Guest Reviews
- hyunjoo (10/5): -
- Debra (10/5): -
- Barbara (6/5): - It’s very noisy from all semis in the Walmart parking lot right outside our room. We left before they started serving breakfast at 7.
- Brian (8/5): Had fun with the grandkids - Location Pool was small no hot tub they serve the same breakfast each morning one elevator was out of order come Sunday the other elevator wasn’t working
- Mary (10/5): It was clean, comfortable and very friendly staff! - We loved everything about this property Nothing
- Teddy (8/5): -
- michael (10/5): Perfect - Had the perfect stay- clean quiet and very accommodating especially the desk person at check in. If we’re ever in Nebraska again will stay there
- Dave (10/5): - Good breakfast
- Landon (10/5): - Clean and comfortable and staff was welcoming. Highly recommend if you are traveling and need a nice place to stay.
- Schoenholtz (6/5): -
- elizabeth (8/5): -
- Flossie (8/5): - nice hotel clean and comfortable
nice breakfast. would suggest that they have tortillas available to make a breakfast burrito.
- Marta (10/5): - Good overnight stay
- Kristin (4/5): - The room was average, but there was dust all over the headboards, the nightstands, the lamps. The bed was made so haphazardly and the sheets were wrinkled. We thought sure someone had slept in the bed prior to us.
Both mornings there was no hot food left for breakfast. Thank goodness there was mango and we found an English muffin.
We just felt the place could be a little cleaner a little more organized.
- Bruce (10/5): -
- Jodeen (6/5): - Direct TV server not working properly, maybe repair tech would be there Monday after I had checked out. Only one ice machine working, and that was on the 4th floor, my room was on the 3rd floor.
- Yvonne (10/5): - Comfortable beds, good lighting Tv was not functioning properly
- Gary (6/5): - The hotel was nice. Quiet. Comfy beds. The wifi did not work and the TV only had limitrf channels. Wi-
- Angela (10/5): - Clean room, quiet, comfortable beds
- Cara (8/5): Best Affordable Stay Near Cheyenne - Really great and affordable option near Laramie/Cheyenne. If you have flexibility with location, you’ll save staying here! Hotel was clean, halls and rooms are a bit dated, but rooms were very comfortable.
- Laura (7/5): -
- Steven (7/5): Decent facility except for some minor noise. - Location, location, location. This is a nice facility. We were a little disappointed due to noise. We have stayed here a number of times but the noise in the room on this trip was not great…hallway traffic, doors shutting, foot steps from adjacent rooms. It was a little disturbing—maybe due to more guests at the facility?
- David (8/5): - The hotel was brand new and very clean. I would recommend in a heartbeat, except for one thing which I took off a star. A king size bed was short blanketed. They tucked in the blankets at the bottom of the bed, which is fine, but they took them into such an extent that they didn’t reach where they should up at the other end. It was like they put on blankets for a full-size bed instead of a king size. You couldn’t bring them up to your chest. I had to sleep on an angle so I was covered. Not the end of the world, but it definite nuisance.
- Lauren (8/5): - Nice people work there.. could be cleaner
- Steven (8/5): The Fairfield is one of our favorite stop over points route along I-80. - Great facility, excellent location. One minor issue—one bed in our room had not been changed. I am certain this was a simple oversight. We simply changed the bedding and all was well. (Note: We have stayed here several times in the past with zero issues. We will definitely stay here again.)
- Briant (8/5): Very good location with basic restaurants around.we will be back - Clean and convenient. Great bed and modern room However, the breakfast was far below industry standard and very poorly attended by a young man.
- Lindsay (10/5): Great place - Clean spacious room, comfy beds, friendly staff. Lots of parking. Close restaurants and stores.
- Kiel (8/5): - 2nd floor room not so clean and very noisy
- Andrew (10/5): - Excellent staff made us feel welcome and the room was clean and quiet.
- Susan (10/5): - Clean! Friendly and up to date!
- Julio (8/5): -
- Ruth (4/5): - The air conditioner was making so much noise that we could not run it. The bed was lumpy. The gentlemen that checked us in was kind, but the women who checked us out was rude. The inside of the lobby was nice, but the outside grounds were very unkept, weedy, and nasty.
- SammieJulia (2/5): WARNING: AVOID FAIRFIELD INN IN SIDNEY, NE!!! - This is the second time we’ve stayed in this hotel on different times of the year. But each time, we had issues with NO local channels and NO internet in our rooms; we can’t even make our next Marriott hotel reservations for the next stop. They gave same reason of “recent storms have come through, and they can’t help, at all”. This time, we spoke to the manager, Cattrina, and was left feeling like she couldn’t care less about the issues; and I am a Platinum member! The general impression we were left with is it’s all corporate fault. No amount of complaining will yield results. NEVER, EVER STAYING THERE AGAIN!!!
