• Rogelio (7/5): “It is very good, but the overall experience could be enhanced by offering bellboy and valet parking services.” - Staff is incredibly helpful, Martin the waiter is so nice and polite. Staff made the trip worth. Almost forgot, kids pool is so nice. First: no parking lot inside or valet parking available. Second: the long way to reach to the restaurants and pools, there’s no fans or a way to feel cooler at the restaurant. Hot was implacable that weekend. Third: The room service menu should offer more options, especially since an extra fee is charged for the service.

• Yessika (9/5): HUATULCO FEB 2026 - El hotel se encuentra en alto ... el restaurante mas abajo (hay una rampa bastante larga) tomala en cuenta si no te gusta caminar ... a mi no me causo conflicto. La habitacion te la entregan hasta las 3 p.m. exactos en su hora de check in, el servicio del restaurante es bueno en relacion a precio - calidad, en las bebidas por lo regular es autoservicio ... aunque si hay meseros es menos tardado si te lo sirves tu mismo. El area de la alberca ... bastante comoda y con vistas al Mar me gusto. Tiene 2 playas ... 1 esta bastante empedrada ... no puedes nadar ahi, pero si tomar el sol y puedes tomar fotos espectaculares, la otra playa tiene espacios bastante comodos para nadar incluso con niños, hacer snorkel y kayac ... estos te los presta el hotel y cuenta con personal salvavidas hasta las 5 p.m. el area de los camastros tambien es comoda y hay un minibar que te puede estar atendiendo para las bebidas ... toma en cuenta que las playas se encuentran a unos 5 minutos caminando pero dentro del complejo del Hotel. Te dan bedidas de cortesia en la habirtacion al inicio de tu estancia (2 cervezas, 2 refrescos y agua de refill todos los dias, tiene una cafetera y tambien te dejan Cafe) tiene una zona de ceremonias, spa excelente servicio (masaje sueco), fotografos que toman sesiones cortas y crean bonitas fotos (por mi estancia me regalaron 1) y las demas las venden sinceramente a un costo excesivo, cuenta con un sendero hacia una montañita ... que me parecio padrisimo ... tomas fotos hermosas del Mar. Tienen servicio de taxi para que te lleven al centro, a otras playas a precio accesibles. Los precios de los Tours tambien son accesibles si decides comprarlos dentro del hotel. PERO SI VAS A DESCANZAR esta perfecto porque puedes ir a la playa todos los dias.

El cuarto contaba con lo descrito La comida , en general los dos días que nos alojamos , la comida no tenía buen sabor , no había muchas opciones. También el restaurante queda lejos de los cuartos y para personas de la tercera edad como en el caso de mis papás , puede ser complicado llegar hasta allá todos los días . Ádemas solo cuentan con un único restaurante , y eso dificulta la variedad.

Tuve un problema con el funcionamiento de la caja fuerte y con el inodoro en días diferentes, en cada uno de los dos casos, desde la primer respuesta hasta la solución satisfactoria, tardaron menos de 15 minutos. La atención en restaurante, bar y playa, también excelentes. Tener que dejar un voucher abierto en la llegada, aun cuando ya habia liquidado el total del hospedaje y alimentos. Es difícil conservar la temperatura deseada del agua de la regadera de la habitación.

• Enrique (6/5): Ok compared to the others - It was a relatively quiet/intimate resort. The staff especially at the beach were very nice and friendly. There was a good selection of food for vegetarians/pescatarians. The pool was nice and amazing views. The spa was relaxing- I came out feeling so smooth and clean! The distance to the main area where there is food/pool/beach felt a bit far. The pool area felt a bit run down. The water in the room did not seem fresh. They refilled a glass bottle. They refused to provide me with bottled water even though I mentioned I had been sick and wanted to be sure I was getting safe water to drink. Wifi was pretty bad all over the resort but especially in the room. There was sometimes pork or meat in the food which was not listed in the ingredients. For instance there was pork in the ensaladilla rusa. I dont eat pork for religious reasons so this came as a shock (and probably demonstrates their lack of awareness on this topic). Also, we chose Huatulco because we were told the water was calm and you could swim in it. I dont know if it was just this resort, but in general the water is not safe. The current was strong and the was a red flag every day of our stay.

