Wir kommen wieder! - Das Mini Beach Hotel ist wirklich eine Perle, wenn man - so wie wir - eher kleine und familiäre Hotels sucht, die dennoch eine direkte Strandlage haben. Das allerbeste am Hotel waren jedoch die Menschen, die es führen und die die Atmosphäre und den Aufenthalt zu dem gemacht haben, was es war. Einfach himmlisch entspannt, mit wunderbarem Frühstück und absolut entschleunigend. Danke! Nichts, was das Hotel hätte beeinflussen können. :)

David (9/5): Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen! - Eine bessere Lage, als dieses Hotel hat, geht nicht. Man geht aus dem Zimmer und ist am Strand. Eigenen Schirme und Liegen für jedes Zimmer. Bestes Frühstück, was wir in GR je hatten. Super freundliche Gastgeber (Katarina führt das Hotel, und ihr Mann Andreas das Restaurant gegenüber). Hotel eigene Parkplätze. Extrem sauberes Hotel. Die Matratze ist für unseren Geschmack zu hart.

Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles da, was man braucht. Man fühlt sich total wohl. Alles ist tiptop sauber. Frühstück ist klein, aber sehr fein. Käse, Eier, Obst, frischer Joghurt, Nüsse, frisches Gemüse und frischer Saft…. alles da. Gefrühstückt wird direkt am Meer, wunderbarer Start in den Tag. Die Lage direkt am Sandstrand ist einmalig schön. Für jeden Gast gibt es seine eigene Liege. Der Strandbereich ist großzügig und ruhig. Einfach herrlich. Alles in allem tolles Strandhotel mit motiviertem Personal. Immer wieder gerne. Nichts

Kenneth (10/5): An absolute gem boutique hotel! - Mini Beach Hotel is a diamond among the stones that surround it. From the very warm welcome, we felt cared for and cared about. We had a view overlooking the beach and water from our well appointed room. Since it is boutique hotel, there are only 16 lounge chairs on the beach, two for each room which allows for an uncrowded beach experience. A substantial breakfast (included) started with freshly squeezed orange juice brought to our table on the patio. We enjoyed lunch there too. Every member of this family run gem of a hotel could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Thank you so much. You contributed enormously to the great vibes of our anniversary get away.

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Sandstrand und bietet inkludiert Liegebetten und Sonnenschirme an. Das freundliche Personal und die Gastgeber - Familie lesen den Gästen die Wünsche von den Augen ab. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!! Nichts!!
Sarah-Jane (10/5): A beautiful gem of a hotel. - We've returned for the second summer, it's beautifully contained and peaceful with a pool the children love and access to a private area on the beach. The owners and staff are all so lovely and friendly, the food is excellent and the rooms comfortable, clean and spacious. We will be back again next year.

Mielewczyk (10/5): Bardzo udane wakacje! - Wspaniałe miejsce na spokojny odpoczynek z rodziną. Hotel ma butikowy charakter co jest jego ogromnym atutem. Kameralna atmosfera pozwala uchwycić spokój i radość z wakacyjnego odpoczynku (w przeciwieństwie do zatłoczonych resortów). Hotel położony jest przy piasczystej plaży. Zejście do morza jest delikatne i komfortowe dla dzieci. Mimo położenia przy ulicy - hałas nie jest odczuwalny. Pokoje są codziennie dokładnie sprzątane. Odrębnego akapitu wymagają śniadania spożywane na pięknym tarasie. Mimo, że produktów nie jest dużo to są one dobrej jakości i mają lokalny charakter. Każdy z gości otrzymuje karafkę świeżo wyciskanego soku pomarańczowego. Bardzo polecam wizytę w lokalnej tawernie z przemiłą obsługą (bardzo sympatyczny i pomocny właściciel). Siba (9/5): Stylish boutique hotel directly on the beach - Lovely boutique hotel directly on the beach. The property is run by a local family who personally looks after the facilities. The breakfast directly on the sea facing terrace was the best part of the stay. Kosmas restaurant adjacent to the hotel is a hidden gem with a beautiful garden setting and very tasty local Cretan food. Despite being soundproof, you could hear the music from the Teachers Bar on the other side of the street - luckily, it's not every night. The number of sunbeds is limited, and guests tend to have the habit to reserve them early morning.

Yvette (10/5): Exceptional. - The property is on the beach so there’s no need to travel to any beaches. It’s also around a 20 minute drive to Chania and I believe there should be public transport that takes you there too. It’s clean and has all the necessary facilities, apart from an iron and a hairdryer, which we didn’t need. It is possible that they would have been provided had we needed them but we didn’t. The receptionist Isadora was a true gem, very helpful and lovely, as was Andrea, who was always so positive and upbeat. Between them, they made our stay! We liked everything.

A kettle in the room and some cold milk at breakfast for the cereal (we’re British) would have taken it from 99% to 100%. To be fair we didn’t ask for the mini-kettle and one may have been available.

I recommend eating at Kosmas Tavern For me personally the bed was a little stiff, but for my wife was perfect.
Joanna (10/5): Fantastic location to explore Chania and the surrounding beaches with a very personal touch! - - Small hotel with only 9 rooms so it feels very cozy - Amazing view of the sea from our room - Nice breakfast - But what really made it stand out even more is the amazing hospitality of Katerina and her team! If I can make a wish it would be to open the bar with drinks around 6 or 7 before dinner at the beach. Or create an honestly bar to make drinks available anytime. 😊

Louis (10/5): Amazing view and great location in Crete! - We spent over a week in this great boutique hotel. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is fresh and delicious, with variations of Greek specialties every morning in addition to the classics. The hotel has a great view to enjoy sunrises and sunset! Hotel’s location is extremely convenient: less than a 15-minute drive from downtown Chania. Plenty of good restaurants and bus stop around. Staff was quite attentative that made our stay even more enjoyable. Big thank you to Katerina who was always smiling and welcoming. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a fantastic place to relax and explore the entire Chania region! Rooms would benefit from having more electric plug and more shelves in the closet to store clothes.

