Pool exists but not one that anyone would go to since the beach is more inviting. Would be great if they provided shuttles or affordable options to go around for food.

Stephanie (10/5): This is the perfect place to stay if you want a peaceful vacation, but it will cost you. - The property is located directly on the beach. It is quiet and the apartment is spacious. I absolutely loved it, but the location is on the opposite side of the island from almost all attractions. Rent a car, not from Andy’s at the Ferry, but definitely rent a car. Taking a taxi from one side of the island to the other is about $35-$40 one way. Spacious, clean, modern and friendly staff.

Wackyworldtravellers (10/5): Lovely facility, lovely people, lovely view. - The details (we stayed in second floor unit 5B): a cooler and a tote bag for the beach was provided in the unit; each unit was assigned a beach umbrella, lounge chairs, table; bug repellent was provided in the unit which was handy for evenings on the balcony (we at least had open railings - the Manoah next door had solid glass railings on the balconies and I could only imaging how many mosquitoes they trapped in there and how uncomfortable they'd be without the benefit of a breeze on their legs); bedside throw rugs to wipe any last sand off; foot stool for shorter people; black makeup towels; store room with free floats, sand pails, etc to use; beer and wine for purchase from the office; water buckets at entry door to rinse sand off feet; a book exchange; well equipped kitchen with quiet-close doors, kettle, measuring spoons, knives (and sharpener!); in-room safe; fitness center that had working equipment and although small was well equipped; WiFi on the beach; the list goes on! We did not rent a car for a couple of days (we had the taxi driver from the ferry stop at a store on the way so we could do shopping fro a few essentials), but we did rent one for the rest of the stay as - it was necessary to get to other areas of the island: there is no public transportation and taxis cost just as much if not more sometimes, than a $40 per day rental car (that does not include the $20 or more (depends on number of days) one-time fee for a drivers license you must purchase). 5B is the west, upper corner, ocean view unit and our only complaint was the WiFi was a little spotty in the unit.
Manuel (9/5): Fantastic location! Right on the best beach on the island. - Best location on the island! Amazing beach, lovely and super helpful staff. The rooms are large and comfortable and come with fully outfitted kitchen. There is no restaurant at the hotel, but there are a few places nearby down the beach. Given kitchen is so nice it would be great to be able to do a bit of grocery shopping and have it delivered prior to arrival.

Scilly Cay a five minute boat ride from Island Harbour serving amazing food and $5 rum punches! I like a softer bed and pillows. I have sleep apnea and suffer from insomnia, so getting quality sleep is important …..and very rare

Robert (4/5): Very Overpriced for Just an OK Apartment - Proximity to a beautiful and uncrowded beach. Wayyyyyyyy overpriced for a basic 1 bedroom apartment that didn't even have a view of the beach. Even worse, the bed was as hard as a rock, which made for 2 lousy nights of sleeping for both my wife and me. For what they charge, a far more comfortable bed would have been a basic expectation. Anguilla is expensive, so I know there are many more expensive places to stay. But this place is definitely overpriced for what it is.

john (10/5): - The Shoal Bay Villas are the perfect stay! Walk out your room and you're to the amazing white sand and teal waters in just a few seconds. The villas have full kitchens and living areas, always hot water, everything works and someone always there if there are questions. You are assigned beach chairs on the sand so there's never a question of whether you'll have a "spot!" All restaurants and bars to get a famous rum punch are within steps from your perch on the beach.

Glenn (10/5): - Undoubtedly among the top beaches in the Caribbean and this property is nestled in the best beach and best snorkeling spot in Anguilla…why go elsewhere? The builder paid careful attention to capitalize but not compete with the surrounding beauty. Staff is very accommodating. They can modernize the locks in their doors, but that’s nitpicking…because there’s nothing to complain about, lol. Nevertheless, our family’s experience here is unforgettable. The clear blue and moderately calm water, blindingly white fine sand and uncrowded beach is paradise found!

Brian (8/5): - Our stay at Shoal Bay Villas was fantastic overall, You could not find lodging that is closer to one of the best beaches on the Island, within 100 yards walking distance of great food (Menoah) and drinks (Orlajs...Rum Punch). Great umbrellas (reserved for your stay so you don't have to wake up early to fight for your space), soft sand, blue water. This place has a real family type atmosphere, Kathy and her daughters are available before you arrive (communicating before arrival on protocols and paperwork needed), when you arrive (needed to quarantine for about half a day and made sure we had dinner, breakfast) and departure. The other guests were very friendly - most had been coming back from 10 to 30yrs and offered fantastic restaurant suggestions. The room had a good size bedroom with comfortable bed and good AC, updated bathroom, galley kitchen, and living room with glass sliders that open to a patio just steps to the beach. Nothing too fancy overall, but comfortable and very, very clean! We plan on definitely going back as a couple, or doing a family trip with our college age plus children. Not sure there is enough activities and beach toys for the younger set - but we arrived the first week of November and not all the beachside spa's and sports/activity shacks along the beach were open. Anguilla and Shoal Bay Villas is a magical combination.

There are several restaurants within walking distance on the beach. The taxi from the ferry terminal was $20. Rent a car if you can. You can rent them on the property. I will be visiting next year for my birthday.
Edward (10/5): Great Ambiance and Right On the Beach! - I arrived late (after dark). The office was closed but a friendly security guard provided the key to my villa and also helped in getting connected to the WiFi. He was also helpful in providing directions to the closest restaurant, which was within walking distance right down the beach.The 2nd floor room was airy with high, beamed ceilings. Lots of windows. Ceiling fans and air conditioners. The room was clean and looked recently upgraded. Nice tile bathroom. The bed was comfortable and clean. The covered patio was roomy with several chairs and a table. The area is quiet and feels secure. The office staff at check-out time was pleasant and cordial. I only wish I had been able to book longer and had more time to enjoy the ambiance.

Balazs (8/5): Great escape for a romantic trip as a couple - The villas are located directly at the white sandy beach, perfect set for a romantic holiday. Only negative: no real breakfast (only croissant, coffee and jam) and no restaurant in the villa.

Victoria (10/5): A must stay Villa!!! - This Villa was perfect in so many ways!! I don’t even know where to start! Location, views, so many restaurants and bars within walking distances!! Villas were fully stocked and equipped with just about everything you’d need! It was a home in paradise away from home! Strongly recommend! We will definitely be coming back!
