- TrevandSops (2/5): No response - We rebooked after a problem with our first booking in November 2018, due to leaking pipes. Were due to go this weekend and stay in the penthouse. Have emailed and telephoned, leaving messages, all week and still have received no acknowledgement of key collection or confirmation of our booking. We were travelling a long distance and so are unable to risk travelling down and not having anywhere to stay. We had booked our dogs into kennels for the weekend and because we have cancelled we have additionally lost money for this. What was going to be a fabulous weekend has been ruined and left us out of pocket. Interestingly if you try to book for these suites there appears to be no availability going forward. If you are in difficulties at least let people know so they can make alternative arrangements. Good customer service or a phone call or email costs nothing. Be careful if you choose to book these.
- martynroberts2018 (10/5): Excellent! Second time around - These suites are superb. This time we stayed in the Tudor Suite and were highly impressed. Very spacious with high quality fixtures and fittings. This is our first choice hotel for trips to Worcester.
- Breezy4444 (8/5): Great location though parking a pain. - Really nicely decorated modern apartment with great artwork. A bit of a pain to park but found St Martin's car park about 7 mins walk away that was locked at night and charged £7.30 for 48 hours. Needs number on front door as wasn't easy to find. The apartment has everything you need , tea/coffee/biscuit tray. Microwave, dishwasher and tablets. Oven /hob . Iron, hair dryer, toiletries. Great TV , WiFi and Alexa. Easy to use electric rads in rooms. Nice shower, door knob on bathroom door is very stuff and thought we had got stuck in there a couple of times. Electric rads easy to use and warmed flat up quickly. Would definitely recommend and would book again if returning to area.
- emma (10/5): Delighful find - Was able to drop bags in before check in & our apartment was then ready...was greeted by the delightful cleaning lady...who also left milk in the fridge for us...the decor & furniture was too my liking & accomadation was clean & had a fab central location, would defo book again, thank you

- JezD (2/5): Utter Rubbish! - Was booked in only to be told an electrical fault meant we had been booked into a 'similar' hotel only to find out it was a tired, outdated flea pit that was no where near the so called 'luxury' boutique we were expecting and had paid for! He promised us a partial refund and then NEVER returned our calls . Dodgy, don't take the risk!!!
- Joanna (8/5): Could have been great.... - Good accommodation with plenty of room for 2 people. Good central position in Worcester city centre. Warm and clean. Arrangements for checking in could have been better. Followed the instructions but no one picked up phone and had to leave a number of messages before we finally got a call back therefore standing around for a while in the cold. Also accommodation advertised as free parking which was a key reason for choosing this accommodation.We were instructed to park in NCP, we could not access parking pass as were not given the code to box, texted contact number twice but never got an answer. Consequently had to pay over £13.00 to retrieve car. Very disappointing ... can this be remedied? A real shame. Also issues trying to connect to wifi.

