• MEI KUEN DOROTHY (5/5): - location is good. Breakfast is ok. TV , Wifi, air-conditioning is not working properly. Bathroom is not too clean. There should be a door in the shower area, but to improveinstead there is a glass door in the toilet area, don't see the point! As there is a sliding door to the bathroom/toilet. When water going into the drains, both shower and the wash hand basin, there is very loud noise. Could hear the next door noise as well. To improve the above.

• Joanne (10/5): Nice and Clean 4 star hotel - Room are clean, spacious, very nice view from our room. Staff are polite n friendly. Walking distance to food court. Walking distance to the lake. Same building in taiping mall. Good breakfast spread. Delicious. Will definitely come back. The swimming pool looks dirty. Many user do not wear proper swim wear. Maybe the front desk staff have to inform the guest to follow strictly the swimming pool attire rules during check in.

• Tricia (9/5): Comfortable stay - Excellent location right next to food and directly connected to the mall next door. Free parking is a huge plus and made it super convenient. You just need to validate your parking coupon with the front desk each time before you head out. Room was comfortably sized, bed was comfortable as well. Clean, and staff were get warm and friendly. Wine fridge in the room has a blue light that is permanently on even at night with the lights off. Didn't bother us too much but if you need total darkness bright an eye mask.
• Ahmad Tajuddin (10/5): Great location by the Taiping Lake and Hills Range - You were able to check us in quickly on arrival at 3.00pm with the room ready. Ample covered parking. Counter service snd staff was brilliant with able, knowledgeable and friendly. Being on the top most floor was a bonus. Our room was spacious and cosy. The bathroom and shower was wonderful. The glasswindow view of the town and the lake was very clear in the daytime. However in the early morning - the difference of indoor-outdoor temperature resulted in condensation somewhat obscuring the view of the misty hills and lake. We, of course compensated this by doing the must-do-morning walk around the lake! Takes about 7 mins walk to arrive at the lake water edge and start the exploration. 2 hours later (only covered approx. ?1/4th of the lake ) - completed the morning with a great breakfast in the hotel! Will definitely be back! No at hand information of the main attractions of Taiping accessible from our room. Maybe tips how to cover the vast lake?The global clocks in the dining area requires a more logical layout.

• DR NURSALWA (10/5): I absolutely loved my stay and will definitely be returning to Novotel again next year. - I really enjoyed the pleasant scent in the lobby—it created a welcoming atmosphere. The bed and pillows were incredibly soft and comfortable, making it easy to rest well. Cleanliness throughout the property was top-notch, and the staff were consistently helpful and attentive. One area for improvement would be the exterior window cleanliness. Keeping the windows crystal clear would enhance the views of the hills, nature, and the surrounding town, allowing guests to fully appreciate the scenery.

• Sanusi (8/5): You dont have much choice for a good hotel in Taiping. This is one of the better hotel in Taiping. - Its the only few known big hotels in Taiping. Location is good and food is just across the road. Breakfast is so-so ... nothing different from other hotels. This is my second time at Novotel Taiping and this time the room is definitely better than before. Room is clean and all systems are working well. Bellboy is not always available. I have to push my own trolley to my car. My mistake coz i cant wait too long since my car cant park in front of the hotel for too long...its a busy road in front of the hotel.

• Orest (8/5): Gutes Hotel auch für einen mehrtägigen Zwischenaufenthalt - Gute, zentrumsnahe Lage direkt gegenüber dem lokalen Streetmarkt mit großer Auswahl an lokalen und chinesischen Gerichten sowie frischem Fisch; großzügige Zimmer, gute Ausstattung, Top-Aussicht mit Blick auf den Taman Tasik Park bzw. See (je nach Zimmerbuchung), Empfangshalle mit Durchgang zur Mall - die allerdings schon etwas veraltet ist. Gutes, vielfältiges Frühstücksangebot. Es gibt zwar ein Restaurant mit abendlichem Dinner a la Carte, aber das Angebot ist überschaubar und der Streetmarkt vor dem Hotel ist offensichtlich verlockender. Wir waren abends die einzigen Gäste im Restaurant mit bescheidenem, wenig aufmerksamen Service.

Everyone is happy. - Location and staff is very friendly Well, purchased 2 pool view rooms (assigned to level 8) but alas, the first room had a grand view of assembly ground with flag poles instead. Nice flags, although much prefer the pool. Not really a show stopper, as the other room (few doors away) had a perfect view of the pool.
