- kimberly (6/5): - Just wish they had more organization as they did not know I had reservations and moved me. I did get closer to beach however
- francesc (4/5): Disappointing John's Rooms - They did not come to the port as they said they would to pick me up or at least show where the property is, which is impossible to find on your own specially when it's dark. The owner seemed to have serious problems understanding that since I had arrived 2 days later due to the bad weather and ferries being cancelled, which he knew and I had warned him by email, my departure was also postponed 2 days, which were paid for. He made me feel very uncomfortable. And the place was empty in January !! And finally, he tells me that my dog was a problem when he was with me all the time being quiet and calm like always, so they are definitely not pet friendly like they say. I went to another place on the island and it was great, quite a relief. I think that John's rooms should be taken out of Vrbo because it has nothing to do with the general hospitality and friendliness of the Greek Islands which I have known for years.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The bedding was not clean and there were stains on the comforter. The toilet and bathroom also did not appear clean and there was a crack in the toilet seat. The location was not what was explained on the site and was challenging to find the place. The outer part of the place was well kept. John came and met us to let us in. Both my partner and I got a weird feeling as he did not leave our space right away. He also did not know if we had paid ahead or not.
- Anna (8/5): A due passi dal centro e dal lungomare di Parikia. - Abbiamo preso due stanze da John, una era spaziosa e nell'altra un po difficoltoso muoversi tra il letto e la piastra per fare il caffè. In una delle camere la finestra del bagno si apriva sullo specchio. Spazio esterno troppo assolato per fare colazione,basterebbe un ombrellone per risolvere il problema. Spero di essere utile a John e signora con questo consigli. Con pochi accorgimenti diventerebbe perfetto. Comunque ci tornerò ...camera pulita cambio biancheria ogni due giorni e vicinissimo al centro.

- Luc (10/5): Worth it because of owner! - Owner was kind enough to be waiting for me at the ferry terminal (he had a sign with my name on it!) and then drove me to the studios, even though I had not made any arrangements for this! He kindly pointed out local shops on the way. Rooms were in great condition and very comfortable. Thank you Mr. John!
- FRED (6/5): On grimpe un peu, très peu mais c'est bon! - On domine Parikia, 500 mètres, mais on respire, on dort sans AC, donc sans bruit, en paix. Les propriétaires, même s'ils semblent un peu "intéressés " sont tout à fait gentils et serviables , mais c'est difficile pour les grecs en ce moment et l'on ne tarde pas à transformer ce qui au départ est un deal en vraie relation. Ces 3 semaines se sont déroulées sans qu'un jour nous pensions à quitter nos hôtes. Séjour sympa.
- Åsa (8/5): Rent och fräscht - Rent och fräscht. Rekommenderas att bo någon vecka. A/C och wifi funkar. Räkna inte med fullutrustat pentry!
- Ann (6/5): Pleasant complex town and country. - The rooms are basic but you have all you need for your stay and a great budget option. John and his wife are beautiful people and will help anyway they can do make your stay a happy one. The rooms all have patios and mine overlooked the local little farm yet was only a few minutes to town.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Adequate - Adequate, but not for longer than three days. One draw back was that there was no sink with water in the studio so you had to use the bathroom for water and washing up.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Quiet location,easy walk to the centre/ferry/beach - The studios are in the process of being refurbished and were well equipped compared to others. The location is difficult to find but are signposted from the pharmacy at the crossroads. (The Hotels.com map location is not correct, it is further out of the centre than it suggests)
