Siv (4/5): Veldig sentral beliggenhet, men trenger oppussing - Veldig sentral beliggenhet. I utgangspunktet er flott bygg, men det er dårlig vedlikeholdt. De ansatte (bortsett var respesjonistene) var stort sett hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Rommene, og spesielt badene, trenger en oppussing. Respsjonistene gjerne kunne vært mer imøtekommende og serviceinnstilte. Vi var en familie som hadde fire rom, og flere av oss fikk beskjed om å bytte rom midt i oppholdet pga. tekniske problemer på rommene.
Dinesh (7/5): - Location was good. The room was not up to expectations considering the price charged. The window handle was loose, and the cloth hanging hooks in the bathroom were broken, which affected the overall comfort and convenience. Additionally, one of the reception staff members was not welcoming and did not provide proper information even when asked politely. Better customer service and maintenance would greatly improve the guest experience. I hope you will look into these issues and make the necessary improvements.

Cecilia (7/5): super emplacement - les chambres sont spacieuse et avoir une piscine quand il fait 43 degrées c'est un luxe. mais le mobiliers est des années 70 pour un hotel qui coute 45euro par nuit par chambre, surtout en Inde. j'ai reservé une chambre exécutive maisil y a e une fuite d'eau et s'est inondé. ils m'ont deplacé dans une chambre de standard inferieure sans me rembourser . ce n'est pas très grave , la deuxieme etait moins belle mais plus silencieuse.

Balchandran (8/5): My HAPPY stays with NEW DELHI YMCA TOURIST HOSTEL - Stay was good with staff cordial welcome and help. Rooms required renovations.(Painting & freshness). Balcony to be cleaned everyday. The bed is not comfortable (One side NORMALLY INMATES OR GUEST SITE OR USES ,the centre SIDE of the bed IS WEAK ). There are chances to roll over and fall to the floor. Solutions:-Bed to be turned to 180 degrees vertically and reverse Head and tail. Bathrooms are not as hygienic as we expected. BATH TOWELS ARE OLD. The atmosphere AND LOCATION is EXCELLENT. 👌 👍 BF & Dining not to the expectations,but fair. Staff are cordial and friendly and attentive. I wrote this review only for improvement. Totally good and we like and want to stay in our or my next visit. Regards and Thanks to the Management and staff . HOPE MANAGEMENT WILL TAKE THE NECESSARY STEPS TO IMPROVE the points highlighted. Please take the comments to positive actions. Nothing special .

Bischler (2/5): Viel Zu teuer für die heruntergekommene Ausstattung - Die Lage ist sehr gut Die Zimmer sind sehr alt, die Ausstattung wurde wahrscheinlich seit Eröffnung nie ausgetauscht, Die Armaturen im Bad waren verrostet und haben nur teilweise funktioniert. Das Warmwasser hat trotz Anschalten des Boilers nicht funktioniert. Es war zwar sauber aber insgesamt sehr heruntergekommen. Die Matratzen waren nicht nur sehr weich sondern auch so durchgelegen, dass man quasi auf dem Lattenrost lag. Bequem war das nicht. Es war auch sehr hellhörig, man hat alles aus dem Flur und benachbarten Zimmern mitbekommen. Ich war nur eine Nacht dort, hätte ich länger gebucht hätte ich das Hotel gewechselt. Für das was man bekommt eindeutig viel zu teuer!

Max (4/5): Would not recommend. Outdated and dirty, no value for money - Great location close to Connaught place. Big swimming pool for swimming laps. ATM available on site It’s more like a campus than a hostel. Everything is really outdated and bathroom was not clean at all. Paint was falling off the ceiling, sheets were ripped, balcony chairs were falling apart. Breakfast was poor. Changing rooms to the pool were just dirty with shower curtains that were hanging on a thread. For 6000 rupees per night I expected a lot more. Not worth the money.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with amenities like complementary water bottles, free wifi and toiletries. Food is also available at the hotel. Taste wise the food was average, and the price was also on the higher side. Quantity and quality wise, the food was pretty satisfactory. Lastly, every single staff member in the hotel is extremely warm, courteous and well behaved.

Anika (4/5): Heres my comparison of two hotels in the same area - YMCA tourist hotel Connaught Place vs. SaltStayz Connaught Place Price SaltStayz was overall cheaper. We paid €197 for 3 nights. YMCA was advertised on Booking.com at €192 for 3 nights, but upon arrival they charged €235. This felt misleading, especially since when we checked out early for personal reasons, staff commented that we had paid “a lot,” which confirmed the overcharge. Rooms • YMCA: The room felt old and in need of renovation. Sheets and towels had stains and holes, and the walls were marked with grease and other stains. The bathroom was inconveniently designed with steps leading up to it, and the light switch was placed far from the entrance near the mirror. I even fell down the steps at night trying to leave after being unable to find the switch. The shower worked fine with hot and cold water. Nights were quiet, but humidity made the sheets feel sticky. • SaltStayz: The room was well-maintained and modern. The bathroom was good, though water spilled onto the floor during showers and no floor towel was provided. Both hot and cold water was provided. Towels and sheets were worn and had holes, slippers were included which was nice since the floors are cold. Sheets also feel sticky due to humidity but less than YMCA. Rooms facing the road were noisy, while first-floor rooms seemed more peaceful. Our room was bright, and equipped with AC and a fan. Food & Drinks • YMCA: Provided 2 bottles of water (500ml each) per day, with extra bottles charged separately. Breakfast and dinner were included in our booking, but staff initially tried to claim dinner wasn’t included until I showed proof. Food options were limited but tasty (and spicy). • SaltStayz: Offered unlimited free bottled water. Breakfast wasn’t included in our booking but was available for 500 INR per person per day. Instead, we chose to eat at Haldiram’s nearby, spending only 300 INR total.
