• Stéphane (10/5): - Nous y avons séjourné à la fin de notre séjour au Maroc. L’objectif était d’y relaxer pendant deux jours pour bien terminer les vacances. L’endroit est fabuleux, offrant des chambres superbes qui sont munies d’une terrasse intime où l’on peut prendre nos repas. En fait, le service peut aussi se faire sur les tables près de la piscine. La piscine et l’aménagement tout au tour est parfait. Comme il y a peu de chambres, il y a toujours de la place et de l’intimité. Pour les repas, le petit déjeuner était compris mais pour les autres repas, ce n’est pas une obligation. Cependant, nous avons pris nos dîners sur place et c’était succulent. De plus, le service, mené avec discrétion est excellent. En résumé, nous nous y sentions comme chez soi. Pour ceux qui aimerait aller vers la médina, il y a un service de navettes et c’est à environ 20 minutes. Vraiment, je recommande!

• Mstar2603 (10/5): Paradise - We had an amazing time at Dar Sofil. It’s hard to pick out specific things as everything was amazing, but in particular the staff (Mohamed, Ayoub, Mehdi and the kitchen and cleaning staff), were incredibly friendly and spoiled us everyday, and then the pool and sunbeds were exactly what we needed, so peaceful and calm. The room was a great size and well air conditioned, we had a comfy bed and a massive bathtub. Breakfast every day was delicious, and the lunches and dinners too were great. They provide a taxi service to the town for €10 each way which was really helpful and made going out for dinner very easy. We would come back in a heartbeat, and already miss being there! Definitely go for it if you are on the fence about booking. Thank you Dar Sofil!

If you want to feel at peace with no care in the world, this is the place to be. My husband and I stayed here before visiting Casablanca. We have traveled to many areas both domestically and internationally, but by far this hotel is top-tier. Be prepared to be spoiled. Every day we look forward to breakfast, lunch and dinner on our private terrace. Mohammed is an exceptional host. There's no doubt that his top priority is making his guests feel at home. What a team you are - like coming home to a family and really feeling very welcome. Your place is like a dream - the rooms are beautifully decorated, with your own cozy little terrace with a view of the pool and garden, wonderful pool area framed by a fantastic garden and everything perfectly taken care of. The food and service first class. The best was probably still the breakfast on the terrace after a morning dip in the pool and the lovely evenings when the heat had subsided and you could enjoy the magical sunset. Also the best service when it comes to excursions, transport etc. Never had it so good! Thank you very much for everything - we will be happy to come back and enjoy your stay. • Simon (10/5): The perfect couples getaway. - Dar Sofil is a boutique, luxury villa with just 4 guest rooms. Each has their own terrace, which you can dine on, if you choose. Ther's a lovely pool and plenty of areas to eat lunch and sunbathe. Mohamed (the Manager) and Yassin couldn't do enough for us. The food was excelent and it's the perfect couples getaway.

• S8382WFpaulc (10/5): Amazing Stay - An outstanding stay st Dar Sofil, Mo, and Medhi were amazing hosts. The rooms are very well equipped and comfortable all your needs are caterer for. The standard of housekeeping was very high. The food was fantastic, and the breakfast was excellent. A great choice, we went on a balloon flight early morning and they ensured we could enjoy breakfast when we returned. The evening meals were equally outstanding,freshly cooked with fresh ingredients. Mourrad, the driver, ensures you get where you need to be, with lots of information. The Spa treatments were all first class. Overall, it's a perfect Riad.

Few well equipped suites situated in a beautiful garden offer the opportunity of a wonderful and calm holidays in Marrakech. Great reception and services provided by professional staff. On top of a very good breakfast Dar Sofil could easily organise lunch or dinner to its guests.

• MandiC517 (10/5): Calm, relaxing and luxurious - So pleased to have booked to stay at Dar Sofil Suites, it was fantastic with wonderful staff and great facilities. It’s about 20 minutes outside of old town Marrakesh but staff can arrange a taxi for 10 euros. They provide a free collection from the airport on arrival (about 30 minutes away). It’s so tranquil and relaxing with only 4 rooms so feels very special and there’s no difficulties getting space round the pool. The rooms are really spacious with huge bed and a lovely private terrace. Good quality linen and pillows with fluffy robes and towels provided. The staff are really friendly and went the extra mile to help with suggestions for restaurants and trips. The food was delicious and very fresh using ingredients from their gardens, the breakfast was huge and the evening meal was good value for money. They don’t have a licence for alcohol but can arrange to collect locally if you want a drink. It was very clean. We didn’t use the spa as was only there for a few days.

I’ve stayed with my partner, alone & with friends & everytime it is just wonderful. I’ve been coming here since 2018 & the team have become my 2nd family! The villa is just beautifully kept, the gardeners do a wonderful job ensuring the well manicured surroundings are always on point. Mo & Medhi are a credit to the villa & part of the reason we continue to return as often as we do. The food is another story, Soukaina & Hassna are so talented & be prepared to go home slightly heavier! You can truly feel the love put into every meal. And Mourad is just a truly lovely soul, he will ensure you get where you need to on time & safety whilst filling you in with lots of interesting info about the area. I could go on & on, the housekeepers, spa staff & security are just lovely hard working people. I promise you won’t be disappointed & yes it’s taken me all this time to write a review because I didn’t want to share my little secret hahaha!

