DG (8/5): We were very happy with our stay and would definetly stay again if in the area. - We were very surprised that a facility as nice as this was in Adelaide as we had been told not to expect much from the town. The rooms were clean, and airconed, and when the power in the area went off there was a backup generator which got our aircons going again. Very grateful. Having a lovely pool area and restaurant (for supper) on the premises was an added bonus. It's a well run establishment. We had nothing to complain about.

Nicole (9/5): What a lovely stay! - The minute we stepped onto the premises, I fell in love. The guesthouse met all my expectations. What you see in the pictures is what you get but seeing it in person is so much better. Our room was perfect. So clean and well kept. The bed was so comfy. We had breakfast at Shalom Restaurant on Sunday and it was so good. The staff was so nice. We met Rosemary while checking out and she was so incredibly kind. We didn't have enough time at the guesthouse to utilise all the facilities but we are so coming back and getting the full experience. Nothing.

Kari Hamre (8/5): - We had a very nice room for three with a nice bathroom. There was a kettle, a fridge etc. The rooms were quiet. There was a pool but it was too cold to swim. We had locked-up parking on the grounds which was appreciated. On their page it says the restaurant is open till late on Friday and Saturday evening. But, there is no food served after 7 or 7.30 pm, only drinks! So please be careful of this if you are arriving a bit later like us!

Clerista (6/5): Great place in Adelaide to stay - beautiful outdoor area. rooms are clean according to antique styles. easy check in. staff are helpful. easy to get to the restaurant. best beef burger you will ever eat. comes with aircon bed warmer, towels and you can request for iron or hairdryer. walking distance to rest of town. overall the place is super clean and comfortable. also the aesthetics is really nice that old age vibe and tranquil. it's really beautifully if you get a front room with the garden. you can speak with the staff to clean or not. the price is really not worth it. there isn't much competition however for the sake of the best from the worst this is what you get. the owner isn't very friendly at the bnb compared to restaurant. pray for staff to help you. it's like a household and you just got a room on the side. it's really antique in the sense like just make do with what you can but for the area it's good.the bathroom is really spacious however no toiletries especially since you so far from proper shops shampoos and other items to make it better. if the restaurant is going on all night the sound will travel... however it was really clean. compete for undercover parking if you go out you might not get a parking inside also walk up stairs with luggage. no one to help or welcome you to the room. it's just the price they really need to maintain the room if you open the cupboards you see all the cracks of the old building. it's best though for what you get

I’m not a fan of the mattress ...it’s too hard and doesn’t do justice to the room, which is otherwise perfect. The mattress feels cheap and detracts from the overall experience.

J (7/5): Very nice stay. I rested well, and I was treated very kindly. Safe parking. - Very Friendly staff, very positive check in. Clean room, with aircon, I was upgraded from the room I booked. Very modern ameneties. Quite a nice experience. Lots of attention from the owner / manager. Very nice people. The restaurant on the premises. The food was very unsatisfactory. I received 9 small oily mushrooms with a small bowl of sweet chilly sauce in stead of tartare sauce as per the menu, for R75. (i.e. R9/mushroom). I then was served a very thinly cut t-bone (less than 10 mm thick) with cold mushroom sauce and raw cold chips, for R135. After I managed to find a waiter, they microwaved my plate for me, to heat up the sauce and the chips. So I ended up eating hot raw chips and I couldn't eat my salad, as it was quite hot too. The t-bone was ok. There are not a lot of places to eat in Adelaide, and I guess this place is better than the others, so eat before you book in perhaps? Very nice B&B though. I recommend the B&B. I doubt the restaurant manager ever checks to see what food goes out of his kitchen? Maybe he is tending the bar and not paying attention to the food they are serving? Anyway, this is what happened, I could not speak to anybody about it at the restaurant. Nobody asked me if my food was ok during my visit. Maybe the waiter staff just need training? They are very friendly though.
