The room was bright, clean and airy, very comfortable beds and everything needed for an overnight stay. Lovely fluffy towels. Nice breakfast served in a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Easy check in/out. Highly recommend. Couldn’t fault a thing 😊

• Andrew (10/5): Always stay here family run business so you get to know them personally rather than a large hotel where the staff are co - Great location right in the heart of the village older property so high ceilings on suite facilities in all rooms a fridge freezer and microwave for guests to use clean and tidy helpful staff just what you expect. Nothing it’s a real treat.

Rebecca who was on Reception when I arrived is very friendly and helpful, which as a lone traveller was much appreciated. The included breakfast was very good and the fact that they provide a takeaway option was a bonus. being picky, due to the age of the building there was limited power sockets and not in the right places for charging your phone during the night.

Room was cold when we arrived, however heater worked well when turned on. Breakfast was ok but felt there was an oily smell that lingered.

• Becky (9/5): Comfortable stay in a very central location. - The staff were very welcoming from the minute we arrived, offered some friendly useful information, the room was very comfortable and spacious. In a really central location. There was an electric heater in the room, we did have to use this when we arrived but it did warm up. The heating was working in the morning. The tea and coffee facilities were quite poor standard, but breakfast coffee was lovely.

• mandy (10/5): Warm welcoming and stress free. - We had a lovely warm welcome, room was spot on very clean, lovely hot shower and comfortable bed slept as well as we could under the circumstances of our stay, we were up in woodhall for my father in laws funeral. Breakfast was good . We would definitely come back and stay . Plenty of free parking . And right in the town so easy walking distance to the pubs restaurants and shops. Thankyou Claremont for making our stay a lot less stressful, hope to see you again. There was nothing to really dislike.

The place was beautiful and an excellent position in the village. A stair lift would have been perfect
