bremow (10/5): Bright spot in a sore situation - Melissa is the reason I enjoyed my stay so much, and the reason I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if at all needed. My family and I are new to the area and had a mishap with our moving truck and had to extend our stay longer than expected. Melissa was such a bright spot in such a sore situation. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and that we were comfortable and welcome. I cannot thank her enough for her hospitality, and for just being her. Thank you!
Paul (10/5): - First, the staff. Been there several times and staff from front desk to the house keepers always very quick to help and will drop what they're doing to see to my needs first. Second, I love coffee and they have always had fresh coffee throughout the day and counter is always stocked up with supplies. I also love the amenities of the room like a kitchenette with a full size fridge and a burner to cook on. While I have the good fortune of staying where I want My Place will always be my go to for overnight stays. There is nothing I can think of that I disliked.

deannarag2024 (10/5): My Place to be. - The staff are super helpful and friendly. And hanging out in the there cozy lobby area. The rooms and clean and comfortable. They are pet friendly!!! They have grills outside that are perfect for making family meals. They have a small shop that is convenient. A really nice touch is if you leave an extra blanket you brought they will add it to the bed when the remake it.

You can’t advertise that you have a kitchenette included if you don’t have any plates, glasses or silverware. They want you to PAY for forks and plates and anything you might need. That’s just not right. The HVAC was noisy and we needed to keep getting up to get it to the right temperature. It didn’t self-regulate well. And the bed was squeaky. If you rolled over, it would wake you up. We didn’t sleep well that night at all.

Cindy (4/5): Not the best experience - The lady at check in was extremely friendly. That’s the only reason this didn’t get one star across the board. The room was not very clean and had a very strong bleach smell when we first walked in. Didn’t think anything of it, left and came back and the bleach smell was gone but it smelled horrible. The toilet seat was old. I don’t want to say it was dirty necessarily but it wasn’t inviting me to sit on it. And the worst part, after laying on the bed, I noticed what looked like an old blood stain on the comforter. We decided not to sleep here. We went to the front desk to check out and I was going to explain the situation to the lady at the front desk, but she was outside doing something and couldn’t be bothered. I was overly annoyed so I just told her I wanted to check out handed her my keys. She didn’t ask any questions and we left.

Vive (6/5): Bring your own forks, cups, plates, and bowls - The thing to know about this hotel is that although it has a kitchen, it has zero kitchen amenities. Not a spoon, fork, knife, mug, or plate. Nothing. They have paper plates and plastic utensils at the front desk, plus regular plates etc FOR SALE. I'm not sure why they have kitchen facilities if they have nothing that you need to use the kitchen. I know some people travel with their own knives or pans, but plates? Silverware? In general, everything at this hotel is done as cheaply as possible, which is not the fault of the management but rather the brand itself. I wouldn't stay here again.

No breakfast was provided, but coffee bar was adequate for us. Hotel is pet friendly, and our room did not smell clean. Hotel staff needs to do a MUCH better job deodorizing rooms. Would be ok if you're traveling with pets and don't mind the smell of the LAST guest's critters.

Julie (6/5): - Well, you get what you pay for… but that is not necessarily negative, but honest. We chose this over La Quinta and the other more expensive stays on the strip based on the reviews, which were wonderful. After doing a cross country trip and staying and spending so much money we thought this would be a great opportunity to try a new chain. I must say the staff was absolutely excellent!!! I just wish that the accommodations were as well. There is a known problem with the room keys, and fortunately the director of some operations was there and she showed the staff how to fix it (until they get the upgrades in September), but there was a problem with our actual first room door, plus it was right next to the elevator, and we were exhausted so even though they were booked as someone was canceling, they immediately got us into another room. Again, the staff was excellent. However, the room smelled awful. The table was dirty with crumbs. We went downstairs to purchase some dryer sheets to put in the air conditioning vents and they were so kind to give them to us complementary… but that did not help until we bought some spray from a local store and that took care of it. The bed mattresses were comfortable however the frames had springs and they were so incredibly loud with every movement not to mention no ice machines except in the actual freezer that we had to turn on, and it was incredibly loud and woke us up a few times when the ice dropped. Won’t stay again unless we have to.

Steven (10/5): Lubbock trip review - It was a good trip over all. They had I change my room once because of a mix up and the new room had an adhesive smell because of something being replaced. Overall, it still gets a 5 they were kind, prompt, friendly and gave me no issues at all. I would highly recommend it’s a good balance for the budget and far better than other less costly hotels.

How many people are being ripped off. That's A LOT OF MONEY.
