• JP (8/5): - It was OK, especially for the price. But convenient location on the Plateau, with shops, sights restaurants just walking out the door.
• Neusa Lourenço (10/5): - Good breakfast and near to a supermarket and restaurants. 5 minutes from a beach. Be careful when i did check in they wanted to pay again the fares and taxes! Took 2 days to resolve the problem. They speak in escudos and we don’t understand cuz we think is the city tax ( 23€) and they wanted me to pay around 300€!! Take whit u all the receives to prove what u did already paid. The rest everything was good.

• Leontina (8/5): Praia Comfort - alltid kärt återseende - Jag återkommer alltid till Praia Comfort vid mina besök i Praia. Alltid bra och trevligt bemötande av personalen. Rent, fräscht och välstädat. Och inte minst gillar jag det centrala läget mitt i Plateau.

• Boye (2/5): - Though my Expedia reservation reads "One Adult", I don't know why it reads one adult as I was travelling with my wife and made the booking writing our names (two names) boldly (i.e. Reservation for "A" & "B" on the reservation form), so it is clear that the reservation is for two people, even thought "one adult" is showing somewhere else on the form, which could have been an error. At least Expedia and the hotel reviewed the form and didn't point out that the form reads "one adult" but two names were provided to be the guests at the hotel. The reservation showing my name and my wife's name was confirmed by both the hotel and Expedia. I informed the hotel that my wife will be arriving a day before me. When I arrived at the hotel a day after my wife's arrival, the hotel insisted I have to pay for my stay separately making two payments for us as a couple and that otherwise I cannot check in. I reserved one room for us as a couple, and the hotel is asking me to pay per head. I have never witnessed this in my life. The hotel charged me double payments for our stay for the number of days that we stayed there. That was very dubious and fraudulent behaviour on the part of the hotel.A BIG FRAUD. I am demanding an immediate refund of my extra one person payment or Expedia should refund the payment I made to it.The hotel actually told me to contact Expedia and collect my money. Once that is done, that will correct the double payment made by me. Expedia,please do the needful. Thank you.
• Harald (8/5): - Das Hotel ist schon ein bißchen abgewohnt. Das Zimmer war sehr duester von der Einrichtung her sonst aber in Ordnung. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Personal nett und hilfsbereit.
• Marine (6/5): Bien pour une nuit - L’hôtel est idéalement situé dans Praia, pratique si vous ne restez qu’une nuit ou deux. La vue de notre terrasse était exceptionnelle mais l’entretien de la chambre laisse à désirer, nous ne nous sommes pas sentit à l’aise

Staff were friendly and helpful, arranged a great tour of island for us. Generous breakfast each morning. Large rooms with comfortable bed. Highly recommend. Good restaurants in walking distance.

Centrally located, it is easy to explore other parts of the city and the island. The rooms are chic, comfortable and clean and the staff at Praia Confort are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Highly recommend

• Verified traveler (10/5): A place to stay in the heart of Praia - Absolutely fantastic stay in Praia. You guys gave us the best impression to Cabo Verde has to offer. The local knowledge was there to help, some things would have been impossible without your help. Pro's in this hotel: the level of service, location, helpful staff and cold drinks. During the breakfast there was always some local specialities not available even restaurants. Obrigado Maria! We had nothing to complain about and even the pandemic situation was taken seriously. Thanks for the whole team!

• eudes (6/5): déçu - un hôtel 3 étoiles... pas au standard compte tenu des prix pratiqués 66 euros la nuit. pour avoir le droit à un petit déjeuner il faut se lever à 7 h car il n'y a pas suffisamment pour les 17 chambres. la tête de lit est déchirée et le tour du matelas aussi. les WC sont suspendu à une telle hauteur qu'en dessous de 1,8 m il est impossible de toucher par terre lorsque l'on s'assied dessus. De plus, l'espace entre e dit WC et le lavabo est très exiguë gare à l'embonpoint! Je passe rapidement sur la climatisation qui fait un bruit de tonnerre et ne délivre que de l'air glacial. Et enfin la chambre donne sur la place et la rue très bruyante. très déçu par cet hôtel. Je ne recommande pas.

Breakfast can be upgraded a bit, and definitely please make sure all your new receptionists are with good English and are in the know, or have the manager be on their shifts. There was a mistake in the reservation for my colleague that only an experienced English speaking receptionist solved at midnight, an hour before my colleague arrived.

Quarto escuro, porém com uma vista muito interessante dos morros da ilha. Bizarramente a porta do nosso quarto não tinha fechadura... não tivemos qualquer problema com isso, mas é esquisito não poder “fechar” o quarto... O ar-condicionado estava com um vazamento que molhou bastante o quarto... A cama era bastante confortável e o banheiro espaçoso.

• Abby (8/5): Central location, polite staff, great air con. - A well presented hotel in a good, central location near to the market, shops and restaurants. The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was spacious and the air conditioning was very good.

• Nicolaas (10/5): Uitstekend hotel - Het hotel ligt in het centrum van Praia. Uitstekende locatie met restaurants in de directe omgeving. Naast het hotel is een supermarkt. Het hotel is zeer verzorgd, het ontbijt meer dan uitstekend. Ik ga er zeker weer terug als ik op in Praia moet zijn. Geweldig hotel zeer aan te bevelen.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Overall good experience - cautions though - Wonderful location in the older plateau area of town. WiFi worked in the room only about half of the time. The elevator was unreliable, so be prepared to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. No inside security lock on the room doors. Once my room door was opened by another patron using their keycard for a different room!!!

• Alexandre (10/5): Très bonne surprise ! - Ne vous fiez pas à la peinture de la façade de l'hôtel qui mériterait un léger rafraichissement, cet hôtel présente des chambres grandes avec une bonne literie et un niveau élevé de confort ! de grands balcons/terrasses sont présentes, ce qui après les travaux du parc donneront un avantage certain à l'hôte !
• Efrat (8/5): Great hotel in a great location - I loved staying at the Praia Confort - my large, modern, handsome, and clean room was facing the plaza, and the location was perfect for the work trip I was in. The only downside is not having internet in the rooms.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Almost perfect - but not quite. - This place has it all - perfect location, great rooms, nice staff - but there are some major deficiencies that were really a bother. First, internet was not accessible in our room. We had to go downstairs and sit in the lobby to connect. That might have been alright back in 2002, but it is no longer acceptable in 2017. Secondly, since we didn't have internet, we decided to watch television in the room. Only three stations - all in Portuguese. We don't speak much Portuguese and so it was a no-go. Breakfast was really good, the staff was very nice. I hope they can rectify these rather simple things. If they do, this place has the potential to be a truly great hotel.