- RobD2147 (8/5): Nice apartment in great location - Nice spacious apartment (Friar suite), good general decor and furnishing. In an ideal location for Worcester - near cathedral and shops but more importunately on a great road that has lots of good restaurants and bars etc. Suite did suffer from some 'wear and tear' that spoilt it a bit (flaky paint on bathroom ceiling, broken door latch and coat hooks also shower control,did not work well and it was difficult to mix enough cold to make the water cool enough to shower under. Parking was expensive (£26 for 2 days) and communication with owners was not ideal although they were contactable to enable easy access to the property.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Perfectly pleasant flat- not Boutique but more ‘home from home’. What let it down most was no reply to the 2 emails I sent ahead of my stay- one via Expedia and the other direct through the actual flats website. Also when we got there I phoned the number which I found on the flats’ website and it went to an answer machine with a message with a number said hurriedly for a mobile which was the ‘bookings number’. It took 10 minutes for them to call back. So where I stayed- the shower curtain needed replacing, one of the wardrobe doors looked like it had been melted, the TV in the lounge is too high on the walk to watch comfortably and the coffee machine kept leaking. Oh and the dead plant ie all leaves withered and brown in the lounge. Bathroom ceiling paint was peeling. Pluses were location, reasonably quiet, clean, felt safe. Ways it could have been improved- communication and booking in, would have been useful to have some contacts etc in the ‘welcome file’. Might be useful for the owners to try staying in for for a night and spot check the glitches. Seriously a few tweaks and this would earn the title ‘boutique’.
- AllisonS955 (2/5): Dreadful! - My problems started when I tried to cancel this booking several days beforehand and was not offered a refund. When I subsequently turned up, I couldn't find the apartments as there is no signage. When I phoned to ask directions I was directed to an anonymous grey door next to Nandos. Entrance is by phone call only, there are no staff on site. I had booked the Elgar Suite, #53. The pictures of the Elgar Suite on the website are NOT of the Elgar Suite. The furnishings are mismatched, old and tired, the decoration is poor, patchy and drab. Cleanliness was questionable. There was a view of the top of the cathedral but certainly not the view on the website. The view from the bedroom was of the Vue Cinema roof. The website lists the amenities as including a workspace, safe and minibar; there are none of these. The website is a work of fiction as far as the Elgar Suite is concerned; a complete con! I would strongly discourage anyone from staying here. You can get much better for much less money.
- das1971 (8/5): Recommend - What a delightful find! The apartment was very close to town, well within walking distance. It was very clean, modern, warm and comfortable. There are beautiful views of the Cathedral from the sitting room. I will book another stay at some point in the future and I'll also recommend to friends and family.
- Helen (2/5): - MrBowers had to cancel our room at the last miniut on Saturday morning due to electrical fault. He then booked us into another hotel over the road at the same price not worth what we had paid originally needed a massive update . Contacted owner promised me he would see about a part refund, after several attempts to contact owner he is now ignoring my calls. So all in all we have had a bad experience and would never go back. This man is definitely not a professional businessman. Hope this does not happen to anyone else spoilt the wedding we went to. Helen Dye
- hacky75 (4/5): Nice apartment but car park problems! - The apartment is well serviced and comfortable. Excellent location close to the Cathedral and town centre. A nice touch to be provided with milk in the fridge. Unfortunately like a previous review, we also had great problems with the car park ticket that didn't work. I rang the host whilst in the car park, who did not answer (twice) so I paid the £13 which should have been included in the price. He did eventually call back to say that he would refund. It's over two months later now and I've contacted him again and still nothing. I wouldn't recommend.
- Martyn (6/5): Nice rooms, Hard to find - Nice rooms, very spacious, very hard to find as they are not signed at all, not even on the entrance. Parking is in an NCP car park and we booked 3 room but got only 2 free spaces..
- deboraht589 (2/5): More "student let" than Boutique...and a poor one at that! Don't book - We booked The Friar Suite for 3 nights,from 14th June.The apartment was not as shown from the outside photos but next door to Nandos, with a very distant view of the very top of the Cathdral. The corridor leading up to it was not the approach you would expect.The kitchen was extremely tired with a dirty rusty fridge, the bathroom was far from the fully tiled photo... There was not a tile in sight, a very old shower hanging off the wall, plaster and paint falling off the ceiling and a horrible plastic shower curtain...not what I call Boutique. The lounge and bedroom were at least trying to be Boutique but furnishings very cheap.We Contacted Andy the Manager, expressed our concerns, he said he would see if he could relocated us. We waited over an hour in the apartment, he hadn't got back to us, so we found our own accommodation, back in the opposite direction to where we needed to be, as Worcester was so busy. We were promised a refund but two weeks later are still waiting. I have stayed in many apartments and this was a real disappointment.
- Martin (4/5): Disappointed - I dont think me and my partner are overly picky and if I was away with the lads we would have stayed. But we went in, looked around, and walked out and drove the hour back home. In places the suite looked lovely. In other you realised how tired it actually was. Opening or closing the broken blinds was a mission in itself, toilet cistern hanging off the wall, cob webs and spiders in the windows, the bed.... sitting on it alone I could feel my bum hit the the base. It may have 'once' been a lovely suite but not now that I was happy to stay in.
- erin-x (10/5): Penthouse apartment stay - Location was excellent - I don’t think you could get more central to all the best restaurants and bars and with the cathedral outside your window, the view was lovely. Penthouse apartment was a great size, living room upstairs was lovely. Our over all stay was brilliant, with free parking it made things just that bit easier. Definitely recommend!

- adamsP2860LA (6/5): good location, great views but few disappointments - We stayed in the "penthouse" apartment for one night, the location was great, right in centre of Worcester, with views of the cathedral. The apartment was clean, and the upstairs living room was nice, the downstairs bathroom could have been better with some maintenance required around the bath with quite a bit of mould, and there were no plugs in either the bath or sink which is not ideal. There were nice touches including milk in the fridge, we didn't use the kitchen to cook but looked like it had a good level of equipment. The apartment was advertised with parking, and when checking in the agent told me to use the NCP car park, which we did. In the apartment there was a parking permit card which I was told could be used at the barrier exit in the carpark, and then returned to the flat. I tried this and it didn't work, with a number of cars behind me at the exit barrier I ended up paying the parking, not a massive issue but it was annoying to be told free parking and then having to pay! I e-mailed the hotel to tell them the card didn't work, a week on and I have had no response at all. At the very least I would have expected an apology, but no communication at all isn't the best service. Overall the location was good, and the accommodation was ok for the price we paid, it was a stop over for a night which did the job.

