Jamie (10/5): Little slice of heaven! - The cabin (cabin 1) was so nice and cozy! The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of towels and washcloths and all other supplies as well. The location is pretty deep in the mountain. You have plenty of privacy from the neighboring cabins. The views are spectacular! The screened in porch is nice, although we didn't use it much as it was quite chilly. The Trillium trail is a good little hike around the cabins area. The owners were super nice, the cinnamon twists were so good!! I didn't anticipate how dark it would be trying to get to the cabin from the town when we arrived after sunset. No ones fault except my own. The roads are pretty windy but were much easier to navigate during the day :)

Bruce (10/5): Never again. - The cabin is beautiful from the outside. I opened the door because the key was already in it. It looked beautiful. We live in the mountains of PA and wanted to stay off the beaten pack. Such a beautiful cabin on beautiful property. The gentleman I spoke to was kind as was the lady I spoke to as I was leaving never to return. It would've been nice to be told at the onset during the FIRST phone call about what roads to avoid and the MANDATORY need to have my phone on wi-fi or reconsider coming at all. The ride up had about 1 mile in total of semi-washed out very bumpy roads with several deep potholes along the way. I didn't mind it was a dirt road at all. At night it would've been dangerous AND RAIN was coming that evening for my right back from town. That got me concerned before I arrived. The note on the door said I should text them upon arrival. It was not explained to me on the phone nor in the emails sent to me AFTER I paid that I absolutely MUST set my phone to Wi-fi for calling and texting. We were not able to figure it out on our phones (we're 73 & 75), so without thinking it was a real need to complete this (we were not going to spend our days there) we figured it was not mandatory clueless about how IMPORTANT it actually would be to actually with the main office upon arrival. We came, I opened the door, read the note to text (laughed a bit) then just left so we would not get lost going home (no GPS) while it was still daylight. I did like the people I spoke with. Very kind and sweet people. Just not good at warning guests about the washed out roads as well as the mandatory need to figure out the wifi on the phone. Never going back. PS...I live in the mountains of PA.

Chloé (10/5): Perfect. - We had such a good time. We were only there for 1 night this time but will definitively come back. The cinnamon twist for breakfast were divine, the cabin prepared thoughtfully and the mattress felt like sleeping in a cloud. Nothing, it was all perfect.
Bernard (9/5): We had a wonderful time. - Location is extraordinarily beautiful, especially in autumn. The cabin was well designed, except in one respect (see below). The appliances and heating all worked well. The kitchen area was seriously lacking in counter space. We had to use some of the little counter space we had to store non-refrigerated food items because of limited cabinet space.

Marty and Carol have thought of absolutely everything that you would want or need. The cabin was fully stocked with all the necessities for your stay, and it is absolutely spotless! Everything was spectacular- the only negative (if you would call it that) was that it was a little bit farther away from the college than I am used to. Driving up and down the mountain road multiple times per day was interesting! Good thing I have a big, sturdy truck

Comfortable beds and everything you need for a short or long stay! If we come back to the area, we will definitely stay again! Even delicious cinnamon twists on the first morning! The garbage disposal process was a little confusing.

Very good family room space for games and t.v. Overall it was perfect for our family. Comfortable beds, excellent bath room. Close to skiing and Middlebury for restaurants, night life. Would come again!! Could have snowed more, but that is not in our hands...or is it?

Daniela (10/5): A HIDDEN gem! Clean, cozy and comfortable-- and a memorable stay - Marty and Carol were incredible hosts. They welcomed us and gave us the inside scoop on the property! We had access to blueberries and fresh raspberries and a great mile long trail on the property! First morning we had some delicious cinnamon twists waiting on our step. It was so peaceful and enjoyable. Even when we were being a little loud Marty kindly told us to just turn down the music a little but was EXTREMELY nice about it. We were pleasantly surprised with all the activities that there was to do on the property-- hot tub, lawn games, fire pits! We originally anticipated to be out of the cabin all day but we ended up staying on the property the whole time because we were enjoying it that much. Thank you for having us! Looking forward to staying here again! The road to the cabin is a little difficult if you dont have a car with AWD! However, once you get to the area around the cabin, it gets a lot better.

Private cabins, 24/7 outdoor hot tub (!), absolutely beautiful grounds, and anything you need to borrow or have fun with...it’s all here! Within the cabin itself we had a fireplace and kitchen, and outside a screened-in porch, fire pit and charcoal grill - all of which we took full advantage of. If you get one thing about this review, let it be this: I called out of work and stayed an extra night!! Such a wonderful place surrounded by beauty and so many amazing spots to explore! Can’t wait to go back!
