for listening and organizing our room accordingly so thanks to her. Rose from the restaurant and Enala Gardena were always amazing, they were giving and delivering our orders in-time when we needed a lunch or dinner, thank you for you guys! Zanura from house keeping she is wonderful, she is the best person ever, always our room were very clean and look so nice, our bed, our bathroom and our guests waiting room was gorgeous, thank you so much Zanura and all the staffs in Seaschells Hotel are amazing!

• Rowena (6/5): - Based on other reviews, our expectations were much higher. Located in a commercial building with a sign about the size of any other business, the hotel itself was a bit hard to find for both us and the cab driver. Also despite our booking being based on double occupancy, there was only one set of towels, one glass and 3 hangers in the room. Front desk strongly encouraged us to dine at their restaurant on the second floor which we can understand but the atmosphere was depressing. Thankfully there was a restaurant next door which was a bit livelier. Doors under cabinet sink in bathroom didn’t close - made it seem more worn than it needed to be. Shower pressure was excellent though and the staff were all great and kind. Check out was super easy. We did not stay the night as we had an early morning flight so considering that we used it as a place to get sorted before getting on an international flight home, it was fine.

The prices at the bar are pocket friendly, cleanliness' is tops. location is very convenient with minimum traffic to office. Neighbouring facilities are also great. I will surely come back to enjoy again.

• Ilham (2/5): Unpleasant stay at seashells millennium - The bed was comfortable . The wait staff was friendly. Nice seashell art in the entrance. Constant issues with plumbing, the water cut out while showering and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Turns out they turned the water off and I had to finish my shower and wash my hair in the sink. I had constant visits from maintenance only to get moved to another room with the same issues. I was under stress instead of relaxing due to packing and unpacking, knocks on the door and phone calls. The phone in both rooms didn’t work, I spent a good portion of my nights speaking with reception asking for help. The tv in one room only offered static as entertainment, while the other had very few channels and nothing interesting to watch. A smart tv upgrade would help improve the experience. Short swimming hours and the gym smelled horrible. I was very disappointed and will not be going back again.
