- Jana (9/5): Peaceful cottage in Oudtshoorn - The cottage is centrally located which is convenient if you want to go to town or do activities in the area - if you're not scared of walking, good restaurants are less than 2km away on foot. The swimming pool is great for summer and we didn't use the facilities but you can have a lovely braai at the pool. It was very quiet and peaceful at night and a ceiling fan helped us to sleep peacefully. The WiFi was not working but we realised too late at night to bother the hosts with this issue; I am sure they would have very quickly sorted it out if we notified them.

- Patricia (9/5): Excellent rest stop - The host, Tania's, son greeted us on arrival and guided us to secure parking behind locked gates. We stayed in a 3 bedroom family room which opened up to a seating area and a sparkling blue pool which was so inviting after our long drive to cool off. Great kitchen and bathroom facilities but the best was the comfortable beds which we all agreed provided us with the best sleep over our 11 day trip. Also conveniently located within driving distance to shops. Tania made sure to come to say hello the next day and to check that we had a comfortable stay. Lovely family friendly venue, quiet, secure and comfy.

I dont know how long she was standing and waiting because I did not confirm what time we would be arriving. She then took us to the door and proceeded to show us how the facilities operate. Everything! The friendly welcome and atmosphere. The host was extremely kind. Had little chats and had a moment of laughter. Even when we left, the well wishes and safe travels goodbye was very heart warming.