Andrew (10/5): Fantastic location directly on the beachfront. Amazing breakfast. - Fantastic location directly on the beachfront. Very clean and comfortable rooms. And an amazing breakfast that you can take outside looking directly out over the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff. There isn't much to do around the hotel itself apart from walk up and down the beach. You need to plan in some trips to other locations e.g. Chania (very beautiful) or the mountains or other beaches.

Kay (10/5): Beautiful beachfront boutique hotel - It is a tasteful, well-designed boutique hotel right on a sandy beach. I could hear the sea from my room- such a wonderful way to fall asleep and wake up in the morning. Nespresso machine in the room and a great coffee set up for breakfast, not to mention the freshly squeezed orange juice. Chairs and umbrellas are free for guests and there is a small, peaceful sitting area to have breakfast and snacks. I was travelling solo this trip and felt 100% safe. The owner Katarina and her team of family members and staff were the absolute best. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. Try the family-owned restaurant, Cosmo, across the street- best Greek food I have had in many years. Definitely the best stay and meal I’ve had the whole trip. I can’t think of a thing.

Lots of family friendly restaurants nearby with delicious food and play areas for the children.

Sister restaurant across the road served some of the best food we had on the whole trip. Expensive given few facilitates and given location is busy high street. That said noise was not an issue.

Corina (10/5): Lovely Mini Beach Hotel - What we liked: - proximity to the beach; - very clean room and premises; - the products they used were of good quality: the butter was Lurpak, the coffee was nespresso, the bread was wholemeal and the list can go on; - quite an intimate atmosphere; - you can hear the sea from your room and in most rooms you can even see it from bed; - each room has a small, private terrace with a table and 2 chairs; - the breakfast was tasty, good and simple; - they lent us an umbrella to use for the remote beaches; - the staff offered us precious info and advice on traveling and visiting around; - the rooms were cleaned daily; - the staff was amazingly friendly, polite and helpful, especially Katerina. We liked almost everything with small exceptions, these are the aspects that should be improved, în pur opinion: - the breakfast could be a bit more diversified; - the bartender should be able to prepare an aperol spritz; - the food menue was quite poor; - two mornings we didn't have running water. However, each time we let the staff now about these inconveniences they did their best to accomodate us as fast as possible. We liked the hotel a lot, and would gladly return but we do believe it was a bit too expensive for what it offered.

She organised taxis for us and also let us check out later just so we could have one last morning at the beach (and all at no extra cost!).

Very clean, beds were very comfortable, Katerina and staff were so nice and we got anything we asked for. When we went on an early trip before breakfast, they packed us something to go. When we said the toilet is a bit big for our daughter, they brought us a kids toilet seat (new, just bought for us..) Would love to return here. Nothing

Everything here was just amazing, from the room design to the cleanliness, the amazing view and location ( you were right on the beach) to the breakfast and wonderful Katerina and Andreas as hosts. fist trip with our 7 month old son, they went above and beyond to meet our needs and requests. make sure you check out their gift shop, the ceramics are just wonderful. Andrew (10/5): Hidden gem - online ad doesn't do it justice - This boutique hotel on a private beach is a hidden gem! Picture-perfect setting, peace and quiet, plus a spotless and comfy place where we setup in Chania to explore the region. From the get-go, the staff couldn't help enough, staying late to welcome our family and make sure we had everything we needed after a delayed flight. Katerina was absolutely wonderful, with true hospitality, she sat with us and helped us with our local exploring plans to ensure we were equipped with all the local knowledge and avoiding all the tourist traps. Along with offering an umbrella to take with us in case the beaches were too busy, her knowledge and tips made for an even more amazing trip to this wonderful island. As if this wasn't enough, breakfast was enjoyed overlooking the private beach in a stunning setting and was all local produce homestyle cooked every day. Leaving was tough and we wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you to Katerina and her team! We can't wait to come back.

Simona (10/5): It was just what I was looking for in Crete, a nice cozy hotel by a quiet beach. - We were on vacation with our two kids and we had a one bedroom apartment which was perfect in size for our family and has also two bathrooms. It was cleaned daily. The breakfast was diverse and the food was really fresh and tasty. There are some home made specialities every day. The breakfast area is right near the beach. And the staff was just so friendly and helpful. The beach near is rather a small one, but very quiet, we had free sunbeds and beach towels from the hotel and it is a very friendly beach for kids, with fine sand and shallow water at the shore. The location is very good, in Stalos centre and right across the street there is a very good restaurant, Kosmas, with a truly nice garden and great food where we had dinner every evening. Nothing, it was the perfect accommodation.

Maria was a warm and welcoming host who made us feel right at home! Everything was wonderful! If we had to suggest anything it might be to have a larger variety of fruit at breakfast.

Being right on the beach was perfect and everything you need is nearby but it’s on the quieter bit of the strip so doesn’t feel as busy and is more laid back.

Max (10/5): A wonderful stay, we would definitely go back. - Fantastic stay at Marakas, and the very professional, friendly and welcoming people there Katarina and Maria. We had a fantastic stay at Marakas - the breakfast is outstanding including the best orange juice, and a beautiful view out on to the beach. We spent a couple of days just chilling on the beach (the sun beds are private / for guests' use only) and there is a pool where you can freshen up. The room is large, clean and beautifully kept with very good air conditioning. Bathroom facilities are spacious and very nice to use. The interior design and furnishings are of a high quality with excellent attention to detail. The wi-fi internet was slightly patchy, but we understand this is being worked on at the moment. Everything else was fantastic.
