Very helpful to have pickup/drop off in the area upon arrival and departure from town. Beds are firm but so the trick. Lots of good food in the area. Would recommend.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location and friendly staff - The staff were friendly and helpful. They reached out ahead of our arrival and offered pickup service from the Hirafu Welcome Center. They were waiting when we arrived by bus. The location is walking distance to the slopes and lots of food options. The place was clean and has amenities geared towards skiing (drying room, washing machine, ski room, and eggs for breakfast!). Areas for improvement: there was sometimes a line for the shower due to the fact that the predominantly US, CAN, EU, and AUS guests did not share the japanese style shower properly. (Google: "onsen shower":) I heard that the female shower was much larger. Given that most guests were male it would make sense to switch facilities. Or maybe just put clear signs outside that states that the shower is shared. Also the beds were not the most comfortable. Given the convenience factor and price relative to other places around I would definitely stay there again!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff was so friendly and helpful. They picked us up from the bus stop and dropped us off at the end of our stay. They also helped us figure out transportation to nearby resorts (Rusutsu and Moiwa) and find a nice onsen nearby to relax our sore muscles. The breakfast was a nice start to our day and we also enjoyed the dinners at the lodge. It was a good way to chat with fellow travelers as well. Grand Hirafu is just a short walk away, although a bit tougher in ski boots because of the incline. If you already have your pass there's another lift to that has less of an incline on the walk there. The showers are Japanese style - multiple shower heads in one open room (separated by gender, you can see this in the picture). This can be a little shocking to foreigners but I never had another person showering at the same time. You'll have to do the same if you go to an onsen so I wouldn't get too hung up on it. We'd definitely stay here again on our next visit to Niseko. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

- ALEX (10/5): Home from home - Amazing stay here with Andres and Tash. The lodge is a home from home conveniently located right in the heart of town, bus stop just outside or 5 minute walk to the lifts. Great friendly atmosphere, breakfast included and lovely clean rooms.
- Kevin (10/5): 離超市、公車站近，是個溫馨的地方。 - 這間旅館是澳洲人經營的，以背包客為主，裡頭的客人以西方人居多，較無亞洲人。工作人員都非常的友善，會時常詢問有什麼需求，令人感到溫馨。裡頭的客人也都會聚在客廳聊天打屁，不會感覺冷冰冰的。整體來說是個很好的體驗，如果喜歡旅行的話，這裡是個不錯的選擇。
- Timothy (10/5): Fantastic hosts!!!! - These guys were amazing. Made it so easy with transfers from airport to lodge, booking restaurants and general local knowledge of the village and mountain. They make everyone feel relaxed and the breakfast was perfect every morning for big days out in the mega snowfall we had. This was my first experience of a traditional Japanese pensione and everyone was very polite and considerate in shared dorm room and bathrooms. The slightly westernised fitout did not take away from the general ambiance at all. A short walk up to the Main Street or the Shuttle Bus stop right outside the front door makes for a super convenient location. But most of all it was Andre, Tash and Jordan that made my stay so great; thanks again guys, you really are special hosts!!!!

- Thomas (10/5): Excellent Hosts and great access to the slopes - Moorea Lodge was fantastic throughout my stay and made the entire visit as easy as possible. Tash and Andres are fantastic hosts who are very friendly and accommodating, they gave out excellent advice about the local area and the best ski runs on the mountain. In addition to this, Tash emailed me in the run up to my stay and helped me arrange a ski pass, airport transfers and equipment hire for no extra charge, which made getting settled in as stress free as possible. The location of the lodge is perfect, right in the middle of the best bars and restaurants and with a stop for the free shuttle (which takes you to the slopes in about 5 mins) right outside the door. Breakfast was included every morning as well as updates on the weather conditions, avalanche risks etc. The rooms were clean and comfortable and there is good storage for your ski equipment and a drying room for wet equipment. Can't recommend this place highly enough, fantastic value for money and it was a pleasure to stay here. Would definitely stay again!
