- Annabel (6/5): - Good location. As a foreign resident who lives in Japan, I was not happy that the staff asked to make a photocopy of my residence card. Hotels are in fact NOT legally required to do this, and when I told the staff this was not necessary, they insisted they had to do it. If this is standard hotel policy in every Washington Hotel in Japan, I will choose to stay elsewhere.
