• E.Cardenas (10/5): Exceeded Expectations - The room was spacious and very clean. we have a window facing the restaurants behind the hotel and overseeing part of the bridge, so we got to catch the sunset. Stores and restaurants were within walking distance. The entire location of the hotel was well lit and very safe. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

The pool had a crazy amount of Clorox I haven’t been able to get rid of the smell. The sheets could’ve been cleaner. I saw stains.

I was worried that it wouldn't cool the room. The lady working at the front desk was friendly and professional. My family and I had no issues during our stay. I wished the ice machine wasn't broken because I wanted ice for our drinks. That was my only issue.

Bathroom smelled like old wet towel. Restroom showerhead looked old and corroded. Parking was horrible, hardly any space to park. Had to park out on the street, wish they had more room to park nearby. We had the Bay View but the window was washed up with some type of white grainy film on it. Could hardly see outside to the ocean. Bay view looked bad.

We had issues with the plumbing, toliet would not refill right - I liked the property was on South Padre island and within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Our toilet would not refill with water after it was flushed and there were tiny ants on our sink. No coffee pot in the rooms.

• Cody (4/5): - View of the bay was nice, close to nightlife, and felt safe. The manager, Kim, was very polite and sincere about our negative experience. Cleanliness was not satisfactory at ALL. Commonly used surfaces were not wiped, sugar ants were EVERYWHERE. Mysterious substances on the shower walls, and even more mysterious stains on the bed sheets. (See photos)

• Esmeralda (6/5): - This has been our main place to stay while on vacations, but it seems less attractive now. The first receptionist wasnt as welcoming as the once we've had in the past, now the ice machine was out of service, our room had only 3 pillows, when we asked for more they didnt have any, we needed more towels, but we had to turn in dirty ones first. It just seemed very unprofessional, and when going out for dinner, we couldnt find a parking space. The parking lot was packed! So out of 5, I rate this place a 3. Its a good place, just needs a bit more attention.
