• Levinus Hendricus (8/5): Heerlijk voor ons 1 jarig samen zijn op Koningsdag, onbijt super en gastvrouw ook. - De situeringen, heerlijke ontvangst van de ‘eigenaar’ die ons even liet wachten om zijn kleinzoon. Dus prima en lekker familiair. X

• Manon (8/5): Prima plek om een nachtje te verblijven. - Het diner was uitstekend, we waren er in de aspergetijd. Ontbijt was prima, niet bijzonder. Kamer was schoon en netjes. We sliepen op de 1e etage. Mooie balken aan het plafond. Alles was er, mooi uitzicht over de weide met schapen. Bedden waren wat zacht en je had wat weinig ruimte om om langs het bed te lopen om erin en uit te stappen.

We kwamen ’s avonds pas later aan om in te checken en konden de ochtend daarna niet ontbijten vanwege de tijd. Eigenaar heeft aangeboden om een ontbijtbox voor ons te maken zodat wij de volgende ochtend niet zonder ontbijt naar de crematie hoefde. Zeer attent en de ontbijt-koelbox was goed gevuld.

• Guido (7/5): A lovely spot and a very homely welcome. - Location, the main building itself and dinner. We like everything but the room was not as comfortable or as well equipped as when we last visited. No hand soap in the shower room. Thermostat didn’t seem to work and we were not warm enough. Poor tea/ coffee facilities. Fewer choices than last time at breakfast.

Refurbished farm house, cozy place. Very good dinner, decent breakfast. Owner comes across as a bit grumpy, yet other staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast only as of 9:00 am.
• Joan (7/5): Nice - The quiet location, and room size. The restaurant, and wines. And the owners and staff! No coffee with milk (cappuccino or so) available for breakfast. No elevator. The bathroom might be a bit too small. There were 2 or 3 rooms on the ground floor occupied by a group of friends. They were around 50 or 55 y.o. and they made way too much noise. As the building where you stay is separate from the main building it is left to you to go downstairs and ask them to behave.

• Roger (5/5): Eccentric hotel with good breakfast - Ok location for our purposes. Main building ok. Breakfast excellent. Hosts welcoming and friendly The bedroom in an annexe i would call eccentric. It was in the roof space with a steep pitched roof accessed by very steep stairs difficult to walk up and down with a heavy bag. The bedroom itself was ok small and you to take care not to hit your head on the roof getting in or out of bed. The ensuite bathroom was odd to say the least. The shower and toilet worked well but the sink was a disgrace. On reflection I think the water must be very hard so it is difficult to the hardness marks off the tiles snd sink
• Guido (10/5): Memorable and a delightful husband and wife business with a passion for home sourced food. Good luck - Atmospheric Room Number 6 in the separate barn - a family room for 3 but we were 2. Beams, oak floor, cosy tv corner with sofa, lovely shower. Very steep stairs to get to it so not for the the mobile-challenged. Great when you get there and so comfortable beds. Husband and wife run and staffed establishment. They were full on but could do with some help - which is hard to get everywhere in Europe at the moment - but especially the Brexit UK. The provenance of the food is exemplary. They make almost everything themselves from scratch. They cure their own ham, salami, butcher their meat, make their own bread, apple compote etc. Nothing fancy but real quality ingredients.Breakfast was first class. Home cooking - and some. Beautiful buildings and location. Sheep grazing next door. 8 minutes to the A1 motorway. Due to staff issues (see above) the evening meal was a bit slow to appear and we were at the end of a long day and a long drive so were beginning to flag. Beautiful dining room though and a couple of glasses of wine helped us to chill.

• Dominik (10/5): Converted farmhouse with fantastic and extraordinary ambiance. - The converted farmhouse offers a fantastic and extraordinary ambiance. And the steam shower is pure luxury. The breakfast in the rustic farmhouse setting was fantastic! We had a lockable shed for our bicycles. The location is very peaceful, situated in the middle of the countryside. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to explore the surroundings in more detail. We didn't use the restaurant as there were no vegetarian options available for us, unfortunately.

The free toiletries and the coffee and tea facilities in the room were a nice bonus. The environment is very calming and beautiful. We were sad that we only booked one night. I think you could have nice walks there. The people were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was basic but nice. Bread, tea, coffee, fresh orange juice, yoghurt, muesli, they ask if you want an egg with bacon. There were some croissants and spreads also. We would recommend this place. Breakfast could be more to choose from.

The meals were in the garden and they were excellent! Home produce and all gorgeous, very impressed indeed. • Verified traveler (6/5): - Nette Unterkunft mit Mängeln. Es gab Probleme mit dem Abwasser, sodass die Toilette nicht richtig abfloss. Beim Duschen setzte man das ganze Bad unter Wasser. Es fehlten Haken für die Handtücher. Die Reinigung war nicht optimal. So wurde der nasse Duschvorleger einfach liegen gelassen. Insgesamt sehr hellhörig mit extrem lauter Putzkolonne. Schade, denn die Basis ist wirklich sehr schön.

• Michel (10/5): prima - het is prima vertoeven op de kemper, verblijf en ontbijt was prima. ook het eten van het restaurant had een prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding. wat wel een min puntje was het plaatselijke dorpsfeest van 3 dagen wat op het complex van de kemper was. dit gaf vooral zaterdagnacht geluidsoverlast. jammer genoeg was dit niet bekend of doorgegeven. verder is het geweldig, hele vriendelijke mensen.