• cdnSTEELman (8/5): Know before you go! - This is not a typical warm weather all inclusive resort - in some ways that's great - but you should know what you're getting before you go. I traveled with a friend From Dec 24-31, 2025 on a WestJet Vacations package booked last minute through SellOffVacations. Direct flights between Calgary and Huatulco both ways using WestJet aircraft - uneventful and on time with shuttle service on both ends to and from the airport. You could take a cab to simplify things for 300 pesos one way if you wanted to avoid the wait / multi-location drop-off - pick-up scenario but it wasn't really an issue for us other that being at the airport four hours before departure coming home. The hotel is about a 25 minute drive without stops west of the airport right on the ocean and is about a 5 minute cab ride to Crucecita (local town) or the Marina Santa Cruz district (beach / bars / restaurants / shops, etc). It's an 80 peso cab ride from the hotel to either Crucecita Centro (town square, church, restaurants / bars, shops, grocery stores and markets) or Santa Cruz. Hotel Coral Blue is comparatively VERY small (about 100 rooms in one building) and caters primarily to Mexican nationals. We found staff here spoke far less English than at bigger resorts we've stayed at (no big deal) but were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The hotel block is at the top of a steep hill / ridge and other than the front desk, rooms, and gym, all other facilities / services are at the bottom of the resort. If you are at all mobility compromised, this is not a great choice of resorts. You move between the hotel block and everything else by going up and down a series of five covered switch-back ramps. It's about 100' vertical change up or down and ~400 adult male strides. It's not a huge deal but you should be very aware of this before going. It certainly makes you think if you REALLY need to dash back to the room for something! Most days we took everything with us for the day when we went down for breakfast. We had a double room on the second level and I was VERY impressed with the mattresses (they seemed new and were VERY comfortable as compared to the more typical rock hard Mexican beds). The room was spacious and the view off the balcony overlooking the cove and ocean below was spectacular. It seemed all rooms face the same direction. The was a mini fridge that was restocked daily with two local beer and two sodas (typically Pepsi but 7up a couple of times) and these beverages were included. There was also a glass bottle of water that you could refill at the front desk at often as you wanted. The toilet / shower area could be closed off from the sink and closet area so one person could be using the facilities while the other was getting ready. The room was kept clean daily with fresh towels and sheets. There was a fairly big safe although ours wasn't actually affixed to anything. The hot water in the shower was spotty at best... sometimes a couple of minutes worth, sometimes none at all, sometimes almost the whole shower. That said - when it was cold it was more refreshing than freezing so not a big deal for us. We did not have noisy neighbours so found the rooms adequately quiet after the nightly entertainment ceased (by ~10:30pm most nights). The TV had lots of channels, the vast majority in Spanish as one would expect. There is only one restaurant on the property - a covered, open-air buffet with lots of seating. There was a different theme each night and a fresh grill with something different each evening meal... burgers or hotdogs at lunch and it doubled as an egg station at breakfast. While we always found something to eat - if food is at the top of your list, you may be disappointed with the variety / options after a couple of days. There are three smallish bars serving up good drinks (with or without alcohol) and lots of waiters / waitresses seemingly always buzzing around to ensure everyone had a full glass. There is one pool down a few steps from the restaurant with some covered seating if you got there early enough plus loungers and tables in the sun. There are two beach areas - both severely lacking in covered seating areas. The main beach is good for both swimming and snorkelling and is in a high-banked cove so mostly protected from rough waters and wind. The second beach - down from the pool and also in a high-banked cove, is smaller and the water's edge is very rocky - not really swimmable. We hung out here most days as it was quieter and just steps up to the pool. I recommend sand / water shoes on both beaches as the sand has lots of coral shards in it and can be a bit rough to walk on in places. Bring your own snorkel gear if you have it. The resort also has a couple of kayaks you can use if you want. There is a spa although we didn't use it and a place where you can get a massage on the quiet beach. There is no kids club or teens club here and nor are there any scheduled beach or pool activities like at other resorts. The upside is that this makes it a quieter, more relaxing experience. The downside is if you're looking for a game of beach volleyball or pool aerobics, you won't find that here. We met some folks with older teens and they found the resort a bit sleepy. There was musical entertainment each night and mostly very good. There is a splash pool area for wee ones so you can entertain toddlers. Overall it was decent value for the high season week of Christmas / New Years but I would expect to pay much less for any other random December - February week. If you're looking to relax in a quiet, comfortable resort with great service and don't mind a bit of a walk to and from the rooms, this is a great choice - especially if you don't need to be wowed by the food (it's good and plentiful, just not a lot of variety and all buffet). If you're looking for more action, have older kids / teens, or want a great culinary experience, look elsewhere.