- Jan (10/5): - Very polite staff with clean entrance. Very clean in our room. Check in and out were easy.
- Cameron (10/5): - Great stay
- Jesse (8/5): Nice hotel, nice location, just seems to still not have all of the bugs worked out. - New facility. Cleanliness. Friendly staff. Could hear doors closing in hallway, footsteps and people talking upstairs. No clock was in the room. WiFi did not work either. Called the front desk, who tried resetting the WiFi, but we still could not log in.
- Nancy (10/5): Great stay in a quiet clean and comfortable room - Clean, well stocked nicely decorated
Great reception Na
- Prudence (7/5): - Newer and very vlean Only 1 wash cloth. Breakfast eas ok but not great.
- Christi (4/5): Not a great stay this time around - We typically love staying at this Fairfield. However, this stay the breakfast in the morning was terrible. The amount of food was not enough for the amount of guests- the coffee ran out, no one refilled or made more food.
- Janet (8/5): - Shower had great water pressure. Curtains were a problem. They wouldn't stay together in the middle so, the room was very bright with the outside light.
- Susan (10/5): - Was able to get in early and everything was nicely cleaned! Good bathroom but it needs an exhaust fan. Good stay!
- Derek (10/5): As advertised - Property was nice and as advertised
- Kim (10/5): - No
- LeeAnn (10/5): - Wonderful stay
- Robert (10/5): - Looks new
Very clean and quiet.
- David (4/5): - At check in we were told breakfast would serves until 10am. Next morning at 9:05 almost all the food had been removed because a kitchen worker said it closed at 9am. Lovely.
- Donna (6/5): - Only challenges we had was the noise from all the semi trucks parked around the property and our room smelled like a HS boys locker room. The latter was solved with some Febreeze
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent. Delicious and variety of choices. Nothing,
- Shirley (6/5): - The telephone did not work, the wifi was spotty and kept dropping. Staff seemed unconcerned
- Mathew (1/5): Bad - Cancelled the room and got charged a fee. Come on man! They ripped me off
- Dennis (10/5): - This property is a distance from the interstate. It has always been very clean.
- Debra (10/5): Very accommodating - Location cleanliness All good
- David (8/5): Mostly good, needs refills. - Disappointed that the shower soaps/lotions were empty.
- Nita (10/5): - The lady that checked us in that night was AMAZING!!!! Thank You!!! The breakfast the next day was not. You had a gentleman that was very rude to customers!!! the milk that was offered in the fridge at breakfast was spoiled and his comment was, that's all we have it's date is March 31 it's fine. Well it's not fine when I'm trying to feed 5 of my grandchildren, and 4 of my grown children whom which is pregnant. I didn't catch his name but his head is full of tattoos which doesn't bother me but his attitude did!! Breakfast was cold . Very disappointed
- Jennifer (8/5): good place to rest for the night. - Good quality hotel. staff was friendly
and all amenities were standard but good. dont hesitate to stay if you need a place in sidney.
- charles (8/5): - Breakfast was rather meager. Locations was rather tucked behind a vacant lot that was unmarked. Didnt know if ut was a thorough fare or what. Tried driving thru but got out of it quickly when we decided it could harm our tires.
- Amy (10/5): - Very nice room. Very clean. Comfy bed. Good breakfast.
- Brookelyn (7/5): Short and Sweet - How close it was to everything Nothing
- Kathie (8/5): Very good -
- Brenda (10/5): - Great place to stay. It was quiet with comfortable bed and the room was clean. The breakfast was a 10 .
- Sally (7/5): Good - Room cleanliness especially the bathroom.
- Kamil (10/5): - Very helpful and Professional
- Karl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Holly (10/5): - Free breakfast was perfect
- Emily (10/5): Love this place, our favorite! - Everything, 3rd visit and this place is exceptional. So clean, friendly, nice breakfast, big bathroom. My daughter and dogs were right at home and staff very accommodating of room request. Cleanest property weve stayed at in years! Will be back! Wish they had more yard not rocks to walk pets
- Emily (10/5): Great! - Everything
- Timothy (8/5): All went well—from checkin to checkout. - It was fine. Nothing comes to mind.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cathie (5/5): Passable - Breakfast was good - a nice selection for people with different dietary needs. The Wi-Fi did not work in the individual rooms. We had to go down to the lobby or sit in our car in the parking lot to receive Wi-Fi. The solution to the problem was not adequate from staff.
