• Alex (9/5): We would make this our hotel of choice for visisting Bucharest and will return. - The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the Old Town, and is in a quieter location. The rooms were spacious. The receptionists were very friendly and knowlegable about Bucharest and places of interest further afield, couldn't of asked for more. No negatives.

• Remco (9/5): Perfect verblijf in Boekarest - Het hotel ligt in het oude centrum op loopafstand van vele bezienswaardigheden, restaurants en bars. De metro ligt op 5 minuten lopen en is het centrale punt waar alle lijnen samenkomen. De kamers zijn bijzonder leuk ingericht. Wij hadden Eclectic en onze vrienden Transylvania. De kamer en badkamer waren ruim. En er was een minibar die je kon gebruiken als koelkastje. Het ontbijt is zeer goed verzorgd. Alles was erg lekker. De koffie was made to order en zeer goed. Het was ook prima om nog een koffie te vragen. Het personeel was zeer aardig en behulpzaam. Boekarest heeft ons enorm verrast. Het is een mooie interessante stad en de mensen zijn heel vriendelijk. • Bea (10/5): Champagne for two is a vey nice touch. - Felt very lucky to be upgraded and had given us champagne upon checking in. We stayed in Contemporan which we are so happy about. As it is a boutque hotel each room is decorated individually according to theme, saying that, some room designs are so busy. The hotel is in excellent location, very central to everything. The steps going upstairs could do with decorating a bit as it doesnt look like its part of the boutique hotel.

We had two rooms in early May- both nicely decorated but with air conditioning that barely worked, making getting ready and sleeping very uncomfortable. We asked for a fan but they didn’t have any.

• Tania (8/5): de perfecte, rustige uitvalsbasis voor een stadsverkenning vanuit een bruisend deel van de stad - Perfecte locatie aan de rand van Old Town, waar het nog rustig is en toch vlakbij de gezellige straatjes van Old Town. De belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van de stad waren ook makkelijk bereikbaar (te voet of met de metro). Onze kamer (Brittania) grensde aan de binnenkoer waardoor we helemaal geen last hadden van eventueel nachtlawaai. Nadeel = de ramen keken uit over de receptie (geen buitenzicht) en aangezien het licht in de receptie bleef branden, was het 's nachts ook redelijk licht in de kamer. Aangenaam onthaal, correcte bediening, goed ontbijt, heel leuk ingerichte kamer met Britse accenten zoals de naam al liet vermoeden. Kamer met uitzicht op receptie/binnenkoer = geen buitenzicht/ geen mogelijkheid om de ramen open te zetten. Maar dat was dan ook het enige nadeel aan ons verblijf :-).

Nous avons dîné à leur restaurant, spécialité italienne, tout était très correct Apparemment, il y aurait une boîte de nuit qui donne dans la rue derrière, ça cause quelques nuisances

• Denise (8/5): Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding - Ligging is ideaal in Old Town. Lekker centraal maar niet in een drukke uitgaansstraat wat prettig was ivm geluid. Ontbijt was heerlijk, met goede koffie en een eitje gemaakt naar eigen voorkeur. Badkamer is prima. Alle kamers zijn uniek en in een thema ingericht. Die van ons wat wat kleiner dan op de foto's. Het was vrij warm op de kamer en het raam komt uit op de centrale hal (binnen dus) dus bood geen oplossing om die open te zetten.

Colazione semplice ma buona presso il ristorante italiano annesso. Camera sulla corte interna dell’hotel e quindi senza aperture esterne. Rumorosità proveniente dai locali esterni che fanno musica fino al mattino.

• Iman Murtadha (9/5): I would definitely come and stay in the French room again! - Spring at the time of easter was ideal! I did love the vegetable scrambled eggs! The French room was cozy, and my favorite colour is blue! It was an intimate experience where the receptionist and staff would recognize you as a guest! In the old town surrounded by many restaurants and walkable areas! Andrea gave me a warm and understanding welcome! Sebastian was helpful and genuine! The receptionist was willing to help with what they could offer, especially with luggage and tips! The transport company partnering with the hotel was a disappointment and once my cooler was converted to a heater, suffocating me at AM hours, it was fixed instantly by reception though!
• Greg (10/5): A beautiful home to base yourself in Bucharest! - It’s a beautiful building and in a great location for walking and exploring the city. The staff were what made this for me though - helpful with directions and advice and ensuring you can make the most of your time in Bucharest! Nothing! There are only stairs in the hotel and these spiral so I can appreciate this may be a barrier to some people but this wasn’t the case for me.

The staff were exceptional, friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, which made us feel very welcome from the start. The room was absolutely amazing: beautifully designed with a unique style, very spacious, warm, and clean. As a lovely surprise, we were welcomed with a glass of champagne upon arrival, which set the perfect tone for our stay. The location is another big plus. The hotel is close to everything you might need, including pubs, shops, and restaurants, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. And last but not least, Tomitza the cat was an absolute bonus. As a cat lover myself, this made the experience even more special and memorable. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would return without any hesitation. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and welcoming place to stay.
