• James (9/5): This is the second year we have stayed here and I would recommend it - Great location and the villa has the most amazing sea views. The pool and outdoor area are very spacious. Bedrooms and lounge living area are also great. Locks on the patio doors can be a bit fiddly
• Luc (8/5): Excellent séjour - Très belle villa, confortable, très spacieuse, au calme, avec vue sur mer. Grands lits confortables. Belle piscine, grandes terrasses, barbecue. Très confortable pour 6 personnes. La villa est assez ancienne, et plusieurs accessoires étaient abimés ou pas utilisables (mixer, sèche-linge, fléchettes ...). Le chauffage de la piscine pour un sur-coût important.
• Gernot (9/5): - Gute Lage, sehr geräumig, toller Pool, schönes Ambiente Die Unterkunft benötigt etwas Maintenance (Außenbereich / WC-Spülungen / Türen nicht verschließbar / etc.). Hier müsste der Inhaber mal 5.000€ in die Hand nehmen, was aber anscheinend seit Jahren nicht passiert!
• Alina (8/5): Beautiful villa with great views that requires small additional care - Views, pool, great kitchen and space. Very poor internet, screws sticking out of the old deck, ants in the kitchen, unexpected sprinklers watering gazebo and all outdoor tables.

The villa was clean upon arrival. Interesting excursions, such as Funchal, hiking trails, and the sea nearby. It's a quiet neighborhood. The villa does need lot of maintenance

• Tiago (9/5): Perfect getaway for families - The location is perfect. Clean swimming pool with a great view. Perfect communication with the host. Big rooms for a big family. Overall cleanliness on point. House is equipped with everything we needed. The WiFi coverage could be better if there were more WiFi extenders installed. The property is big and you lose connection in some areas mainly in the kitchen and the garden.

• Sarah (9/5): Incredible - Amazing location, great sized villa, had everything we needed and more! We miss it already. We weren’t aware of a pool cleaner so were surprised when someone turned up as only one of us was at the accommodation so it would have been better to have communication to know we were allowed to let this person in. Apart from that it was great!
• Florien (9/5): Fantastic accommodation! - Fantastic location with lots of space. We were travelling with 8 adults, still everyone had their own space. We chose for the option to the outside pool, which allowed us to swim even though it was only February. The beds are very comfortable, the sleeping couches are comfortable enough. There is enough parking space for 2 (3,4?) cars, and there is a cute redtaurant/bar in a 10 minute walking distance. Great service, the team of MHM Lovely Stay was always reachable and we loved the accommodation. Will definitely consider coming back! Some things could do with little repairs (some electrical sockets are loose, some screws could use a bit of tightening). Also, there were some ants entering the house (not weird, considering you're in nature), which forced us to keep the kitchen clean at all times. Which could also be seen as a happy necessity haha!