We went for a short trip to celebrate my husband’s birthday and from the outset we were amazed by the incredible service from all the staff. Firstly we arrived a bit late as our flight was delayed but we had a full fresh dinner prepared for us on arrival (which was delicious!). The facilities and the rooms are excellent, Ilyas and his team were always available to help with any queries from transportation to visiting different places and restaurant recommendations. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back again!

It’s a small hotel but has everything you could wish for!!! The pool, the food and privacy you experience is just great and exactly what we were looking for! We loved every minute and are already thinking of when we could come back!! Thank you for the great stay an we totally recommend this to anyone who needs a relaxing holidays where you just feel looked after in the best way!!

• gobiLondon (10/5): Keep This Place A Secret - This will be my 30th review on Tripadvisor. Some have been so so, some have been good and just a small amount have been excellent. This place goes right to the top of the list. If you want to experience both true 5 star luxury in an oasis of calm before the frenetic medina, which is about a fifteen car ride away, then you couldn't improve on this hotel. Firstly, my thanks to Selma and the rest of the people working at the Dar Sofil. They are exceptional, being extremely attentive, whilst not intrusive and nothing is too much trouble for them. They have a car that will pick you up at the airport and is available all day and evening to take you to wherever your going and pick you up. It's only a minimal charge, but extremely helpful. The hotel, which has only six bedrooms is very impressive both inside and out. As you walk into the building, you really get the full impact of the Marrakech experience. Four of the six rooms and terrace face onto the impressive pool and on your terrace is where you are served an amazing breakfast and any other meal you may have. We decided to eat in the hotel the night before we left, so after an amazing hamman & massage in the hotel (highly recommended) we had a meal that was one of the best we'd eaten all week. The rooms themselves are clean, comfortable and spacious. I could rave on more about this place, but all I would suggest is that you keep this place to yourself.

Con sole 4 stanze avrete la sensazione di essere ospiti intimi di un caro amico, lo staff gentilissimo è mai invadente renderà il soggiorno molto piacevole. La piscina si commenta da sola, incredibilmente bella e rilassante vi farà ritrovare la pace dei sensi.
• Olliewood23 (8/5): Overall a great and relaxing experience - Dar Sofil is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Morocco if your main focus is to relax and decompress. My one and only goal when visiting was exactly that...to RELAX! The staff are attentive and very nice, they all speak English which is helpful but also French and some speak Arabic also (interestingly as I know more Arabic than I do French it seems) and the environment, gardens, pool and overall experience is high quality and well worth the money. Some disadvantages: - The food choices were very wetsernised which was frustraing. I like to taste locally foods and offerings of Hamburgers and Wraps annoyed me personally. - Breakfast consists of Tuna Pizza, Cake and Pancakes. An interesting combination and again not one favoured by me. I wanted to relax and detox and eat my usual healthy diet which was VERY difficult to do. There should be more healthy options available for sure. - 65 EUR for a massage and Hammam is expensive. I expected it to be high quality but sadly the value just isnt there. The lady who performed the Hammam was rushed and the Hammam was very weak and underwhelming. I have had tourist and local Hammams in the past and they have been the usual rough scrub and polish. This was weak and not worth investing into. However, food and spa experiences aside (oh and the fact we got in trouble for bringing our own bottled water into the hotel) it was a good experience and one I can reccomend.

The rooms are very beautiful and confortable very clean place, staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Salma and her team do everything to make you feel welcome.Definitely one to go back to.
• alicailin1969 (10/5): Wow Wow We will be Back - There are no adequate words to describe our wonderful 3 day trip to Marrakesh where we stayed at the Wonderful Dar Sofil. Yes its about 20 minutes from Marrakesh but after the madness of the Souks, the noise, the busyness what joy to escape to this oasis. Dar Sofil have their own driver who will pick you up from the Airport, drive you to the city center and also pick you up, if you dont fancy your chances with the local Taxis. Dar Sofil is managed by Selma, a joy to deal with before your trip and during your stay, the waiters who seem to magically appear when you need anything are professional, friendly and go way beyond their job spec.We had a ground floor suite which was spacious for the 3 of us with direct access to the gorgeous pool. Breakfast can be served there or in the dining room. If you dont feel like heading back out, have dinner it is excellent. I really wished our trip was longer so we could have enjoyed Dar Sofil even more.I have stayed in 5 Star hotels before all over the world but none come close to Dar Sofil. Hopefully when we can travel again we will return

• Verified traveler (10/5): - This property is perfect fit a quiet restful getaway where you are treated by the happiest of staff and made to feel like royalty. Service of food and drink is slow but it didn’t matter as the staff were just so helpful and cheerful. We felt very special staying here. However, it is in the middle of nowhere and 20 mins outside the main city so not good if you like walking anywhere. The staff arrange cars when you want a taxi anywhere. In fact they will organise anything for you: trips, restaurant bookings etc. A perfect getaway.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Sehr schöne Unterkunft, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Das Dan Sofil hat insgesamt nur 6 Zimmer/Suiten, sodass man fast alleine in dem gesamten Hotel ist. Der Pool Bereich sowie die Lobby sind ein Traum und man kommt sofort in den Ruhe- und Entspannungsmodus. Was jedoch noch verbessert werden könnte, ist die Schnelligkeit des Service. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend, jedoch dauert alles ein bisschen länger, wenn man etwas bestellt oder z.B. auf das Frühstück wartet. Aber da wir ja sehr viel Zeit hatten, hat es uns nicht ganz so gesteuert.

Le Dar Sofil est un peu excentre mais la mise à disposition d’un chauffeur quasi privé est un vrai plus pour aller en centre ville et revenir à l’hotel. Merci encore à toute l’equipe