• K1137WKbf (2/5): Be aware! - In all my years of solo travelling, I have never been treated so poorly as I was here. I had booked a 14 day all-inclusive stay-my first here but not in Huatulco. I ended up getting very sick with a cold I likely caught at home. I had a fever, was faint and couldn’t make it down the considerable distance on a very long and steep ramp to the restaurant. I was ignored by staff for the most part (I speak Spanish and English) and when I asked for help was insulted verbally in Spanish by a staff member so much so that I packed my bags and checked out 8 days early. There was no manager to talk to and a refund was refused for my unused time. There were no repercussions for the staff that I know of and the booking agency I used was unable to successfully contact the property or a manager. I had to book another 8 days at a different (and amazing) place in town where I have stayed before at considerable cost and when I explained that I was unwell, they went above and beyond to help me and made sure I was safe and had what I needed. Aside for this, the inaccessibility of the beach, lack of access to actually clean drinking water, poor repair of the pool, equipment and buffet, I likely would have roughed it out but not returned. If you have any mobility or health issues pre-existing or while you are there, you will need to take a taxi into town for basic help. People with mobility issues won’t be able to safely access the beach or pool area and there is no assistance offered from the staff. If you do make it to the beach, the view is lovely but the pictures online are deceiving.

• Franziska (9/5): - Tiene acceso a una playa muy bonito y buen bar! Pedimos un Late-Ceck-Out por un costo extra, así que salimos justo a la hora a la que sirvieron la comida, pero nos negaron el acceso al bufete ya que la extensión del horario no incluía este servicio. Lamentablemente no nos habían informado antes de pedir este servicio de Late-Check-Out porque entonces pare que se paga la cuota si no para acceder a todos los servicios del hotel por más tiempo!!!!

Tiene un gran corredor para acceder al unico restaurante asi como la alberca y playa, para quien tenga alguna condicion fisica que no le permita trasladarse facilmente puede ser un problema. Los alimentos son muy variados en todos los buffet del dia. Poca cobertura con wifi. En general bien.

• Tre (6/5): El personal del hotel fue excelente, especialmente José Luis y el chef Héctor, siempre atentos y amables. Sin embargo, l - Queremos agradecer de corazón al personal del hotel, en especial a José Luis, jefe de los meseros , y al chef Héctor, quienes se encargaron de nuestras necesidades especiales en la alimentación con muchísima paciencia y siempre con una sonrisa. También un reconocimiento a las camaristas, que fueron muy amables y mantuvieron la habitación impecable, y al equipo de recepción, que en todo momento nos atendieron con simpatía y profesionalismo. Lamentablemente, durante toda la estancia sufrimos con los mosquitos. Volvimos de las vacaciones todos llenos de picaduras, como si tuviéramos algún problema en la piel, y ni siquiera los repelentes ayudaron. Es urgente que el hotel fumigue las instalaciones y los alrededores, ya que realmente nos arruinó parte de la experiencia. Incluso tuvimos que salir muchas veces a pasear para evitarlo, lo cual nos generó gastos extra no previstos. Además, en la zona del restaurante hay muchísimas moscas, lo que resulta bastante desagradable a la hora de comer. Otro punto a mejorar es la conexión a internet: solo funciona en el área del restaurante, no en las habitaciones. Hoy en día no debería ser un problema ofrecer Wi-Fi en todo el hotel. Por último, la distancia desde las habitaciones hacia las piscinas, el restaurante y la playa es considerable. A nosotros no nos molestó tanto, pero para huéspedes con movilidad reducida puede ser un inconveniente, ya que el shuttle tarda demasiado en pasar.
