- Fiona (6/5): A disorganised hotel which needs sorting out. - Our room, the bathroom and bed were great. Bed was comfortable. Location was ok and the view lovely. Breakfast was a battle to get a coffee from a proper machine, fried egg took ages to cook. The breakfast room was on a floor not served by the lift so we had to get a member of staff to unlock the floor in the lift as my husband uses a wheelchair. Ridiculous system and we were not warned at check in. The swimming pool was very warm and small, the sauna nowhere near hot enough. The shower in the wellbeing area was in a toilet, smelled horrible and was unpleasant. There was nowhere to get any water to drink unless you already had a bottle. The whole hotel is just not well organised. It needs really sorting out. For the price, the same we’ve paid at the intercontinental at the O2 bears no comparison to that hotel in any aspect. A bathrobe is not complimentary… I could go on!

- Kia (9/5): Pretty views and good location - Nice river view. we enjoyed the heated swimming pool and sauna. Close proximity to lots of restaurants. We had a few small niggles, like the sink didn't drain properly so we had to ask for that to be fixed. Also, the hand-held shower kept stopping because of the lack of water pressure so we had to keep lifting the cog up to make it stick.

- Bukhari (6/5): - The view was stunning, one of the best views i’ve ever had in a hotel in London I primarily booked this hotel for the spa/pool for my partners birthday. On arrival, the lady at the desk informs us that the spa and pool are out of order. This was not communicated to us at all prior to arrival and so it changed our plans significantly. A partial refund would be appropriate given that I paid a significant amount to stay at this hotel for the purpose of the spa and pool yet was not able to access this and was not told about this either causing a lot of inconvenience.

- rozina (1/5): Please don't go to Novotel canary wharf - Major water leak before we checked in that they chose not to tell us about- still swiped my card before advising lifts not working, no water, no pool, no facilities. Water leaking into the room they gave us overnight- carpets soaked and deluge coming down through electric lights. No explanation of when services may return, no pool throughout our stay. No attempts to give information or mitigate issues or transfer to other Novotel hotels or services. It was dangerous and disordered. We left a day early. They sent a bill.
- Tonia (7/5): - I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times now, mainly because of its great location and the overall look and feel of the place. The interior design is modern and stylish, and the rooms are comfortable, which makes it an enjoyable place to stay. I also usually appreciate the facilities, especially the swimming pool and gym, as they add to the overall experience. There are a few consistent issues that do impact the stay. Check-in can be quite frustrating, as there are often long queues and not enough staff available to manage them efficiently. There also tends to be a long wait for the lifts, which are quite small and shared with non-guests accessing the restaurant, making it inconvenient, especially during busy times. On this particular stay, the swimming pool was out of use due to water issues in the building, which was disappointing. It would have been appreciated if the hotel had acknowledged this by offering some form of goodwill gesture, such as a discount, especially as this is one of the key facilities. Overall, while I do enjoy staying here for the location and comfort, improvements in service and better handling of facility issues would make a big difference to the experience.

When i booked this room, the purpose was to use the sauna, hot tub, spa and swimming pool but it was out of order. I paid a lot of money for this room and i was not informed before booking the room which was very disappointing as it was suppose to be relaxing. It was a present for my girlfriends birthday and a treat to myself for beating cancer in the new year. My room 2910 had no power when i arrived. I told bar reception about it and they called downstairs to inform them. I went back to the room to check if power was on a few hours later and then had to go back upstairs to tell the bar reception my power still doesn't work, so they called again and they sent someone to resolve the issue.

No shampoo in room which I only discovered after stepping into the shower. I booked the hotel specifically for the pool only to be informed (and only when I asked about the opening times) that the pool was closed for maintenance. Not even a biscuit in the room with the tea. - Seamus (9/5): - Restaurant and bar at the top are stunning. Nice little pool (just for dip and not for lengths!) and gym. Daughter cut her finger a bit on a luggage rack, but response from the hotel and staff was excellent. It is expensive, but that may be what you get for booking during the London Marathon!

- Kuda (7/5): - The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Plus the room service was excellent! You seriously need to make your TVs capable for all phones not Samsungs or androids. In today’s world 75% of people have IPhones, like where’s apple play?

- Katherine (8/5): Comfortable accomodation well located near public transport and restaurants. - Room was a good size bed comfortable good location. Carpet was quite grubby.

- lindsey (9/5): - Location is great, room lovely and spacious, the restaurant has fantastic views over the city. Staff in reception area were so lovely and helpful. The breakfast was very hit and miss with items missing, seems the chef had taken a break and we had to ask twice just to get poached eggs so everyone else had finished breakfast by the time they arrived. Shame as the hotel ticked all the other boxes
