Guest Reviews
- F (10/5): Exceptional - Super helpful staff
- Cho (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice Service, good experience, closing Kaike Onsen Information Center and can rent bicycle!
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- LandWorkerL (10/5): Very good view with great meal - We have order the dinner and breakfast. And it is amazingly good! it is fresh and tasty though it is expensive somehow. But we find that if you book the hotel really very early, they will have some very good deal with the dinner and breakfast!
The hotel just near seaside, you can enjoy the wave sound. But you can't see sunset nor sun raise in your room, because of the direction.
The onsen is not very special. Just one indoor and one outdoor. You will go there anyway because there is no bathroom in the room. If you like, you can rent the private one.
Overall I had a good experience in the hotel.
- Teruaki (8/5): Very relaxing and healing - I visited this hotel for my business trip. I had not expected anything great in selecting the hotel in Yonago. To my surprise, this hotel was great. I do n't mean it was gorgeous. It's very relaxing, clean and nice ocean view and hotel staffs are highly trained and attentive. The Onsen was really good, too.
I want to visit there again not as a business trip.
- seanseungw0nj (10/5): Great place for a relaxing night - I visited Yonago for business and happened to find this hotel to stay a night. I had unexpectedly relaxing time. Onsen at night seeing the sea was really refreshing. The walk alongside the beach after breakfast was also pleasant. 20minutes from airport by taxi. If I go back to Yonago, I will definitely stay here again.
- TaKy_Yau (10/5): Nice hotel with great onsen - The hotel is near to the tourist centre and it takes around 20 mins bus from yonago station. The hotel staff can speak English but not extremely frequently.
I stayed at the west wing but my room didn't have a bathroom so I needed to go to the public bath house. It's a very nice experience and there is an onsen there. I also tried the private onsen and it was great and clean.
They did providing dinner and breakfast. They were traditional but delicious.
- jk1987sg (10/5): Get a real Onsen Experience in a beautiful Setting - The hotel is about 15 minutes or 1800 Yen taxi ride away from Yonago station, right in front of a sandy beach. The interior is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is quite relaxing. The staff is very friendly and helpful (but does not speak English - I think some basic Japanese skills are required). I was not aware of the Western Breakfast option. The Japanese Breakfast is really good if you like Japanese cuisine, the dinner even very good (it included Sashimi, Tempura, fish on a little hot stone, a little shabu-shabu and some more exotic seafood), the wine served from the region fits the meal very well.
The onsen is a bliss, one indoors, one outdoors, facing the sea-side.
The rooms are spacious (no shower though, you have to use the onsen), nicely and simplistically decorated, also facing the sea.
It was an ideal place to unwind, calm down and enjoy. We used it as a place to stay for one night after visiting Tottori. The next day we went to see Izumo-taisha, so I can not really judge anything else in Yonago.
- BoulderTravelers5 (6/5): Stay here for a Japanese Onsen experience - As a western traveler, a Japanese style hotel with Onsen only and no private shower may be a bit of a surprise, so be pre-warned.
Breakfast options include western or Japanese-the Japanese breakfast is nice.
The Onsen is clean with indoor and outdoor baths overlooking the sea which is really nice.
Location is along the sea, maybe a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the train station. Yonago is small, so I doubt this hotel is too far from anything.