- f1debs2014 (10/5): Amazing stay! - I spent one night here with my husband for a valentines break- he booked this as a surprise for me and I didn't know where we staying until we walked through the door! We stayed in the Wulstan suite which was absolutely gorgeous. Very spacious with a large living room area, 2 large and very comfy sofas, large flat screen TV on the wall and a dining area. The kitchen was large with everything you needed including dishwasher, washing machine and tea/coffee facilities plus fresh milk in the fridge! The bathroom was also spacious with a very large shower- really modern and high tech. There were 3-4 steps leading up to the bedroom which was also lovely- huge comfy bed and a TV on the wall. The entire suite was spotlessly clean - have already booked to stay here again later in the year. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

- Verified traveler (8/5): pretty good - really nice apartment in a very convenient place. Nightmare to find as there is no signage whatsoever and you have to phone to get in. Overall, largely good, well equipped and comfortable. Areas for improvement - the bathroom needs to be professionally redecorated and please, please replace the filthy pullcord. The windows are appallingly bad in terms of noise reduction and really need upgrading.
- RetiredTraveller225 (8/5): Great location and excellent, comfortable, accomodation - Our stay here didn't start off too well. The suites are very difficult to find as they are not at the address shown - 54 Friar Street, but about 50 metres away on Friar Street. When we arrived at 54, the door was locked and there was no response from the telephone number given. Our thoughts were that we would be looking for alternative accomodation. Eventually,a telephone was answered and we were directed to the small white door which gives access to the suites, via a key pad operated locked box containing the door key (the code was given over the 'phone). Once inside our suite, everything was well worth the difficult half an hour spent in gaining access. We had a large, comfortable lounge, with ample sofas and armchairs and dining table, an adjoining kitchen, which was very well equiped with all necessary cooking equipment, including a new electric cooker, dishwasher, 'fridge and washing machine and ample cutlery, crockery etc. The bedroom, although on the small side, was adequate, with plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom was spotless (as was the rest of the accomodation) and well equiped bath and shower over. The suite overlooks the Cathedral and also a busy road, but this did not prove to be a problem. There is a multi storey car park within 50 metres and you are given a card for free access to it. We would certainly stay here again and would highly recommend the suites - just be prepared to have a little difficulty in finding them and gaining access.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Good location - Great location wise and loved the doughnuts on arrival. Wasn't told to complete the breakfast sheet. Fab that I got a free car park space but was disappointed that the floors in the apartment weren't cleaned. Neither were the internals of the cupboards in the kitchen, the cutlery and fridge. Crumbs were left obviously by previous residents in the kitchen and floors.
- Lesley (10/5): Great value in central Worcester - Very good appartments located in the centre of Worcester close to the cathedral. Lots of restaurants and bars/pubs in easy walking distance. Only down side was the suite was up 2 flights of stairs which may be a problem for some people, also it didn't have a wardrobe just a few pegs behind the door. However we thought it was great value for money and ideally located.
- Dave (4/5): Lovely place. Hope I have been unlucky with money - The suite was great value for money. Essentially a two bedroom flat fully kitted out with some nice luxury touches here and there. Absolutely no complaints about place, nor staff. Chloe took me through everything in double quick time as I was in a rush and met me on the street due to reception being under renovation. She was lovely and answered any queries diligently. The big problem is getting money back. I stayed on 29th July and had already prepaid in full online. I got a £75 deposit withdrawn from my card. I queried this during the midweek after my stay as I guessed it would have just been a something I neglected to pay attention to when checking in. Again, Chloe explained and informed me that the money would be returned during that week. I then got a little puzzled on Friday when I saw that not only had I not had the £75 returned to me but that a second charge from the hotel has been applied for £13. Again I contacted Chloe who told me that the charge was for wine off the minibar. I had been to a wedding with my two children and was only in the suite long enough to sleep and shower. I was assured that this must have been a mistake and that the money would be refunded. It is nine days since I have stayed and I still have not had my £88 back. Chloe was ace in terms of communication but I am sorry, holding on to my money for this long is totally unacceptable. I will be unable to recommend anybody go to this beautiful place unless this situation is somehow rectified.

- Andy (10/5): Great location modern appartments - Great location right next to the cathedral and city centre. The apartments aren't easy to find, however a text message from the oweners on the morning of the check in clarifies things. At check in all other questions such as how the free parking works are explained. The apartments is modern, clean and in good condition. There's a kitchen (but no microwave) and a few gratis essentials. The wifi is easy to use and there's a smart tv for entertainment. Bedroom and bathroom fairly cosy but adequate and well furnished. Overall a good place to stay, far superior to a budget hotel
