• Lea (10/5): Beautiful view, delicious breakfast and perfect location . - The room was nice and spacious , the view from Our private balcony was one of the most spectacular I have ever seen , the breakfast was delicious and it was perfectly located in Assos , just a few minutes walk from the square but peaceful and quiet. I really recommend this hotel if you stay in Assos. The bed was very hard ( it’s a personal, preference ) and the bathroom a bit old but the positive points more than make up for it .

He was rude the 2 times that I called asking how to checkin (there was no one in the apartments when we arrived) and when asking about the inclusive breakfast.
• Fiona (9/5): Beautiful spot, a must stay if you’re in Assos! - Absolutely BEAUTIFUL property. The views and rooms are incredible. Couldn’t fault the view, the peacefulness or the room. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included every morning, fresh from the island. Eggs, fruit, honey and yogurt, cheeses, ripe tomatoes. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated, spacious and clean. Robes, fresh towels daily and pool towels supplied. The gentleman who delivered our breakfast every morning and the mature lady who cleaned our room were both so lovely. Thank you for such a lovely stay! Unfortunately the bathroom we had, on arrival the shower head didn’t have a holder. They did fix this on the third day for us however I felt with the price we paid, this should have been fixed prior to someone staying there. The hook that was fitted on our third day wasn’t adjustable so the shower hose pointed out on a 90 degree angle meaning you couldn’t wash hair and the water sprayed all over our bathroom floor leaving our bathroom soaked every night which wasn’t great. Other than that, everything was wonderful and we would return here again :)

The view was spectacular from our room and the pool was the perfect amenity for hot summer days in Greece. "Filoksenia" is an important Greek cultural concept that these hosts embody (I.e. hospitality, love of strangers). The bed was clean and beautifully presented! Some might find the mattress too firm.

Her husband the chef brought us breakfast to the room and we enjoyed it while sitting in our sea front balcony. Recomended 🏅🏅🏅 The water in the shower are salty but that is a common local thing at assos.

The views are incredible from the room across the bay. There was free parking across the street which was a bonus. The breakfast was fantastic, served to us on a big tray at the time we requested - and varied daily, so much food and all freshly prepared. The staff were all fantastic and attentive. Very peaceful settling in the evening. Assos can get quite busy during the day with visitors. The walk up to the castle is worth it just for the views. We had a lovely stay in Assos for 3 nights before moving onto Sami. Thank you Girasimos!

Lovely apartment, very clean on arrival and kept that way by daily housekeeping. Bathroom, in particular the shower, was cramped and flooded each time it was used but was fine. Cooking facilities are limited but helped by the lovely, friendly and helpful Ioanna providing us with an airfryer. Great breakfast every day, served on our shaded, stunning terrace. A wonderful, peaceful haven within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants etc. The bed was too hard for us.

• Anastasiya (10/5): Absolute Bliss - It was an absolute bliss to stay at Kanakis! Nothing can beat a delicious breakfast served at your balcony overlooking the beauty of the cliffs and sea. It is very peaceful, quiet and relaxing, you only can hear the waves. Place is incredibly clean, you can’t not notice how hard the staff worked every day to keep it immaculate. Joanna was the sweetest and so helpful. The pool overlooking the sea was refreshing and very well maintained. The hotel is located a short walk to the main square in Asos with couple of cafes and stores.

• Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, offering us tips for days out, helping us arrange taxis and being really flexible about breakfast times. The breakfast was fantastic, always with a perfect mix of different kinds of food. The thick greek yoghurt was a highlight, as were the delicious overnight oats. Assos bay is 2 minutes away and is calm, beautiful and a great place to swim and paddle board. The sea view from the balcony/ poolside is incredible - looking out towards Myrtos beach.
• Michael (10/5): Peaceful, scenic and extremely relaxing! - Everything! The property was beautiful, with the nicest view I have ever seen and everything there was kept spotless. Our service from the owners was outstanding, they were so helpful and gave us excellent recommendations for our stay. Aside from the view, one of the best parts of our stay was how peaceful it was and the team at Kanakis made the stay so enjoyable, even bringing us wine on our first day and breakfast to our door. When I am next in Kefalonia, I am 100% staying here!

Simple luxury looking over the beautiful views of the ocean with a gorgeous swimming pool to enjoy below your balcony. THE most amazing breakfast served to your room every morning was the highlight. The place was so clean & comfortable with robes & slippers. There was nothing I didn't like
• Danielle (10/5): Wow, wow and wow - Stayed for 1 week at Kanakis Apartments and can honestly now say it's my new favourite place. Wow, what can I say. It's a slice of paradise, ssshhh don't tell anyone. We left Kanakis feeling restored, rejuvenated and reset. The place is absolutely tranquil and oh my goodness, starting the day with a Kanakis breakfast brought to your room, a must! Everything is attention to detail and the owners and house keeper are so kind and welcoming. The room and facilities are absolutely spotless clean. We hired a car from airport and drove, there is car parking space available if you ask. The pool area and view is out of this world so even if you feel like chilling by your room, you won't be disappointed. Cannot wait to return, it's a very special place, so happy to have discovered it.
• Susan (10/5): A special place in Assos - The studio, Sofita, was well appointed, had breathtaking views of the Assos coastline, and was perfect for 2 people. The breakfast delivered to us each morning was delicious, well presented, and obviously prepared by Ioanna and Gerasimos, the two professionally trained chefs who run Kanakis.They also provided great suggestions for places to eat each day as we would plan our daily explorations of the island. They were gracious and knowledgeable hosts. We will return next time we visit Kefalonia. The bed was a bit hard but we still slept well!

It's in a perfect location with beautiful sunsets over the peninsula. Couldn't have asked for a nicer stay, we will definitely be back! Even swam in the pool during April but it was a lovely sunny spot.

• Lynda (9/5): Wonderful. The owners couldn’t do enough, especially Joanna and her delicious breakfasts - Its location. Peaceful and beautiful . Right on the cliff edge. Wonderful sunsets. Its furnishings were good quality and well co-ordinated. Room was spacious It was a bit difficult to find, arriving in the dark despite the owners many messages and photographs. All looked different in the dark! Maybe he could do a video to follow from the point of needing to turn left not right at the big parking sign and then down to our parking area and allocating parking area. Parking wasn’t easy. And it was a short walk up hill to the property. But when we arrived the room was beautifully presented with inviting lighting.

• Helen (10/5): This is a lovely appt in a beautiful location the views are spectacular. The pool is lovely and the hosts are excellent - Fabulous views fabulous breakfast !! Nothing it was great I suppose having only 2 bathroom is a squeeze if there are 4 of you but that’s not really a problem.
