• Katelyn (1/5): Terrible and filthy, avoid at all costs. - The two who greeted us were lovely. Everything else was terrible. It was dirty, did not match the photos at all, had not been properly prepared in advance. The photos used were obviously taken when the property was new. However, after years of clearly not being properly cleaned and maintained we refused to even stay. There was dirt and grime all over the property when we arrived. Flowers in the rooms were all long dead and shedding on the tables. Bugs, spiders and A LOT of flies in every room (even a dead fly on the bed in the main bedroom). Any fixtures such as outdoor exposed shower doors did not fully close so bugs etc. can easily come into the house. Pool was covered in leaves and dirt when we arrived. Air conditioning units had clearly been leaking for a long time on the ground outside the main living area as there was piles of dark slime under where they were consistently dripping. Countertops and tables were sticky and visibly dirty. We left as soon as we had a proper look around and checked into a nearby hotel instead. We chose to give up the 1.5k we spent to stay here for just a few nights, opting to spend over 1k more to check into a resort nearby so we could at least be comfortable. After checking the reviews online, not on booking.com, we saw this was not an isolated incident and the property owners replies to those criticisms were unapologetic and downright stubborn. They are charging 5 star hotel prices for a property that is frankly sub par. I have many photos for example of how dirty the place is but booking.com only lets us attach a few. See for yourself.
• Vladimir (3/5): Poor - Swimming pool is amazing, it is really big, water is perfect. Rooms are not bad too, however there is lack of amenities, air conditioners are leaking, and kitchen is not fully furnished. Now about the bad stuff. Cleaners are really bad, you need to repeat for million times, so they would clean the rooms and the house. Cleaned the swimming pool once or twice during the whole week. And there is noice of building constantly. And the most disgusting thing, is that cleaner girls will steal stuff from you . Throughout the week items from fridge were stolen from us, and one day our expensive sandals were taken from us. When we ask them about sandals, they mysteriously found them in the far away bushes. So it's not a secret that they took it. I left my ring in the room, girl who found it never answered my messages, so basically took my ring. NOT RECOMMENDED. If you only want to get robbed in your own villa, than you can live in it. And manager of the villa never done anything about the situation, so it's up to you to choose this villa.

The owner was very easy to communicate with. He was responsive and informative. Great pool area, beautifully landscaped. All in all a lovely villa. Thank you - we will never forget this special vacation. Only it was sad to leave the place.

• Robby (10/5): Amazing 4 day stay with 4 couples - The villa is exactly how it looks on the photos and when we had to leave we all (4 couples) wished we could’ve stayed longer! Marcelino, the property manager, is always easy to contact and always get sorted what you need. All the other staff taking care of the villa were exceptional as well, everyone super friendly and helpful! Treat yourself on an amazing holiday in this villa and you won’t regret it! I would go back if I would go to Bali again! Some small minor details for the staff such as keeping an eye on the water filter level and refilling toilet papers and such. But that’s it, besides this we liked everything about the villa!

Big and clean waterpool - great for big company! Everything was very comfortable and ideally equipped. Staff was very friendly and attentive - they executed all our requests very quickly. We also rented a car for travelling and visited many different beautiful beaches around this territory.

In addition, villa has very good location - close to the best beaches of Bali. We also noticed that villa was ideally clean and good maintained. Big thanks to staff!
• Anthony (10/5): Real paradise - We rented this villa because of its location and because we liked its appearance. But really it turned on very cozy and beautiful inside. Everything was very clean and good-maintened. Bedrooms were very comfortable - good beds, well-working aircons and so on. We had a excellent rest here. We also took a car and travelled at different amazing beaches, all of them situated not far from Doretanth.
