- Shelley (9/5): Wonderful stay made the 30 min drive to Mid South Gravel Race SO worth it! - The staff was very friendly and the lobby & breakfast room was clean, fresh, and inviting. Sadly, the pool was closed due to an ice storm. The wind was howling, and something on the exterior was rattling. When I shared news w/front desk, they quickly offered to move us to a new room. We stayed for 3 nights for a gravel race, and the location was near the hwy, but not right on the hwy, which we appreciated. Our "suite" was perfect size. Loved the extra sink to clean water bottles, etc and counterspace was wonderful to make our own quick meals . The couch and window seat were great too! Great stay overall!! I'd replace the foot ottoman that has a big tear down the side.

Loud HVAC, torn material on furniture. Slow elevator. Deadbolt wouldn’t close (misaligned door). I could go on.

Nice variety as well. The fitness room and pool are 24 hours so that made it nice so we could be up and get on the road earlier. All and all it was great stay we chose to stay there on our way to South Padre and then home from South Padre and both nights were beyond amazing.

- Kendra (10/5): - When I was checking in, I was asked what floor I preferred. I don't think I have EVER been asked that before and I stay in quite a few hotels. The holiday decorations were very nice. I liked the Christmas trees decorated in fall colors, not skipping this season.

Was here for a wedding in Stillwater so it was only 30ish mins away from there which isn’t too bad of a drive! Very clean room and bathroom, free breakfast, has a microwave and mini fridge in the room, and AC worked great! Staff are very friendly and helpful if anything was needed! Would stay here again!

The employees at Microtel were very patient and kind while accommodating our family’s special needs. Karen at the front desk was truly amazing and friendly. Housekeeping staff were equally helpful and responsive. We had no issues at all during our stay. The handicap accessible room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We appreciate the extra effort to ensure we had adjoining rooms. Thank you so much for making our stay enjoyable!

The room was not made up from previous guest. Very odd. Returned to lobby and front desk quickly changed out our rooms. New room had power and was made up. Very clean.

The lady that checked us in was very nice. The one that checked us out was too. 4 towels and 4 wash cloths would be convenient in a double queen room with 2 people. Also- clean the vent above the shower. Kinda gross.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - Booked primarily because traveling with children and wanted the pool/spa for entertainment - these facilities were closed under maintenance but nowhere during booking was that mentioned. When asked for any of kind of accomodation for the false advertising, I was given an excuse that because I booked third party, they would not give any discounts. Meanwhile, wildfires were ongoing in the area, because of that we were forced to abandon our trip to the area and they told me they would refund me a night due to the natural disaster - but when time came for that, they still claimed could not help me due to booking with a third party. So do I not use hotels.com or do I not use the hotel? I am sure certain accomodations could have been made, regardless of the third party booking.

- Discover40964910203 (10/5): Recommend to everyone! - The best in many ways! We travel frequently staying in the Wyndham family rooms mostly. I have to say this was the cleanest, beds super comfy, and friendly employees to date of them all. Family oriented with games in the common area! We Definitely will stay again if needed in the area! Don't forget to stop by the drink station tons of options at a good price as well!

The breakfast is a nice bonus. The location off I-35 is also good. I have recommended this Microtel to several family members.
