- Anjelah (9/5): Lovely stay in the heart of unawatuna - The property is a super close walk to the beach strip with all the restaurants. It’s also beautiful and in nature. A very unique and authentic stay. The staff are kind too! There are bugs but it’s totally unavoidable as the resort is in the middle of nature. The owner clearly tries to minimise this with mosquito nets, mosquito repellant plugged into the room too and the daily cleans. It’s worth saying that I didnt actually get a singular bite out there despite it being in nature! Bring some deet and you should be fine. We were also upgraded to a nicer room! The food in town is better than the food we tried at the restaurant. It’s nice at the hotel restaurant and very beautifully presented but much better and more flavoursome in town.

- Viktorija (9/5): - Perfect stay for nature lovers who still want to stay in the city center. We stayed in the Studio and as we walked in it was an instant wow factor, pictures don’t do the justice how beautifully designed the room is. As a birdwatcher I absolutely loved staying on a swing near the pond and watching kingfishers hunt. There are so many birds, palm squirrels and monkeys, so tranquil. But as it comes, if you enjoy nature at day, you get to enjoy it at night too 😁 yes it is loud at night and I did wake up a few times due to some creatures screaming on the roof, but it’s all part of fun. You also have a lot of mosquitoes due to the pond, so make sure to use repellent thoroughly and you will be fine. The owner and the team were super friendly. I loved this stay and would recommend it. There was a planned power cut at 08:30am on our check out day, which we were not informed of. Having hair conditioner and a rack to dry clothes outside would be a very nice add on.

- Ayesha (6/5): Not a place for kids (so they say) - The place offers a bit of calm and quiet despite being located very close to beach and a busy road. Amenities were good and cleanliness was top notch. Breakfast options although limited, were very generous. From the very moment we stepped in to the place, we weren’t made to feel welcome. The place should highlight that they don’t want young kids to stay at their property. They were very hesitant that we showed up with a 4 YO (irony is I chose the place reading some good reviews from families visiting with kids) who might scream and scare away the animals. We also had to wait a good 30 minutes for our rooms despite letting the property know that we’ll arrive a bit early and requested for early check in if rooms are available) and had to settle our room bills even before we saw the room- which was still fine except that I didn’t like the tone they used with us. To keep us close, they gave us a room upgrade with one of our rooms and were boasting that they gave us a higher priced room. Place is not well lit and can get a bit scary at night to move around. Overall - not coming back to this place solely for the way we were , particularly my kid was treated.

The property has a garden with a great eco-friendly layout, making it feel like a peaceful retreat relatively close to the beach. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room experienced some exterior noise during the day, but it was very quiet at night.

De lånade ut strandhanddukar och man fick även fylla på vattenflaskor! Det var väldigt lyhört. Djurläten och sådant kan vara charmigt men jag hade rum på nedre plan och jag hörde i princip allt som gästerna över mig gjorde. Värst var när de gick runt, flyttade på saker. Så om jag bor igen så blir det 100 procent på övervåningen för allt annat var toppen!

There is a quite garden and you don’t notice that you are in center of Unawatuna. Also the beds were really good and had a good breakfast! There isn’t really something to dislike!

We had a balcony room which was lovely and well thought out with lots of thoughtful finishing touches. Bed was super comfy and good shower though the bathroom door isn’t a proper door so earplugs for ablutions if you’re not too familiar with your travel companion! We loved watching the monkeys who sometimes landed on our roof! The narrow wooden stairs to our room are a bit challenging for the less able…

- Kerstin (10/5): Eine wunderbare, grüne Oase die zentral gelegen ist! - Die Unterkunft ist eine Oase die zwar sehr zentral gelegen ist, man aber von dem Trubel nichts mitbekommt. Es ist ein ruhiger wunderschöner Ort an dem man sich gut erholen kann und das köstliche Frühstück im Garten genießen kann. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Anlage lädt zur Erholung ein und bietet für das Auge und den Gaumen alles was man sich wünschen kann. Die Zimmer sind immer sehr sauber und es war alles da, was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt braucht. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

The hotel is set back off the main tourist street in Unawatuna and is nice and quiet, set amongst the wildlife. The outside shower was a great experience and the breakfasts were delicious. One small criticism is that we could easily hear our neighbours through the walls (and they weren’t being particularly noisy)

- Johnson (10/5): - The most beautiful and serene oasis within the vibrant bustle of Unawatuna. Gayan and his colleagues made us feel so welcome and catered for all our needs. Everything was perfect. So comfortable, clean, relaxing, and most importantly, surrounded by gorgeous wildlife in their garden. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. ❤️ N/A
- Wendy (10/5): A Real haven from the hustle and bustle of Unawantuna - Everything was perfect! Stylish and peaceful. The staff were so attentive. We loved being able to fill up my water bottle from their filtered water so we used less plastic. Feeding the wild monkeys was an added bonus. I would highly recommend!

- Baris (8/5): Average - The hotel's location is excellent, close to the beach, but it looks a bit worn. The rooms are spacious and airy. The stairs leading to the upper floors are extremely steep, which might be problematic for elderly people or those with knee problems. Breakfast was not offered as an option when we booked the room. However, the breakfast menu was shown to us as soon as we arrived at the hotel.
- Mark (10/5): Fantastic stay in a great location - Beautiful rooms and a fantastic location. We had a small issue with the AC, but the staff were very friendly and fixed it quickly. Would happily stay here again, highly recommended!

- Vladimir (10/5): Все супер! Очень понравилось! Определенно будем сюда возвращаться при посещении Шри-Ланки. Крайне рекомендую - 1. Находится в 5 минутах ходьбы от берега 2. Окна номеров выходят на внутренний двор, из-за чего в номерах не слышно шума улицы, только звуки птиц из внутреннего двора 3. Очень красивый и приятный внутренний сад-двор 4. Очень приветливый и отзывчивый персонал, который со всем готов помочь 5. Чисто 6. Очень красивый внутренний сад 1. Для нас это несущественный минус, но стенки тонковаты, часто слышно соседей, часто слышно, когда кто-то проходит под окнами, хотя окна закрыты, соответственно, с улицы вас так же слышно. 2. Просто как предупреждение для высоких людей- здесь очень низкие и узкие дверные проемы- не критично, но я заходил в номер и в туалет все время пригнувшись)

- Louise (10/5): Great location and staff! - Great location, near to loads of restaurants and close to beach. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Good base for day trip to Galle and turtle beach! Nothing
- Arijit (1/5): Disaster - Worst property in Unawatuna. Nothing to like about it. Pests roaming freely inside the room. Uncooperative attitude of owner and staff. We had to checkout at 11pm at night due to this crap.