This hotel is new construction and it seemed cheaply constructed.
- KayleneL_13 (2/5): Unacceptable! - The elevator was not in service for our stay and had not been in service for several days and would not be in service for several more days but we were not notified of this prior to our arrival. We had to carry our luggage up the stairs and my husbands health would not allow him to do so. The manager should have tried to notify us of this in advance so we could have made the decision whether to change our plans or not. Totally unacceptable and dangerous for people with health issues. Manager failed us.
- Todd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laurie (6/5): - When we got there the elevators were not working. We had to carry everything up 3 flights of stairs. I asked for a discount and nothing could be applied including a refund because I booked through cheap tickets. I was told they would have the manager contact me and that never happened. I am 65 years old and this May would have made me choose another location had I known.
- Carol (10/5): - New hotel. Clean. Across from a new Walmart. Convenient location right off I-80.
- danny (10/5): - nice service at front desk and the breakfast
- Hanna (8/5): - The rooms were nice. The pool was super tiny and COLD! It was a bummer since I have small children who were really looking forward to swimming! Breakfast wasn’t open until 7, which was another bummer since we had to be out of there sooner than that. Just seemed pretty late for a hotel breakfast.
- Gregory (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Tori (6/5): - Wi-Fi did not work, Fire pit was broken, pool was cold.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Clean, quiet and pet friendly.
- Deborah (10/5): - Comfortable beds, great breakfast with topping bar for yogurt, hallways smelled great!
- Stephen (10/5): - Nice folks, great room
- Emily (10/5): Clean, comfortable, great breakfast and staff - Everything, will be back! Best hotel of our trip!
- Laurie (10/5): - CLEAN inside & out. EZ freeway access.
Friendly staff. Room is very quiet, bed(s) comfortable, nice large bathroom!
- Jane (8/5): - We had a good stay but 2 issues: traveling with siblings 11 and 13 and thought we had 2 queen beds but only had 1 king and a pull out. My husband and grandson had to sleep on the pull out (sofa bed) which was small and very uncomfortable! 2nd, I travel with an emotional support dog and at check in I had to pay for a pet, an additional $25! It should state the rate and exceptions on the web site and not just say "pet friendly". This was the first time in years that I was charged. Fortunately, I spoke to the manager at check out and she said I should not have been charged and removed the fee. Thank you!
- Kari (10/5): - After a terrible experience with another hotel the same evening, the Fairfield Inn took care of us. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you!
- Ronda (9/5): Superb -
- Shannon (10/5): Fabulous - We will continue to stay at your place. Our son and daughter in law live in Sidney and just had a baby. We will need to visit often as we live in Colorado.. we will be frequent guests.
- Janine (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful with a wide variety of selections. Staff was friendly and helpful. I loved that we were right next to Walmart! The air conditioning unit was noisy and interrupted my sleep.
- Jessica (6/5): It was okay. - Overall, the hotel is nice. Clean rooms, showers, location etc. the breakfast needs some help. Not great choices and everything was gone by 730am. Hot breakfast was meh, cold options were meh. Probably our least favorite Marriott breakfast. Our door lock was also a nuisance. Could not close the door unless we scanned the key card 2X every item we tried to close it. Also waited 15 minutes to checkin with a line of 6 people also waiting when no one was at the counter. An okay stay but would likely pick something else if I had better choices, which are pretty limited.
- Richard (8/5): - Easy to get to
- Karen (7/5): Good - Very good..
- sdbeckwith (10/5): Great family hotel - Great hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfast is very good, lots of options to keep everyone in the family happy. Everything is very clean and maintained. Pool area was very clean and welcoming. Fitness center is wonderful too. Walmart is very close for any extras you might need. Manager Catrina went above and beyond to help make the stay just perfect.
- Shelley (10/5): - We need handicap accessible and it was great for that.
- Janet (8/5): - Lightbulb out in room but was quickly replaced. Phone in room didn’t work so couldn’t call the front desk. Convenient to Walmart which is immediately behind the inn.
- Sean (8/5): - The staff were very welcoming. The hotel is clean and well kept up.
- Jeff (10/5): - Clean, tidy, friendly staff, nice breakfast!
- Margie (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. This was by far the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in a while. Loved the bathroom. It was huge.
- Thomas (10/5): - Very nice place!
- Lance (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (10/5): - Adequate facilities
